Happy birthday!!!!

How did I do that??? :confused3 I didn't even know it. :confused3 :)

It wasn't something you specifically pointed out, it was something I realized when I was reading something else you posted. I couldn't do like Lindsay said and book what I thought I would need because I would have run out of points. So instead of waiting to see if I could add DxDDP to the AP room I changed the ressie to a DVC room and added the DxDDP. Now we have 2 possible things to save us even more money - our 1 night waitlist could come through, or we could get an AP rate for the nights we are on the hotel side, or both! We will still have 7 points left over, even if we get that last night with points.

I throw it into my brief case..and give that to them

you have to have a CC guarantee...but the don't charge until you check in

Do you put the laptop in another suitcase or just hand them the laptop case?

Why did the girl at Member Services take my credit card number if we don't pay until check-in?

I didn't think the paperwork was too bad...but I have a tendency to read with 1 eye and then sign...

Well, we are already in pretty deep. I am thinking we better just sign and mail. If there are surprises (like the thing about not being able to bank in the last 4 months of the UY) I hope I find out before anything bad happens! :rotfl2:

I am a little worried about lack of storage space in the studio, considering how much luggage I like to travel with. :rolleyes1
Is there a corner or something where we can stack luggage? We usually stick it in the closet, but there aren't closets, are there? At AKL the one time we had a room with a connecting door there was a little alcove for the door and we put the luggage there. It was great!

We may try to go with only 4 checked bags. If we weren't moving so many times it wouldn't be such a big deal, but I think maybe we need to plan to leave the pool towels, umbrellas, and maybe a few other things at home this time.

What do you guys think I should do with the laptop when we switch rooms? Carry it around with me or give it to bell services? A guy on the DVC board said to give it to bell services, but that sounds like asking for a disappearing laptop!:scared:
That's it?!? :scared1:
Happy Birthday, Tia!

I hope you've had a day as special as you!
Ditto! Happy Birthday!

I was wondering about that too... but the result was positive, so just say thank you! :rolleyes1

party: :bday: :rockband: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIA!!!:rockband: :bday: party:

Soooo...

We're staying at SSR and going to Epcot (9 AM opening). Where should we go for TS breakfast? Cape May? Somewhere else? We can take a cab to breakfast, so maybe 'Ohana or 1900 PF? Or maybe I should call and do it based on what I can book!
I would stay in the Epcot area. How about Spoodles? I thought the food was pretty good at Cape May even though there was something in my ice tea (without lemon!) and we didn't get to see Chip.

Yes, let me see them please!
Sent you the link.

Cape May breakfast is great & a must do for us every trip.

I was at our Disney store last weekend and they only had 10% off discounts. Not good enough for me. Let me know when they slash the prices and I will make a mad dash.
Is your store closing? Thankfully my store is staying open so right now we do not have a huge sale going on.

Elizabeth,
We have entertained the idea of DVC but we always back out because it's all too complicated.:headache:

Yes, Spoodles!!!! We had breakfast there in April for the first time & it was delicious!

If you have any good thoughts left in you today, would you think about our dog, Button? Kristin and I just dropped her off at the vet to have some surgery done. We don't know how "bad" it is going to be, so good thoughts winging this morning would really be appreciated. Thanks. :)
You got it.:wizard: :wizard: :grouphug:

Quick question for those of you that book with DVC. Have you ever wait listed for a day that was in the middle of your stay? If so, did you book a room for that one night elsewhere & just hope for the best or did you just not book there?
Yes, and my waitlist has come through... The BCV during F&W too! They said it coulnd't be done:goodvibes

that's what I was thinking!!

They look marvelous Tom!!
Ditto. You are an incredible Dad Tom:goodvibes

I have always given my laptop to Bell Services. :goodvibes

Yes, that DVC paperwork will give you a run for your money! ;) We had those nice DVC people to explain it to us, thank goodness, with the promise of ice cream at the end! Good luck tonight!

And, you should be okay with storage in the studio - it's about the size of a room at AKL - maybe a bit bigger. As a lot of the studios can act as the 2nd BR in a 2BR lock-off, most of them do have the connecting door - and a lovely little alcove area for it, similar to AKL. That's where we usually store the luggage.

And yes, there is a closet - it's off the bathroom, and is a sliding wooden door. It has pretty decent storage, although you have to move the porta-crib, high chair and vacuum cleaner out of the way.

I have plenty of pics of a studio we stayed in at SSR, but didn't take any of the closet or the entry area to better give you an idea.
This is the perfect explantaion of storage space.:goodvibes

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIA!

Happy Birthday Tia!!! :cake: party:

I want the link Bernadette please!

Elizabeth,

Yeah, well, stay tuned! :rotfl:
Our lease renewal about drove me over the edge this year! There were TONS of papers that they must have just added recently. I did get through all of it, after walking down to the parking lot to get our tag #s from the cars and fudging through the part about the city license for the cat. We got the paperwork from the vet but we never licensed her. And for leasing purposes Arabella doesn't exist. :rolleyes1

Tammi - The store should be 20% now, going to 30% Monday. And my store now says they CAN take the AP discount off the clearance price. But I am still waiting and watching.

Is Spoodles worth using a DDP credit for? I like buffets because it kills me to pay OOP for DS to eat a waffle and 6 grapes, but on DDP I don't mind as much!

Bernadette - LOVE the TR/photos! :lovestruc

Hi, Stephanie! :yay:

Chanon - Well, as long as there is a little alcove or closet I guess I CAN bring all of my luggage! :rotfl2:

Bob and I had a nice little surprise in the mail today (besides three free samples from Walmart...) Our pre cruise documents arrive! (there's that banana again!) It's neat to see things in the book that aren't online...like some of the bon voyage gifts or stateroom decorations. I think I might surprise Bob with a chocolate cake!

Thanks! and to everyone else too! It takes so long to upload the photos-I want to upload them at full resolution because Kodak will archive them for me. I still have to do Joe's trip too and order him prints for the photo album we bought him-that was the only he bought on that trip.

Won't you have to pay for all that luggage?????? I'm thinking of taking 2 bags for the 5 of us in August instead of just one as we won't be mailing anything this year.
