I am a little worried about lack of storage space in the studio, considering how much luggage I like to travel with.
Is there a corner or something where we can stack luggage? We usually stick it in the closet, but there aren't closets, are there? At AKL the one time we had a room with a connecting door there was a little alcove for the door and we put the luggage there. It was great!

We may try to go with only 4 checked bags. If we weren't moving so many times it wouldn't be such a big deal, but I think maybe we need to plan to leave the pool towels, umbrellas, and maybe a few other things at home this time.

What do you guys think I should do with the laptop when we switch rooms? Carry it around with me or give it to bell services? A guy on the DVC board said to give it to bell services, but that sounds like asking for a disappearing laptop!

It's your fault. You told me to call about the DVC incentives.

Then it's Tammi's fault, because she got me thinking about replacing those middle 6 hotel nights with a DVC room and adding DxDDP to that.

Tell Bill I said he is a pansy. It makes perfect sense!!

DH said our FedEx of DVC documents came today. I bet THAT will make MY eyes glaze over.

When you add a cash night to your DVC ressie when do they charge you for it? I see the deposit for the new hotel ressie in "pending" but the charge for my cash DVC room isn't there. Maybe their system is just slower.

Yes, that DVC paperwork will give you a run for your money! We had those nice DVC people to explain it to us, thank goodness, with the promise of ice cream at the end! Good luck tonight!

And, you should be okay with storage in the studio - it's about the size of a room at AKL - maybe a bit bigger. As a lot of the studios can act as the 2nd BR in a 2BR lock-off, most of them do have the connecting door - and a lovely little alcove area for it, similar to AKL. That's where we usually store the luggage.

And yes, there is a closet - it's off the bathroom, and is a sliding wooden door. It has pretty decent storage, although you have to move the porta-crib, high chair and vacuum cleaner out of the way.

I have plenty of pics of a studio we stayed in at SSR, but didn't take any of the closet or the entry area to better give you an idea.

Shoot. I was hoping you would say the DVC paperwork isn't that bad. Well, our guide said to call him if we have questions, so he may be in for some calls! He said most things are handled over the phone, which i guess gave me the MISTAKEN impression that the papers wouldn't be too bad. I wanted to wait until we were there to buy in but he said it was SO much better to buy in beforehand that I kind of got caught up in the moment. I will probably be sorry when I get home and start going through paperwork. I know we have to go have it notarized and send copies of our DLs but that shouldn't be bad.

Sounds like the storage situation is much better than I was imagining!

We're staying at SSR and going to Epcot (9 AM opening). Where should we go for TS breakfast? Cape May? Somewhere else? We can take a cab to breakfast, so maybe 'Ohana or 1900 PF? Or maybe I should call and do it based on what I can book!

Leighanna's teacher had told me the other day that she was just about out of crayons. So after seeing this idea on the DisBoutiquer's board, I made one for her to take to school.
After all the other kids saw it they wanted one too!

I went to lunch yesterday with Leighanna and all the kids told me they wanted one.
They each told me what color they wanted and I made them last night and today.

I think they turned out pretty good.

Alyssa's student teacher sent her pencil/crayon box home with her over spring break asking parents to replenish their crayon supply, because they were 'getting tired of peeling paper down. My response to that was that there were only 2 months of school left and she could make due. I did go through it and throw out all the nubs, but she wasn't going to get another pack of crayons when in 4 months I will be buying more packs come school supply shopping time.

Long day at work..sometimes we get people in that seem like they are from another planet!

Still no word on our CM discounts but everyone is happy to be under the Disney Co. again.

I was at our Disney store last weekend and they only had 10% off discounts. Not good enough for me. Let me know when they slash the prices and I will make a mad dash.
