Is Spoodles worth using a DDP credit for? I like buffets because it kills me to pay OOP for DS to eat a waffle and 6 grapes, but on DDP I don't mind as much!

Fpr breakfast I would say to pay OOP for Spoodles. DDP for Cape May.

Bob and I had a nice little surprise in the mail today (besides three free samples from Walmart...) Our pre cruise documents arrive! (there's that banana again!) It's neat to see things in the book that aren't online...like some of the bon voyage gifts or stateroom decorations. I think I might surprise Bob with a chocolate cake!

Like the Mickey pearl necklace I should have bought for my first cruise when it was less then $200, last year it was $250 and now it is $285 I think. Way more then I would spend.

I forgot that Grey's was on tonight. I will have to watch it online at a later time.

I got a postcard in the mail from Mickey AKA DCL, telling me he will see me on my cruise soon. It is quite cute. I have never received one before. I guess it is because we booked directly through DCL and then transferred to Dreams Unlimited instead of just booking straight through Dreams. Either way it is a nice postcard. I just hope I can actually see him soon.

Tomorrow night I am heading to Relay for life, as my Aunt asked me to help at the one she is participating in as they never have team members stay. The one I am helping to plan is in June and we have over 30 team members.

So I am being lazy tonight. I should head to bed soon.

Tammi - The store should be 20% now, going to 30% Monday. And my store now says they CAN take the AP discount off the clearance price. But I am still waiting and watching.

Leighanna's teacher had told me the other day that she was just about out of crayons. So after seeing this idea on the DisBoutiquer's board, I made one for her to take to school.
After all the other kids saw it they wanted one too!

I went to lunch yesterday with Leighanna and all the kids told me they wanted one.
They each told me what color they wanted and I made them last night and today.

I think they turned out pretty good.

Don't blink or you will miss me, because I move FAST!
I have just finished completely GUTTING my middle 10 nights. The first 3 and the last 3 don't change, but I am relentless on those middle nights! So NOW this is what we have:
3 nights AKL concierge, 6 nights SSR Studio (5 nts. on points, 1 cash with the 25% discount) and DxDDP all 6 nights, 4 nights pool view AKL (at RACK RATE but hopefully there will be something better when AP rates come out), and 3 nts. AKV Standard Studio on points. I am waitlisted for one more night of the AKV ressie because I have enough points to cover it. If it comes through I can knock one night off of the pool view room.
Of course that TRASHED my ADRs. And a couple of my park days. I fixed them, but they aren't fixed as well as I would like. I need to keep looking at it. I swapped dinner at Jiko for Narcoosee's, which I think we will like. I need to rewrite my little chart (I am not advanced enough to do it on the computer) and see if there are any gaping holes or glaring inconsistencies that need to be fixed. And I need to tell DH what I did.
The thing that kind of chaps me is that after ALL of that I only saved $60. Losing the AAA discount on that hotel room was problematic. But we'll see what happens when AP rates come out.

Thanks, everyone. I think the DDA pixie dust worked again. Surgery took a while but the vet seems to think it went well. There was nothing on the x-ray. The tumor was very vascular so required a drain to be put in. I am very glad we opted to leave her there for the long weekend. It would have been tough to care for her, I think. She will come home Monday with the drain removed and only stitches remaining.
