My little man is going on his first 'date' this afternoon. His closest friends are girls and one of them invited him to go see Horton this afternoon. They are picking him up at 1:30, and I've been teasing him that he is going on a date. He gets soooo embarassed!

Sorry to be incognito. It's been busy at work, school, just life in general. We leave on FRIDAY,and the kids have no idea. They think we're going Saturday morning. I can't wait to pick them up from school. And it looks like now Miley Cyrus is performing at the Disney Channel Concert too, so that's the Jonas Bros, Cheetah Girls, HM. There is also a parade for the DCG on the day we're at DHS! The kids have no idea and are going to flip.

Hope everyone is well. We're off to 2 birthday parties today.

That would be cute! Just remember that it will probably be really, really hot. The year we went to MNSSHP in mid-October it was hot and DS was kind of cranky in his costume, yet he refused to take it off! Pack some T's and shorts to change the girls if they are uncomfortable, and make sure you and Jeff are dressed comfortably, too!

Thankfully, canons take SD cards which are much less expensive than XD. You should be able to find a great deal, for a good size card! Do shop around.... you can likely get a 1 or 2 GB card (all you'll ever need ) for not much more than something half that size!

Unless you are me, who sometimes fill up more then a gig a day of just pictures and my camera is only 5.1 mp. I always shoot at full resolution. Also if you take video it quickly eats up space. That is why I carry 2 gigs or more and a laptop when I know lots of picture taking will occur. I dump cards on a nightly basis to my laptop in a new folder on a trip. 2 gigs is not enough for me for more then 1 day in some cases.

I know most of you probably only take 100 pics or so a day and you might be OK with 2 gigs total. I know I will not be. I think the best advice is to know your picture taking style and how many pics you will take. But this can vary greatly from day to day. Your mileage may vary.

That would be cute! Just remember that it will probably be really, really hot. I was thinking of a yellow onseis and attaching some blue felt.

Olivia is the one I would worry about. Not sure how to do a king triton costume. If I did Eric it would be shorts and a white shirt. mine would be red shirt and shorts just not sure yet how to do the claws.

I may just make shirts for Jeff and I and let the girls wear costumes.

We have a 2gb memory card and a 1gb memory card. We will be taking the laptop with us so we can download pictures every day.

It's not Disney but there is a new ABC movie on tonight called "Princess" that Becky & I want to watch.

ETA: Isn't ABC owned by Disney? I've read reviews that this is Disney.

Abi was a lap baby....only time she's staid still for that length of time (almost an hour and a half)
