Elizabeth I do not exercise either, I just plain outright do not like it :rotfl:

Deb sounds like the mortgage people need to slow down & let you get things taken care of at home.

Anne Marie I really like the way you deal with computer/game time. I could have used that advice a few years ago :thumbsup2 The boys do not have their own computer anymore & getting on Gary's computer is a big no-no. So I do let them get on mine, but I do limit it.

Well, I did buy a DVD with a "walking" type workout, but it is still in the box. :rolleyes1 I would LOVE to have a treadmill but we have nowhere to put one. I am too cheap to join the Y or a gym and probably too lazy to go if I had a membership! :rotfl: I could always just go walk around the neighborhood with Princess in her stroller, but I don't want to sit here for the rest of my work day all sweaty and gross. I am looking forward to warm weather so I can take Princess in the pool and maybe take the monitor outside and swim some laps while she is napping.
IF the stupid neighbors are finished with their "little project" by then.
I don't even do the stretching exercises for my back. I can't find the paper with the instructions.

I just remembered I saw a little Princess backpack at Payless today for $12.99. It is about the size of my mini-backpack I use in the parks. Not sure if anyone is looking for something like that. :)

Bernadette have you seen the stroller tag thread?
Yes thanks but I can't really use one on my MacLaren stroller as it would get all scrunched due to the umbrella fold and I don't know if I want to bother doing one for rental stroller that we might use on occasion this summer.

Thanks. It is just going to be John and I for that trip.
Spending my birthday and anniversary at the Contemporary. :woohoo:
How cool!!!!!!

Well, now I have a huge ulcer on my tongue, the most painful one I've ever had.
:wizard: Hope that heals fast!!!

My doctor's visit went well yesterday, my liver enzymes are back to normal. She has actually reduced my BG medicine, as my numbers have been within the target range. She started me on a new medicine for my arthitis and has given me something for the stomach issues, she feels like they me be a combination of meds and the change in eating habits, so we'll see.

She was very pleased with the weight loss, now all I have to do is stay with it, all I can promise is to take it one day at a time.
:woohoo:

Elin & Bernadette- I'm sorry to hear you don't exist:laughing:
Thanks!;)

Well if it goes through I'd be a happy camper. Then they would revert to the pre-2002 days where TDS CM's were official Disney CM's with all the benefits of a true cast member!!!:woohoo:

Yes I agree with you on your comment..sounds redundant!! Disney should have kept their stores in the first place. Our store had been put on hold for its remodel. I wonder if this news has anything to do with it.
I was thinking this would be good news for you!

I didn't check my email last night so I had a shocker this morning. Apparently a man in a hooded sweatshirt has been trying to break into homes in our neighborhood  At times when people are home. Apparently someone came home yesterday to find him in their garage. He fled. That is pretty scarey. I guess I need to go out and lock the shop and camper :sad2:

Colby and I are both feeling a bit under the weather today. We both have colds. He's got a little cough and I've got a sore throat. Hopefully the dimetap will help him and the sudafed with help me. I do NOT have time to be sick now.
Stay safe!! Hope you're both feeling better soon!:wizard:

I have a massive headache.
:wizard: Hope you find relief!

Molly woke up dry this morning and has continued to use the potty! I hope and pray this is it!!!

Our storm door finally bit the dust morning, the wind got a hold of it and blew the glass out. Thankfully it didn't shatter. It has been broken for a while now but we've managed to "fix" it each time. My aunt worked last week at a building/home products show and she asked me if there was anything we needed. I told her to be on the lookout for a door, the price tag would be perfect. Free! Well she got one and then her husband (he drove down and met her there) promptly gave it to his uncle who they visited on their way home. UGH, thanks! I thought it was a bit rude to say the least. So tonight we get to go shop for a new door.
:woohoo: YAH for Molly!!!!:woohoo:

SO....how do you know that she got the door and it was giving away??? Did she tell she got it before he gave it away? Or did she tell you the whole thing after he gave it away? How :headache: !!!

The ibuprofen isn't working yet. It's my sinuses, and I'm pretty sure it's just allergies, but the entire side of my face hurts.
I can relate to the face pain but I don't think mine is allergies.

I am miffed about the door mainly because he will call Eric any and every time he has a computer issue. And Eric willingly helps him over the phone or goes over and fixes his problems. And he never offers to pay Eric, which if he had to pay someone it would be big bucks. Needless to say, Eric will not be helping him out anytime soon.
I'm willing to bet the next time he calls Eric will be helping him out.

A new name for our group of non-existent people... The Figment Group :lmao:
I like that!

It's $3.85 a gallon here.:sad2:
:scared1: $3.12 the last time I filled up and that was full serve/brand name-I don't really trust the no name places and don't want to pump my own if I can get it for nearly the same. I think that was 3 cents more per gallon so for 15 gallons I paid 45 cents more.

The AC man left without putting me in the poorhouse, but it most likely isn't the end of it.

DH doesn't care to wear matching shirts and I can only get him to wear one on his BDay for our November trip, even then he prefers it to not be covered wtih characters, he does love Chernabog so this is what I came up with,

rbdaycopy.gif

I think it will meet with his approval.
Glad AC wasn't too bad-hope it stays that way.

Love the design but who is Chernabog again?

DH just called and said he did NOT pass the exam for the promotion. :guilty: He can try again in 6 months. He DOES get to keep his current position.

He said he got some sort of packet and he is supposed to sit down with the supervisors and put together a plan to help him learn in whatever areas he is lacking. I am irritated that he didn't pass the test because it was one of those that didn't have right or wrong answers. It was "pick the BEST" answer. :headache: The one example he gave was one about if he was a supervisor and he went to an account and saw an opportunity to sell additional product to the store would he do that, or would he tell the store that the driver would do it, or would he go to the driver and suggest that the driver approach the store. The end result is more product being sold to the store - HOW you arrive at the end result isn't really all that relevant! (But apparently it IS, and he chose the WRONG best answer.) Well, whatever. He'll try again next time.
Sorry for your DH. Why didn't they work with him before the exam?

I would guess that the go to the driver and suggest that the driver approach the store would be the best option. That way you're not undermining the driver at the store (and making the store think less of the company) and you would might be "teaching" the driver something that they could use at another store too.

DS gets his braces off May 1! I think that's really exciting! :yay:
:woohoo: You should take him to the AK pin event to celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bernadette - He wasn't really planning to apply for the promotion because he didn't think he was qualified. Then 3 supervisors all got together and told him they would love for him to be in the training program to move up the ladder, and he would be a great addition, blah blah blah. He told them point blank he felt it was premature but he really wanted to give it a try. His "mentor" had to try 3 times before he got into the program, and that was BEFORE they introduced this online exam component.
I would LOVE to go to AK for the pin event (Or go to WDW and not go to the pin event ;) ) but we really need to put all of our resources into our August trip or we will end up with a chunk of it on the credit card. DH still doesn't have airfare for the trip home, so I need to concentrate on that! But at least now we know his vacation won't change at all since he won't be entering a training program this time around.

Gas here in my neighborhood is about $3.24. In Severna Park, which is the upscale neighborhood in my county, gas is cheaper at $3.15 or so. It's not a huge difference but Severna Park has always been more expensive than Pasadena.

Elizabeth- :cool1: for DS's braces coming off! I bought the Dancing with the Stars workout DVD, but I can't find it! It's doing me a whole lot of good lost!

Bernadette- Well she didn't tell me, she told my mom who told me. Then my aunt told my mom that he was offering it to his uncle. It may not be forever but I will not let him help him out for a long time. He has offered to help us do some home improvements for $30/hr. While it's cheaper than what we could hire some one we've never ever in our family "paid" someone to help out. Given them $ for helping yes but never a "fee"

Debbie- I love your design!

I wondered about that, so I checked out the case at Walmart before I tried exchanging. They were exactly the same, and I had no trouble at all!

I'm so glad!

So i finally got my replacement computer--its not even the right model! so now im waiting for another callback from dell --ugh!

Oh, how frustrating! :(

Meijer's (which is probably local to Michigan) had it with another Disney DVD for free. I got Ella Enchanted. However, it was late last night and I forgot to check to see if they had Widescreen. Darn it! I think I'll be giving this to my niece & nephew for Easter.

We have Meijer.... I'll have to check this out.

For the first time ever, I'm celebrating Easter without my husband or kids. :sad1:

Anyone seen this article:

Children's Place to curtail Disney stores
Retailer is in 'advanced' talks with the Walt Disney Co. to take back many Disney stores.

The line that I find funny is...
"Disney confirmed it is in talks with the company, saying the stores could be an important expansion of the Disney brand."

Ummm, wasn't it already an expansion of the "Disney brand" before they sold the stores the first time? Is it really an "expansion" to take back something that was once yours already?

Oh that would be wonderful! I get less and less impressed with TDS every time I walk in there!

Oh no! That is pretty scary!

the Contemporary banner is a new one for them too, I think. It looks very cool with the monorail slider!

I agree, it looks fantastic!

Doesn't matter - I don't have a treadmill! :rotfl2:

I'm sorry Elizabeth. I'm glad that he stays put though.

Thanks for all the concerns for our neighborhood. I talked to Chris this morning and he says we should only answer the door while sporting a 357 magnum :rotfl2: I can just imagine the look on the UPS guys face :lmao: I think I'll just stick to common sense and looking out the window before going to the door.
Um, I've been known to do that, except it's a 9MM, and especially if it is after dark. It doesn't have to be visible, just handy.,

So Dorinda & Ralph are going to Disney in August. The kids will be so excited. We will be there 8/14 to 8/28 they will be there 8/19 to 8/26. She called to check the dates with me and I told her I thought she should book a room (just to be safe) before she bought airfare. I told her I would call for her and she had a PIN CODE!!!! She got 7 nights in a standard room at ASMu for $454.09. The CM tried to get the code on my room but of course it wasn't available. She tried to sell me on 2 rooms instead of the suite but I really think the suites will work better for us. My friend Terry & her DD Halley might come down from Jacksonville so maybe we can book a room under her pin code for them.

When she went to link my reservation with Dorinda's she said I was already link to Janet C. I said you must be confused-we're link in May not August but she had us link in August too. I told her we were both going in August but not to the same resort. All these trips are getting confusing.:rotfl:

We might rent a car for a day or so and go the Kennedy Space Center. That might be something we could do with Terry (she's a physics and astronomy professor).

I guess I need to redo some ADR's!!! I'm excited. I think this will work out really well. We'll have some just family time and we'll have some friend time too.

OH....and using airline credits she had she paid $258 for 2 roundtrip non stop flights. Her park tickets will be the biggest expense.

Sounds like Erik needs to start charging!

To funny :rotfl:

Bernadette - Chernabog is from the movie Fantasia, he is in the "Bald Mountain" section. DH loves the float in Spectro when the wings open up.

OH....I always fall asleep when I try to watch Fantasia.:rotfl: I do remember the float though.:thumbsup2 Thanks!

Thanks, I was wondering myself!

Do you think I should pre-purchase photopass for April? We are only there for 4.5 days.:confused3
