We're back....I am exhausted already!!

Thanks Jennifer...I got the ice packs on him now...waiting for about an hour to take the gauze out...hopefully the bleeding will have stopped enough to take the pain meds.

Kristine make sure Jonathan puts ice packs on the side of his mouth the teeth are pulled from. It helped me with the pain. Also taking Ibuprofen with the Vicodin or whatever pain med they give him.

Has anyone seen a car charger for laptops. My laptop battery only last 2hrs. Just thinking Jeff or I might want to watch a movie on the drive.

great how many did they remove? I only had one done. Mine was impacted. Mine was done in 2006 not a fun couple of days.

Hey Amy I saw in the target ad they had a new fancy Nancy book out.

So what all is going in everyones easter baskets?

he had the 2 bottom removed...apparently the top 2 never developed. Both bottoms were completely impacted.

I have one, but honestly do not remember where we bought it. Maybe Radio Shack :confused3

I buy new undies as well & socks for the boys :thumbsup2

I also went to Target to get supplies for our trip, zip loc bags, shampoo, deoderant, new undies for everyone (see Deb, your not the only one!:goodvibes ) & suncreen among the stuff I got. The rashguard top I wanted for Katie was not there..only size 4/5's!:headache: I'll have to try another Target I guess.

Hope Jonathan heals quickly & that you can keep your sanity ;)

all 4 of mine were impacted but the dentist decided to only do the right bottom one as it was bothering me and getting infected.

Sorry you can't make it to the parade today. Hope Chase feels better soon & that no one else comes down with it :wizard:

NOT fun! I hope nobody else gets sick! :wizard:

Elizabeth where is momboss flying to?

I'm not sure. Wisconsin, maybe? Dadboss said it this morning but that wasn't the part I was focusing on.

The pain meds made me really nauseated. I hope he feels better as the day goes on. :wizard:

Princess and I finished our errands.

When we were at the mall I strolled Princess past the Easter Bunny. She looked like this: :scared1: She was absolutely petrified. She wouldn't even wave to him. Oh, well. That was the reaction I was expecting!

I had the biggest "Doh!" moment today.:headache: All of the money I have been loading on my gift card has been paid in cash. What I SHOULD have been doing is charging it to the Disney Visa and then paying the card off so I would accrue reward dollars. I have $900 on there, so I have missed out on $9 in rewards. Crud. Well, now I know better! I added our profits from selling our old gold to the gift card today and I did charge it to the Disney Visa. I'll go online later today and put a payment through. Now that gift card is FULL! On Friday we'll have to start a new gift card!

Thanks for all of the  and the well-wishes for our weekend.

at least he drives... Kristin can drive but hates to. She does not have a license and has no great desire to get one. I took her out driving this week and she sang nonsense songs to herself the whole time. The lyrics were about how much she hated to be in complete control of a huge piece of metal with an engine. :rotfl:

Katrina didn't get her license until she was 17. She just wasn't interested in driving but it is a necessity where we live if you want to go anywhere. I was not hauling her around with her friends and stuff anymore. I told her just school related stuff.

Matthew got his permit within days of his 16th birthday, and he took drivers ed. all last summer. He just doesn't seem interested in getting his license yet, and after looking what it would do to our auto insurance, I'm not pushing too hard. I think he said he mentioned getting it shortly after his 17th birthday (next month!). He wasn't eligible to get it until 6 months after he got his permit, so he really hasn't been dragging his feet too much yet. I don't think he particularly likes driving, though.

Please explain to me why I am going to my parents house for Easter. It is only going to be in the low 40s up there. Here it is supposed to be in the mid-upper 60's. Here the trees are all blooming, the daffodils are open, the grass is turning green. It's going to be dismal up there. Blech.

We're heading north, too, and it's already cold and dreary enough here!

That is what my DH does. I try telling him laundry isn't like sour dough bread-you do NOT need a starter. AND then he puts everything away in the wrong drawers. I am not tiny enough to confuse my clothes with Lizzy's and when he puts the stuff in the wrong kids' drawers they assume possession of the stuff that they know isn't theirs.:headache:
Dh is good with the laundry except for putting it away correctly. He says that it isn't his fault that 14 year old girl' shorts are smaller than 8 year old boys' and that both the older kids have the same cross-country shirts.

This is one little girl who certainly won't be getting pinched today, adorable as always!

I've never heard about that pinched thing, but it seems like many of you have. I hope no one else around here knows, because I don't have any green on.

Today it tooth rip out day....Jonathan is more nervous about the I.V than the procedure!
pixiedust: that he heals quickly!

Gary is attending a visitation tonight. One of the guys he works with lost his daughter Friday night. She was on her way home from work & crashed her car. Still not sure if she fell asleep or what, she was 20 years old :sad1:
That is so awful!

Well, they may not be rained out, but they have been sicked out. Chase spent the night burning with fever and throwing up a few times. So, I guess we're all staying home for the day. Of course Kristi has to come over here to use my DVD recorder for school, but we'll just set up a gate or something to keep Chase and her germs in the living room and away from the other kids and toys. The kids have all been together this weekend anyway so some exposure has already happened. :confused3
pixiedust: for Chase and that the rest of you don't get it.

Ok, I ran to Barnes & Noble to get books for the kids baskets. I got Katie the last in the Clique series "Bratfast at Tiffany's. For Daniel I got the Flat Stanley gift pack. 4 books & a flat stanley..hope he is not too old for this, but he does love silly books. I got 2 Fancy Nancy books for Sophie.
I still have to get to Barnes and Noble for Easter basket books. Miles loved Diary of a Wimpy kid and finished it in a day and a half. I think I'll get him the second one. I'm not sure what I'm getting the older two yet. I know that I'll find something once I'm there.

The weekend in Albany went well. Laura's duet placed 6th, and her team placed 4th. They were hoping to do a little better than that, but they looked good. The next meet isn't until the end of April, so they have time to practice and work out some of the little problems.

Thats great! I am still pondering whether I should give my kids a giftcard or Disney Dollars for the trip. They have been earning allowance since our last trip & they all wanted Disney funds rather than the cash each week. Now I owe them all big time..I like the Disney dollars for their presentation but think they might be a pain to carry around & keep organized. Might be better to just gift them a card each & write their names on it to keep track.

We haven't heard of the "pinch" thing either.:confused3

Congrats to Laura!

Daniel LOVES Diary of a Wimpy Kid. He has 1 & 2 & cannot stop reading them even though he's finished the books...he loves silly books.:upsidedow

Hey Amy I saw in the target ad they had a new fancy Nancy book out.

So what all is going in everyones easter baskets?

Terra is getting a Pink Kitten Webkinz, a bell for her bike, maybe a bike basket if I can find one, a chocolate bunny, and some Disney Dollars. She may also get a couple of books if I can make it to the store.

Jennifer - In the car we use a power inverter, like pictured at the site below. It plugs into the cigarette lighter and then you can plug in any power cord to it. I like it because you can use it for laptop, DVD, phone charger or whatever else. I got mine at Target several years ago, but I'm sure you could find them just about anywhere. I think it was in the automotive section. It wasn't too expensive either. There are a couple of different options depending on how many plugs you need to put into it at one time.

I personally like the idea of the gift card. One thing to carry around for each kid instead of all the 'bills'.
