Beth I am so sorry to hear this

Hope you can enjoy your weekend :wizard:

Hello, DDA!

It's been a very strange week. I have started to post several times, but I keep erasing it. The short story is that my co-teacher's father died as the result of a work accident. I am taking it much harder than I think I should be. He was only 58 years old.

I am getting ready to head out to Albany with dd for the weekend for a synchronized swim meet. The "boys" will be on their own.

Since Kristin heads back to school tomorrow :sad1: we have grocery shopping to do today. She also needs a few more basic wardrobe additions for the "real world" of interviews and auditions. So, I suppose we will be forced to shop yet again... :rotfl2:

Then, a group of friends (including our college kids home on spring break) are headed to a decent German restaurant for dinner tonight.

That place looks beautiful. Enjoy!!!:goodvibes

It is snowing here :sad2: But at least it is not sticking & driving is not hazardous. The birds are still chirping outside, so that is a good sign :thumbsup2

I get winter depression as well, I really need to move where is stays warm!

I get that winter depression. I've been finding it hard to get up and go to work (I get up a 4am). Well, today I heard the birds singing!! :cheer2: I feel like a whole new person. But it's supposed to still be chilly and rainy all weekend. I hope not!

Sounds like a good time to me! I have airfare booked for our return home in Aug., but I have not booked it to get us there. If flight prices do not drop, I will have to play around with our arrival dates as well. I don't want to cut our trip shorter, so I am keeping my fingers crossed!

it seems like once we changed the October cruise (for timing reasons) to June...that it just keeps getting longer & longer. With the crazy airfare, we have now extended it 5 days...so we are gone 21 days:eek: 10 in in AKV concierge, 1 in Port Canavrel, 3 on the cruise and now 7 at BWV. I have never gone on such a long trip before

To funny :rotfl:

My next gadget:

My neighbors 2 dogs irritate the crap out of me with their barking...so this is the "Super Bark Free Bark Stopper" and they disguise it as a bird house :rotfl2:

:wizard: for Bill!

Debbie...how have you been feeling? I have been thinking of you!!!! Bill is having a rough patch with the diabetes control. He was really doing well...fell off the wagon...but it has taken a lot longer to get in back down. He is almost there though

Congratulations to you all! Jacob is such a cutie & look at all that hair! I love this picture, you can just see how proud Bill is of his new grandson :cloud9:

Here's a couple of pics of the newest addition...Bill's son had their first baby....he is very cute. They are having a tough time adjusting......he is not sleeping much at all. I don't think they anticipated how hard the first few weeks can be.

Forget the kids, sounds like the place for me :lmao:

Hope your stomach issues are resolved quickly Debbie :wizard:

I remember being up on deck looking down and thinking that it would be a kid's paradise on board, they have the Pizza place on one side, the Burger place on the other, the pool in the middle with ice cream around the corner, all they had to do was get in line and order anything they wanted, they'll have a blast!!! DH fell in love with the chocolate chip cookies, they wer huge and delicious, not a great place to control your diet though.

I don't have any of just the resort, but Gary did get some outside shots of the grounds.

I have a question... does anyone have a GORGEOUS picture of the Polynesian??

I am still here. I am looking up stuff on the web. Ok gotta run Daniel just got in from baseball...

I stopped at our Visitors Center to get some postcards & the gentleman that was working, out of the blue says "I wish I was at Walt Disney World right now". I looked up & my eyes were probably the size of saucers, as I was wondering what brought that up lol Then I realized my coat has Tinkerbell on it, duh!

We had a nice conversation :) He asked me if I go often & I know I was smiling from ear to ear. He asked if I stay on site & said that him & his wife honeymooned at the Polynesian. He said that they took a trip in Jan. & from what he read he thought it was suppose to be slow & was amazed at how busy it was. I told him that I don't think there are anymore slow times at Disney :sad2:

I asked him if he reads the Dis boards & he said that he goes to another site. We both agreed that our co-workers think we are nuts & just don't get it. Him & his wife try to make it at least once a year. He said he looks at other places to go, but always ends up deciding on Disney.

It was so nice to meet & chat with someone, who it seems is just as crazy about Disney as I am :thumbsup2

I did get a little chuckle though. I told him that my family & I went for Christmas & that I went to MK on Christmas day by myself. He response, "They are open on Christmas Day?"

I have been reading along and thinking of the  and :yay: and pixiedust: along the way.

I made a couple of designs yesterday which helped keep me distracted.

"See" you all Monday. Have a great weekend, DDA!

I'm so sorry, Beth. Their family will be in my prayers. Hugs for you too.

doing well? what's new with you?
Jonathan comes home today for a week. I haven't seen him since Christmas so I am looking forward to it. He is going on Monday to have his wisdom teeth ripped out!:scared1: I am NOT looking forward to that. He is not a good patient whatsoever. I may ask for extra vicodin..for me!!!! :rotfl:

Hi Kristine! How are you & the family doing? Nice to see you pop in :goodvibes

this does look interesting!

The only thing that looked good for our gang was the Pirate Museum of Nassau. I read people like it...Heres the link if you want to check it out.

Do you need an extra sister and niece? Or we can be daughters and granddaughters? You name it if we can squeeze in somewhere! :rolleyes1 :thumbsup2 Sounds really nice! Are you planning much for your days in the parks or going a little easier since you have more time?
