Chuck wants to buy one. I don't know where he thinks he'd ride it. Well actually he keeps saying how cool it would be during our camping trips. We don't have sidewalks out in the country where we live.

Vicki,

Get ready to shell out the big bucks $$$$$$$$

My friend who did the tour with me came home checking them out on their website. I don't remember how much they were but they weren't as much as I expected. She came to her senses pretty quick.:rotfl:

After watching the news while in Florida and hearing about all the crazy snow, I expected to come back to some here. There wasn't even a light dusting on all of our car windows. There was a little on the front and back window with a little ice on the front window. It took me less than 3 minutes to clean off the car when we got in last night.

I'm assuming all our DDA friends are safe and sound? If not, someone please PM me anything important that I should know. Thanks.

Yes, he has already looked them up. He is waiting for them to come down in price or for us to win the lottery! Which will be kind of tough since neither of us play the lottery very often. :lmao:

I took Joe to Barnes & Noble yesterday to spend his $35 gift card he got for the software testing. It took us a long time to pick something out. He looked at lots of bargain books on cars, looked at puzzles and games, looked at Disney musice CD, Muppets music CD (did you know you can listen to any cd on headphones?), looked at the kids books .....

Once he saw the Make Your Own TV Remote Control he knew what he wanted. He also got a 600 piece world map puzzle. He made the remote tonight and it worked! He was SO excited. It came with a book that explained how they worked-he really liked reading about old remotes.

Maybe he could get a job at Disney that requires their use.:thumbsup2

Vicki, the pics are great! How did the results of the Table Test come out? I've been saying prayers! Is she still getting dizzy and fainting?

I need to vent a bit. Chris and I went on our weight watcher's diet full force Monday morning. I even gave up ALL soda, even my beloved diet cherry pepsi. I'm drinking as much water as I can and supplementing with crystal light. I have been sure not to go over my points, so why is it that I haven't lost ANY weight :confused3 Chris has lost, though he won't tell me how much as he knows that I will be mad that he can lose at the drop of a hat.
I guess I'll just keep on swimming.

Vent over return to your regularly scheduled DDAing :goodvibes

Same thing happens with Chuck & I. It drives me crazy. I'll be starting up again this week since I'm back from Disney. We went overboard as usual while we were there. I need to up my water again and decrease my pepsi intake. I can't give it up all together. That just won't happen.

Great pictures, Vicki! The costumes look wonderful!!

It's only Wednesday Deb! Give yourself at least a week & I am sure you will drop some lbs. Life is just not fair when it comes to weight loss..men always seem to lose while women struggle. Dana can loose 10 lbs in a week, takes me a month to do that.

Also, remember it isn't just about weight. Some of my best weeks were those that I didn't lose any actual weight but my clothes fit better so I knew that I had lost inches which is actually the important thing.

I finally got my pictures all burned today! One copy is already in the firebox and have an extra copy ready to be stored at Kristi's house. I also got my music files cleaned up. There's no reason to be concerned that I have 184 hours of music loaded on this computer 133 of those hours are Disney music and 113 of those are WDW park music, right? :thumbsup2 Now, admittedly I have a lot of CDs on our computer upstairs that are not down here, but I'm guessing that the Disney music would still be leading by a landslide. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Well, I am being asked to play Diego so I guess I'd better go. I think I'll set a DVD to start burning all of my Disney MP3s. The site I got them from isn't up anymore I don't think and I'd hate to loose them.

After that, hopefully Terra will go to sleep easily so that I can watch something with Phil for a little bit. I'm thinking an episode or two of Gidget. :goodvibes

Good night, DDA.

Abu was out for the Pirates & Princess party. Later in the evening when we went by the same area, Jasmine was out instead.

Beast was in France. He is a regular with Belle there now the way I understand. Mushu was in China. We almost missed him. He was up by the temple.

When we saw Belle she really wasn't near France, though that's where she "belongs". I think she was kind of around by Morocco, but Jasmine & Aladdin were there so maybe that's not where she was, either. Anyway, France is down at the end and she wasn't at the end.:rotfl2: We saw Mushu and Mulan by the temple.

He can get a P/T job at Target as a security guard. They ride them to patrol the parking lot. Of course you have to live near a high-crime Target.:rolleyes1

That sounds really fun!! DS has a big Mickey jigsaw puzzle I bought him a few years ago that he has never opened. The cats make it hard to work on puzzles. I bought him an Erector set for Valentine's day that he also hasn't opened. He has really gotten back into Godzilla, so now that's what he has been watching and that's what he is playing on the Wii. I should make him go to bed.

She was diagnosed with neuro cardiogenic synchope. She passed out in the initial test with no meds. She has a HUGE bruise in her groin area from where they inserted the needle. They have prescribed sudafed twice a day to see if that controls it. So far, she hasn't had any more complaints about getting lightheaded. If sudafed doesnt' work, there is a whole list of other meds that they can try. Thanks for the prayers.

Deb got lots of compliments on her segway design. We had several people ask where we got our shirts. :worship:

It's amazing how many people asked my girls whether they were twins this trip. Not just the day that they wore Deb's matching shirts either. I knew they looked alike but somehow never realized exactly how much. What's weird is that at their age, I could have been Katrina's twin easily.

I also somehow didn't realize how much taller Katrina was than Becky & I. Katrina is almost 5'7", I'm almost 5'6" and Becky is 5'5". That two inches was really apparent in some of the pics from this trip.

Hi! I'm Sally and I'm a DisneyHolic............................. I eat, sleep, drink and dress Disney.................

I've been reading the thread trying to figure out what everyone is conversing about. I picked up on this. Is the lens a screw mount? And the camera isn't? You can get the converter for just a few bucks. I used to have one on my old camera. It's a ring that fits into the camera to make the conversion. Assuming we are talking about the same thing.

Most camera stores will also take used cameras for trade in. That is how I upgraded my camera. I can't remember how "fair" the deal was, but it was better then letting the camera sit around while I paid full price for the camera.

Ask the seller if they would cancel the sale. It sure couldn't hurt to ask. But sometimes you have to live and learn.

BTW........ aren't all men PERFECT!!

Hi Sally. I'm Vicki. I'm a Disneyholic as well. Chuck & I just purchased DVC because we love our Disney trips so much. I have 22 and 19 year old daughters who are in college. Both are currently living at home going to the community college. We just got back from a week-long Disney trip. We have another planned in June with my mother, sister, niece & nephew.

Thank you Tia. I have no kids. But I made my 4yo neice a DisneyHolic also. She is now 18 and trying for an internship at Disney. She's just waiting to hear from her interview. I have also made another neice a Disneyholic, she is 7 now, and being Disney with me since she was 3. Her little brother,I'm working on. I made flash cards with the Disney characters on it and we practice who they are. He's 3. I also have a neice 1 1/2. I'm teaching her the characters. I think she needs a set of flash cards! :rotfl:

I'm on the Disboutique thread. I even sew Disney. DN MUST have Disney outfits for our vacations!! I'm working on Pink Cinderella (like the mice helped make) dress for dinner with Lady Tremaine for starters.

I personally see nothing wrong with this. So why do my sisters say I need a 12 step program? :confused3

I can't imagine why your sister would think that. It sounds perfectly reasonable to me. However, my sister thinks the same thing of me as well as my friends and my coworkers and ... :lmao: I work very hard as I'm a workaholic and Disney is my release.
