DDA Chapter 4

Lizzy has worn the same dress for the last 3 years. I guess I got the $17 value out of that! She keeps growing a brick or more each year. Notice no pictures up on the mantel yet.

Helen Keller from the wax museum. I didn't know I would have such a hard time finding a parking place so I didn't have enough time there. I didn't notice Walt Disney til I was saw him the photo at home.

Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself last night Tammi. Sorry about the other issues

Hi everyone. The concert last night was fabulous.

I've read everything but just don't have the energy to reply to it all. RL issues with the ex are exhausting me.

Here's a :grouphug: and :wizard: for everyone. Know that I am thinking of you all!

Sorry to hear this Robyn

We also just found out that my great aunt passed away this morning. Joe saw her last night- yesterday was her 95th birthday- and said she did not look good at all. I am sad that she died but relieved that she didn't suffer for too long. None of us think that my uncle will last much longer.

Sending lot's of PD! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Good luck to dh!

DH just called. He will be going for a pretty big promotion in the next month or so. If anyone has some spare pixie dust he would appreciate it! His immediate supervisor and the BIG supervisor are both encouraging him to take this step, so I know he will do well. But he is a little worried about biting off more than he can chew. At any rate, if he dosn't make the cut this time he will have some groundwork in place for the next time.:)

Maddening isn't it! We got more yesterday as well, but it is warming up enough to melt it. But more is forecast for next week :sad2:

Damn more snow. :sad2: Starting tonight at 7:00 pm snowing until 7:00 am, 3 to 5" and of course more up here in the mountains.

My sister was to be named Michelle, but mom said that everyone was naming their daughters that at the time, so it became her middle name instead. She didn't pick another name until she was born. She was born in the Dawn of the morning, hence her name.

my parents named me Jennifer for one reason --- it was so unique at the time! We see how that turned out! :rotfl:

Oh that is spooky, I don't think I would want to know someone that could do that

I knew someone who had a contact in Jamaica for that sort of stuff. But I don't know where she is anymore.

Lindsay glad to hear your dog is doing better! I agree, the other vet should be held responsible for all the new medical bills. Good luck with this :wizard:

Congratulations on your promotion :woohoo:

Happy Friday, DDA! :flower3:

Thanks for all the kind words and PD for my dog. It's been a tough week with some ups and downs, but she is doing much better and seems to be on the road to recovery. She's pretty much been in the constant care of either the animal hospital or her new vet all week, but I was able to work from home today so she could have a quiet day of recuperation. Needless to say, she's slept most of the day, but is eating well, taking her meds, and seems to be breathing a bit better. Hopefully this lung infection will leave soon.

And I'm beginning to plot how to get remuneration from the vet that caused this mess. The bills have been a bit  , and I certainly think they should be held responsible. Hopefully, I won't have to resort to using some of my coworkers' legal skills.

I did, however, get an unexpected promotion at work this week, and that certainly couldn't have come at a better time with all this!

I've gotten caught up, and there's so much going on with everyone, that I'm just going to send out a big dose of  :wizard: :grouphug: :cheer2: :thumbsup2 for everyone. I'll try to remain caught-up now that RL has slowed down. Thank goodness the weekend is almost here!
