Well, I think so anyway Kyle and I have had one girl name picked out since before we were even trying to conceive. The twin thing has totally thrown it off though, on multiple levels. It doesn't seem to "go with" any of the other names we picked.... and you know I am NOT looking for "twinny" names. But it either sounds TOO twinny for my liking, or doesn't seem to mesh with anything else we can agree on for the second name (in meaning, connotation, etc).

I clearly overthink things (in every aspect of my life), so I have been to heck and back trying to make these names work without giving up the one we have loved forever!

Yes, and I found it funny that you would think I would post and share with the world before telling you if we were stealing the name you just recently told me you have on reserve for a girl!

Something orange was in my laundry. I have no idea what it was, it is gone, but it has left orange throughout all the clothes. I've rewashed and it won't come out. I've even bleached the orange that was on white. No luck. So many things are ruined, as well as one of Alyssa's favorite dresses. Any suggestions?

Ironically, when I was searching for an answer to a craft project, I ended up back in the DIS archives for this.



Tomorrow I'm hitting up Michael's to get started on a couple names of my own! If they turn out half this cute, I'll share!

Those are cute! I did my girl's names but they aren't quite as elaborate as those. Even if they don't turn out cute you must share!

Because I'm exhausted, need to find some dinner, and can't go anywhere the rest of the night (the rest of the week if I had my way) because I'm in too much pain!

(Long story, I already vented about it online, cried about it, got temporarily depressed over it and have tried to move on, so I'm not rehashing it here. You lucked out )

I feel for you, coming up with 3 girl names was hard but having to do 2 at a time would have pushed me over the edge. I'm sure that they will be the perfect names.

Oh no! Unless you can figure out what it might have been, it seems like it will be hard to try and fix. Hopefully someone here has a wonderful fix for you!

I was just planning on painting some letters white (rather than spend $10+ more per letter on pre-finished ones).... but I loved this idea, and it's really quite simple!

I appreciate the offer though... good try! Look at it this way. You guys will know very soon, and Kyle's family isn't finding out at all until it gets leaked (quite possibly after the girls are born!)



ETA: We will definitely be taking suggestions for a middle name.... we are at a TOTAL loss for one of them!

Hmmm...Kevin's never complained about reheating frozen beef stew. I thought mashed potatoes were okay, too. Thanks for your input!

How did dinner turn out?

The pork chops are simmering on the stove as we speak. It smells incredible. I seared the chops in a hot pan, and now they are simmering in a sauce made of teriyaki sauce, water, honey mustard, and balsamic vinegar. I added garlic powder, ground mustard and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Oh my goodness, it smells so wonderful. I've also got brown rice cooking to go with it.

I think freezing potatoes is a chancy thing. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Who knows?
