I didn't know about the snow forecast! And weather.com on my desktop doesn't show it either... hmmmm

Yes, weather.com is considerably different than Doug Hill's forecast on channel 7. Immeasurable snow, so don't freak out.

New fridge is here, doors do seal properly, so we'll see how this goes. The fridge is too tall to fit under the cabinets (Dadboss knew this) so he is going to take the cabinets out this weekend. Until then the fridge is kind of in the middle of the kitchen. And it isn't level. The guys said they can come back out and level it once it is where it belongs, but they weren't clear on whether they would charge for that.

I think it will be a nice fridge once it is all settled! Hopefully that growling noise it is making is just what it does as it gets cooled off.

Hmm. Dining is a bit off their game today.

I called to make 2 more ADRs. The first one for lunch at Wolfgang Puck's, the second one for breakfast at Yacht Club Galley, which isn't called that anymore. These are not ADRs that everyone is going to be scratching and clawing to get. The CM made the one for Puck's just fine but told me I am ONLY allowed to book for 10 days past my arrival date of August 1. Um, I'm going to be there for 16 nights and this is NOT the 180 mark from August 1. This is actually the 180 mark from August 10, which is my check-in day for BC! So she argued with me for a bit, finally agreed to make the ADR, then told me to make sure I call BACK with my hotel ressie #! I don't have that with me because I left my notebook at home, but I shouldn't have to call back! I told her she can pull up my ressie with my phone # but she said their system isn't capable of that. I'm not trying to book CRT outside of my booking window, for crying out loud! It's LUNCH and a breakfast that I probably could have walked up for! So whatever.

I e-mailed AKL IPO to ask them what they are doing about my Y&Y ADR. Somebody on the Resorts board said AKL IPO made ALL of their ADRs for them even though they were only doing a couple of nights concierge. THAT would have been a thoughtful gesture for AKL to extend, but never mind.

If you think you want to go to Le Cellier or anything at CRT you should go ahead and book. Not sure how fast Akershus fills up. August 10 is the first day Bounce Back was valid for August, so I guess a lot of people were calling this morning. One lady said she called at EXACTLY 7 AM and was on hold for 15 minutes. August 10 is also the first day of free dining for UK residents.

Those both sound yummy! Might need to try this soon. Since Jonathan and I aren't going to go out for V-Day until Saturday night, maybe one of these recipes can tide us over.

Just keep in mind, the longer you marinate, the better (up to 48 hours). The meat gets so tender!

I had to look it up, Amy, as I wasn't sure where it was.

Fortunately for us , she's not anywhere close to Dallas. Mission is basically on the border of Texas and Mexico, near McAllen (largest city nearby). Who knew they were "home of the grapefruit?!"

I know her sister lives somewhere near civilization, about four hours away, so there's still a chance you might run into my SIL someday (she'll be the one who has left her sleeping child in the stroller while she rides the carrousel with her older son and she'll wonder out loud, "Should I worry that I left my wallet in the stroller?" Seriously! )

I have a recipe box that was a gift from Hallmark, but you could also use an expandable folder (coupon or bill statement size).

When did Disney take off the thing where you can make payments to your ressie online? Now it says to call or just pay when you get there. Maybe because it is room only and not a package?

I have a 5 year old and he doesn't talk well on our home phone. Then again I have a 5 year old nephew and he calls here and to my parents house all the time and his parents have no idea.

Emma just started talking to me on the phone when I went to Disney in November. She had to tell me what she wanted me to bring her home. I was surprised she talked to me on that trip because I could hardly talk so I didn't sound like myself. She also talked to me everytime I called home in January to be sure I knew she wanted the tree of life. She wanted to talk to Joe too.

According to a couple of articles I read today, Disney is ready to start a refurb/reopening of the treehouses. As part of DVC and due to the size, they'll probably be out of our budget usually, but maybe we could rent point sometime for a bigger family trip. I've always wanted to stay there!

Thanks for the links. The mouseplanet link also had other news and one was a new "storm" exhibit at Innoventions. Lizzy & Joe will like that.

Actually, she was asking when Stephanie and I were going in December. I need to give her the dates and if the dates look good, and the money is right for her, she and my sister that lives in St. Pete would come too.

I'm only working until about 12:30 today. I have an OB appointment at 1:10 and I'd usually go back afterwards, but Kyle is off today and I'd rather just come home!

Since we still have so many TS credits left (due to the issues that they are having with this plan) we are doing an early lunch at Coral Reef...and then a late dinner at California Grill. Hopefully this works...Bill is obsessed about using all these darn credits...I feel like I may die trying

Things are looking up here! Katie is feeling fine, the other kids are showing no signs of chicken pox, the sun is shining (at least for a few more hours), and my house is relatively clean!

I'm going out in a little while to do some Valentine's Day shopping, and then home for a cozy afternoon with Katie! We're going to watch Gone With the Wind! Love that movie, and since she's going to see it in London, I want her to have an idea of the story!

I made my ADRs this morning. I got Biergarten at 4 for our arrival day and 1900 Park Fare for dinner on Wed. at 4:40.

The other dinner is at Cape May, which Elizabeth already booked.

We plan to do B&C for burgers one day. So will that be a CS or TS credit? They wouldn't give me an ADR for that so I'm confused about it. If it is CS then I can book one more TS.

I'm sorry to be so secretive, I know you are all my friends. But this is something I have been dealing with for a long time & it's hard.

My ultrasound is scheduled for 2/22.

I've found that none of my pregnancies have been the same. I'm 19 weeks in and I'm still nauseous (and occasionally throwing up), I have terrible headaches this time around, and I'm already having sciatic nerve issues. Of course, I'm exhausted too, but that might have something to do with chasing after a couple of other cuties non-stop.

I found the same thing with my 3. I remember having sciatic nerve issues walking down the monorail ramp when I was pregnant with Emma. I won't tell you how long I was sick with Emma but I will you that her delivery was the easiest and she was the best, happiest baby ever (til 16 months or so ). I thought I had completely lost all brain function after I had her but now that she's 5 I think I'm finally getting some of it back.

Have you decided if you're going to do the meal plan or not?

I think not as we spent less then what the dinning plan cost last time and that was with tips and gratuity.
If the DP covered tip and tax then we might reconsider

Elizabeth, I don't think it's common for IPO to make arrangements for guests beyond their departure dates, but who knows. I'm trying to remember if I asked GF IPO for any assistance with our Dec. trip once we moved to SSR, but I think I decided I may have been too much of a control freak to trust them with trying to get CRT, etc.

I didn't think you could make any payments to a room only reservation, beyond the first night's deposit.
