DDA Chapter 3

It's that whole 'cut the image in photoshope' that I don't understand. I guess I need to learn how to do that.

Tammi - use the magnetic lasso tool. When you right click on the lasso tool (should be on the left) and option should be magnetic. This one follows a path that you make - which doesn't have to be that much of a straight line - and clips it for you. Remember to click once at the beginning (where you want it to start) and then double click when you get back to that point after going around the design you want. (You should get a moving line around the picture.) Then you can cut and paste that portion.
We practiced on a photo of an apple with a lighter background - it seems to work best when there is a distint difference between the two...

I hope that makes sense!

Kinda sorta. Sounds like I need to have a steady hand.

Thanks!

Not really - that's what the "magnetic" option is for! Makes everything SO MUCH easier! I had a photo of my cat playing in a brown paper bag and was able to cut that out and plop him into a DCL cabin. :teeth:

Ok, I'm going to try it.

ETA: Thanks, Chanon!

It went well...it was loud...it was long...but they had a good time.

Physic Eve was a little freaky with some of her fortunes. She used tarot cards...and one point I was getting a little scared.

Cool!

Blasphemers! :sad2:

Tsk, tsk. The curse of the Groundhog be on yer heads now, mateys!

oh, and she told one of the girls 'I see someone with cancer in your life" Her mother had just been diagnosed 2 weeks ago!!!

Scary I tell you

Yes, but really, most of us know someone with cancer because it is so prevalent. On the other hand, maybe she really does have some sort of abilities. :confused3 I have never been to a psychic, but ExMomboss has a friend who reads tarot cards and is apparently quite accurate.

I can see it being more fun with adults and a lot of liquor involved! :rotfl2:

BYOB psychic party at Kristine's house!!

Robyn - We went to Cafe Brazil. It's a local chain. I had the French Toast with fruit. HUGE portion of melon, strawberries, bananas over French toast with raspberry cream sauce. It's my favorite. They also have an awesome self-serve coffee bar.
We should go there when you guys come to Dallas.

I take it it worked then since we have an ETA in the post! :rotfl:

ETA: You better post something of what you did! When I get home I'll post my cat going on my cruise with me. :teeth:

Thanks for the info Robyn.

No problem!

She told Bill he was leaving on a trip to Florida in the next week. No clue how she knew.

All sorts of weird things....talked about feelings I had...and then feelings that other people had about me...dark auras around them. It was unsettling...I can't explain it except to tell you it freaked me out. Finally she got to the good health for the family part...so it ended on a good note. Now I know why I never have gone to a fortune teller....plus, this chick really believes she is a psychic, making it all the more weird.

Fun, but freaky! Perfect for teen girls!

o i didnt realize that--how cool!

See you now have 2 reasons to come back ;)

Cool!

I was thinking it might have been to a place that my cousin took us to. Some diner- I can't remember the name, just that it was in Oak Lawn. The food was great. I'll have to ask Joe. That coffee bar sounds pretty neat. Definitely sounds like a place we'd want to visit.

He is coming up the end of this month. I am excited to see him again. Normally it's only once a year at Thanksgiving. We are throwing a party for my aunt, and 2 of my cousins, one of which is Joe's sister. They are turning 60, 50 and 40 all within the month of March. And it's also a going away party for my aunt, she is moving to Des Moines.

He was looking at our photopass pics and said he really would like to go to WDW. He wants to stay in Cinderella's castle. Maybe I can scam out of him for his favorite God daugther? ;)

im so annoyed at dell! i clicked for the dell chat because and was 55 in line ...so i waited and waited...finally its my turn and the dell person ended the chat.....so now im in line again...ugh!
