DDA Chapter 3

I'm so pathetic! I'm seriously considering starting a red folder for Hugh!!!

I have all the X-men DVD's, Kate and Leopold, and a couple of others that I don't let Alan watch. They are for me alone. I watch them when I'm all alone in the house! I think it's safe to say I might be a little over the top when it comes to him!

(Somehow, I think you, of all people, will understand this!)

Amy had MANILLA folders... it was Kate who had the red one (with no help from Amy, I'm sure :rolleyes1 ) ;)

Man, speed up the boards and get a new thread and you guys go crazy. Of course, I missed a couple of days too, but I'm finally caught up now.

Robyn - welcome home! Hope today wasn't too bad.

Deb - Sorry to hear the mountain problems continue. I hope you can find an alternative next year.

Jennifer - Feel better! I hope its not a stone.

Glynis - How wonderful about the new show. I would soo love to see that!

Tammi - Hope Alyssa continues to feel better.

Bernadette - Loving the report! Sounds like Joe had a great birthday!!

I don't think so. I don't think that it mattered anyway. She picks the breading off and just eats the shrimp. Thanks!

Well, I'm glad that she's feeling better. It could just have been a fast moving bug! I'll just pray that you and Nicholas don't get hit with it!

You are right! I'd forgotten that it was Kate with the red folder. Although, I think for the amount of obsession that I have with Hugh, red would be appropriate!

Tammi...where did you see that

Elizabeth - have you seen this?

Well, due to the forgetting of shoes yesterday (not really my fault as Terra could have put them on herself before walking out the door), we still needed to make our trip to the park. So, we went this morning/noonish to get it in before the rain came. Well, what happened to those good temps we were supposed to have! It was just a little chilly with jackets and not bad until we sat down to eat. Brr.. It was fun though! So nice to get outside for awhile.

It's taken at least a year and a half, but it seems that my daughter has found her inner dare devil again! :dance3: Could Splash and BTMRR be in our future?!?!

At one point, Terra suddently decided that she didn't like slides and would climb on big play structures. She'd take the steps up, but nothing involving climbing. Well, yesterday, she was climbing a little ways up the McDonald's slide and then sliding down. After awhile, I heard her yell, "I did it!" She climbed all the way to the top and slid all the way down. She excitedly ran to climb up the steps and do it again the "right" way.

Then, today, she was climbing on all of the more difficult paths up the playground. She did the thing with swaying platforms where you move from platform to platform as well. All things that she would have refused to do two weeks ago.

It was always odd, because at 2yo she was sliding down a 20ft slide and climbing everything! Now I'm just hoping that it will continue and we'll be on to bigger and better things at WDW this year.

Well, I am off to change the laundry again. Have a great day everyone!

Well, I feel like I dropped off the face of the earth yesterday. I came home from church with a bad headache. I took tylenol and some caffeine and hoped for the best. By the time we ate Sunday linner, the headache was worse! I hid it as best I could since I had promised Leslie that she could help make the treat for our family movie night. We made our cake, cleaned up, and then gathered everyone together to watch Jungle Book. About 5 minutes into it, I knew that I wasn't going to make it! The migraine lights were flashing in my eyes, so I turned the kids over to Alan and was in bed by 6:30.

Usually, that does the trick for me. I am in a dark room with a cold washcloth over my eyes, but for some reason, it didn't really work last night. I was plagued with painful dreams all night. I would wake myself up crying. I haven't ever done that, so I don't know what's going on.

When I got up this morning, I could feel the headache still hovering behind my eyes. Took more tylenol and started the day off with a diet Coke. The pain hasn't completely gone away, yet, but it's manageable.

So, now I'm all caught up here, and should tackle the laundry.

Yep. But I haven't ever ordered any personalized pins. Something I was looking at the other day (messenger bag, I think) could have Jack on it but only 8 letters so my name wouldn't fit!:rotfl2:

Kristine - It is on Disney Shopping. Got to Collectibles, Pins, Personalized. :)

Glynis - That sounds awful! I hope you feel better soon! Can you take something stronger than Tylenol?

The housekeeper never did get here.:confused3 Since she is 2 hours late I am assuming she won't be here today. I called Momboss to let her know.

Princess and I made some lovely "place and bake" cookies. Now we are just kind of hanging out.:rolleyes1

Glynis - That sounds awful! I hope you feel better soon! Can you take something stronger than Tylenol?

I can't take anything stronger than Tylenol unfortunately. I don't have a protective lining on my new stomach, so Tylenol is the only thing recommended by doctor's, unless I get a prescription. Then, the only painkillers that I could take would be liquid, and can I tell you how foul they taste????

I take Tylenol and hope for the best. Sometimes Alan will massage my temples and that helps, but last night, it was just making me nauseous.

Tia - YAY for Terra!

Glynis - I hope you feel better soon!

Pants are relatively easy to hem, it's skirts that have a curve to them that are a pain!!! That's when I go to my sister! She loves to sew, and I don't. I figure I'm doing her a favor, letting her do what she likes, right?
:thumbsup2

Bernadette - That 10th Anniversary AK pin is cool! But it is a very low edition size. I hope you can find one!
I see they are coming out with about 9 different 4 pin sets that are $20 each. Hopefully people will buy those as traders! $5 per pin is better than $7, and no questions about authenticity. The Disney Store is really digging their heels in with their pins. None of them have been marked down since Christmas!
Should I be looking for 2? Can you buy AP pins on a child's pass?

Bernadette - Loving the report! Sounds like Joe had a great birthday!!
Thanks!

:woohoo: Congrats to Terra!

Emma was much braver younger too but then I think she got afraid of heights. Emma hated Soarin in 2006 but loved it last year and tried BTMRR last year for the first time and loved it. She still hasn't done Goofy's Barnstormer yet. She is not sure if she wants to do Everest or not.

:wizard: Hope you can get it to go completely away today!

Tammi - I sent you an email - just wanted to make sure you got it. :teeth:
I did. Thanks. I tried to reply to you several times but it didn't seem like it was going through. I apologize in advance if you get 10 or so replies.

Bernadette - You can buy 2 of each AP pin with each pass. :) So if you just HAPPENED to run across 2 of them I would be more than happy to take the extra one off your hands.;) I would think you could buy them with a child's AP. DS has an adult one now, and I don't think we ever bought extra AP pins when he had a child's AP so I can't say for certain. To be honest it depends on the CM ringing you up - some are more hard core than others!:rotfl2: Some of them ask to see my pass and get all official, others don't bat an eye or ask for my pass or anything.
Have you ever asked about other special merchandise for AP holders? Supposedly there are shirts and hats and stuff behind the counter at the Emporium (or not)! I can't remember where I read that now.
