DDA Chapter 3

I had my crisis at 20! Silly, hey? The other ones have never bothered me. I didn't like not being a teenager anymore. It meant I had to grow up & be responsible. :lmao: Yeah right! Like that will ever happen.

Are you sure we weren't separated at birth? 20 was my crisis too. No problems since :rotfl: :rotfl:

deb i forgot to tell you. my dad had all the childhood diseases and he is fine. he even had scarlet fever. he missed all of kindergarten but a few days because he was sick. after that he didnt miss a day of school. colby will be fine.

jen do get your self down about not have anyone look at it this way: they are stressing about weddings and kids and you get to enjoy no kids and no wedding stresses. i get upset about being lonely too and not having kids anytime soon but hey i get to spoil my "nieces" and "nephews" and send them back when they are bad:rotfl:

Thanks Karen. It's nice to know that sometimes it isn't too serious.

lindsay, elizabeth, and marci- i am trying to plan a trip up to dallas/plano area to visit my cousin(s) some time this spring/summer. my cousin is starting a new job within the next few weeks then she'll let me know a good time to come. lets plan something when i know i am coming

Our blog is updated, but more importantly......... I'm FINALLY done with my cruise scrapbook from 2006! :rotfl:

Here's a link if you want to see it. It isn't very long :). That link will be a slideshow, but you can pause it to scroll through if you prefer. It isn't much, but it's at least finally complete! ;)

Karen-sorry for your loss.

those of you that have traveled with small children before hpw many outfits did you take for a 8 day/7 night trip? I am working on my packing list.
I don't mind doing laundry at WDW. I welcome the nice quiet escape.;) I also know for us (DH doesn't travel well) that doing laundry is a whole lot easier than struggling with too many bags. Girls are actually very easy and August is easy too cause you know it going to be HOT. I bring a few rayon sun dresses for the girls. They will pack in a sandwich size ziplock .

ugh---just have to vent ..im sorry!
Why do Exs feel the need to try to make you feel bad and rub things in your face?!
Maybe he's wishing it was you and is sad that you are too smart for him.

How exciting. I want to live vicariously through you that week!
Me too! I know Emma & I will have a blast but someday I will take a solo trip!

Marci I was not aware that Scarlet fever could cause blindness :scared1: He seems to be doing better as he isn't complaining of a sore throat and the rash seems to be clearing. He does have a runny nose and slight cough now so I'm watching that.
I that is what Hellen Keller had but we have meds to bring the fever down. I think it was the fever that did it.

I was talking to another mom at ballet tonight. She has a 16yo dd who got in trouble over something. The car, the computer (except for homework), the tv, the video games, etc etc. were taken away from her for 2 months! Mom and Dad were very angry when they doled out the punishment and now fear they have been too harsh. But they can't go back, because what is that going to tell the dd? So they have come up with a work list.....things she can do around the house. If she does something on the list, she gets a day taken off her punishment. Kinda like time off for good behavior. :rotfl: I thought it was very creative. I love hearing how other parents handle things.
That is great. Thanks for sharing!

Hi guys! Would you believe that we've all been sick? I hear that's going around here and it hit us too. I think we were all on Paula's diet early in the week and then I got a really bad case of bronchitis. 24 hours on the medicine and I feel much better!
:wizard: Hope you're all an the mend now! Nice to see you.

so the girl ears are clear and their lungs are clear.

but since Olivia had a little bit of wheezing in Oct. and then a lot with this cold/bronchitis she had this past month the dr wants to put her on preventive astma meds twice a day breathing treatments till may.
Glad the girls are doing better. Hope the treatments work for Olivia.

Thanks, have any suggestions?
Have you tried a neti pot? I never have but some folks swear by them.

Jen check out this link, scroll towards the bottom. Look for "Who gets what".

Thanks! I haven't had a chance to read about it. So it looks like we'll get the $2,100. It doesn't say that both of have to be working.

Well, today is the big birthday outing for DS and his friends! I talked to his one friend's mom last night so at least 2 of the 3 boys are definitely going to be there. I think the 3rd one will be there, too, as long as the dad doesn't back out on dropping him off. The mom said if the dad wouldn't bring their DS that she would go get him and bring him herself, so we'll see.

I guess I need to decide if we are going to give DS his new Wii game today. He really isn't allowed to play video games during the week, so he would probably appreciate having it today! ;)
Hope DS has lots of fun today!

DH and I went to Cheesecake Factory last night with our really good friends. It was so much fun! We had a wait of about an hour and a half, so we spent part of that time cruising the mall next door, and just talking. Once we were seated, we ordered the hot spinach and cheese dip, and an order of buffalo blasts for appetizers. Very yummy!!!
Sounds like you had a great time!

I can't believe I am heading to WDW in 2 weeks!!!! Hopefully the 40th bday part won't put me over the edge :rotfl:
40 wasn't so bad. I thought 45 was harder but it really wasn't too bad. I'm sure you'll have a magical time!

We have to clean today....it's been put off to long:scared: and get Cassidy ready for her dance tonight....plans fell through for all of her friends to go as singles as one asked a boy (Sadie Hawkins dance) hopefully she'll still have fun.
Hope Cassidy has a great time! I'm sure she'll be beautiful!!!!!

I am getting a 10" vanilla cake with whipped cream frosting and strawberries & custard filling. I'll have it delivered to dinner at Citrico's on my actual birthday. I never saw any cakes from Cali Grill that impressed me, so I figured I'll stick to the GF bakery.
YUM! When we went for Joe's 3rd birthday I had Poly concierge arrange for a cake for the CP and I'm pretty sure it was from the GF and it was really good! We had a cake at Citrico's for our anniversary one year and it was beautiful and yummy too.

My appointment went well yesterday. The baby's heartbeat was strong, and I'm scheduled for an ultrasound in four weeks. I also gained five pounds! I think I ate a little too much birthday cake this week.
How exciting to hear the heartbeat!

We are on our way home:sad1: We got up this morning and loaded the van up and then hit the food court for breakfast. We had 9 CS and snack credits left going into today. After breakfast we made our way to DTD for some last minute things. We managed to use up all the snack credits by getting some make your rice crispy treats and Mickey head cookies- I'll use those as gifts for my daycare kids. We also got some sandwiches from Earl of Sandwich for the ride home. We plan to stop at the NC/VA border and then get up and finish tomorrow.

I'm trying to post the link to our photopass pics but I can't figure it out:confused3 Can someone tell me what to do?!? Please!
Maybe this will work:

My pictures from my trip with Joe are the first 300 or so (I"ve added some borders) and Robyn's are the last 350. They got some WONDERFUL photos! The BBB ones are beautiful and you can see that they had a great trip and that baby Lucy LOVES the characters. The photos of the girls in Tom's SSP Minnine dresses are adorable!!!! They got some great candid shots too.

Robyn-drive safe! Can't wait to see your photos too!

Elin - Your pictures make me miss Dl so much!!! How were the crowds while you were there?
