Speaking of meeting--it may be in my head, but i think i remember some DDAers talking about coming to the philly area---who was this and when are ya thinking? i was thinking i need to meet some more DDAers

I was talking about this but every time I turn around another weekend is filled up. I would love to do a Philly meet. Sometime in late June would probably work for me now. I could be in Suburban Station in Philly selling Girl Scout cookies tomorrow. But instead I am spending time with some of my volunteers.

It's an Amanda Bynes movie:

This modern retelling of the classic fairytale follows a beautiful college freshman as she pledges her late mother's once dignified sorority. But after discovering that today's sisterhood is not what it used to be, Sydney finds her new home away from home with seven outcasts. With the help of her socially challenged new friends, Sydney will take on the reigning campus queen to attempt to transform the school's misguided social hierarchy.

If I would still be taking classes and in the Marching Band at UCF I might have been in that movie. It was filmed on my College Alma Mater's campus and also at Rollins College in Florida.

I have yet to watch it but I definitely want to, then again it might make my Florida homesickness worse.

I always tend to get poor service and a lackluster meal, no matter when I go. BUT, as I said before, I have quite a few friends who really like it. It is one location the Singers tend to go after concerts too. I say go and use that coupon!

Thanks for all the compliments on the dress. I bought some ribbon tonight but didn't end up liking it together. I'll have to figure out something different tomorrow.

I am off to bed because we have Katrina's appointment early tomorrow for her wisdom teeth. I will need to get up so that I can get some paperwork together to do while I'm there with her. Last time with Becky it was at least an hour or so.

I think that I would shorten the dress into a top and make the straps from the fabric. If you are anything like me...and I know that you are...You will wear a top much more than a dress.

I saw it.....it must have been a direct to dvd movie. I thought it looked pretty good.

so Cassidy and I had fun watching 27 Dresses. We were the only ones in the theater until about 1 minute before the previews started. You know the commercials saying "silence is golden"? Welllllllllllllllllllllllll.......the first 2 ladies to come in to the theater caught me telling the empty theater "SO....shhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"

James Marsden is so dang cute!!! My first love is Andrew McCarthy....but if I was to go a bit younger I think he'd be my choice...but I'd have a run for my money as Cassidy is ga ga for him too.

27 Dresses is a chick flick movie...a bit predictable but most movies are anymore....I'd say it was made better by my date. The guy in the movie theater didn't seem bored.
