Ok, I sewed my first outfit for myself!
Actually, it only required one straight seam down the back as it came off the bolt like this. You just buy two inches more than across the chest. I was looking for anything with animal print and ran across this. They had about 4 or 5 other types. They also had shorter ones for little girls.
Becky, DD19, says that I have to have straps (and I agree - the disadvantage of not having much on top). I haven't decided whether I'm brave enough to wear it to Animal Kingdom or whether it will be my swimsuit cover for the pool and water parks.
Now for the question: What do I do for straps. The bottom doesn't need to be hemmed because it is a finished edge. However, I can cut some off the bottom to make the straps and then hem it. Or is there something else that I could do for straps?
