DDA Chapter 3

Um, maybe not. One year a bunch of us went to Knoebels, and we were all lined up sitting on a bench. I was by far the most palest one in the bunch. I can't even sit in the sun 20 minutes, because I start to burn.

Oh, please! I can out-pale you guys anytime! :rotfl2:

When I had my tonsils out, (at 30) the doctor told me he was sending them away to be studied, as he had never seen tonsils that big before.
Well then no wonder I was having so much trouble swallowing.

When I had mine out, the dentist asked to keep them to show his coleaques. He had never taken any that big in one piece.:confused3 :sad2:

Good morning :)

Jennifer how is your back today?

Good morning, DDA!

Jennifer - hope your back is feeling better today! :wizard:

it was very painful this AM thr whole lrfy side of my face was hurting. i felt like i had half a migrainw. needless to say i did not go to work. I saw the chriopractor arond 11 that helped. they said to ice it as much as possible
luckily Jeff id off today

Aw you're so sweet :goodvibes

Our weather is not good at the moment. We were getting snow, now it is sleeting. Hopefully the roads will be good to go before I leave for work tomorrow. I don't go in till noon, so all should be ok.

Ditto! :thumbsup2 (Janet always has the best "catch up" posts to copy! :goodvibes )

Hope those of you with bad weather are staying warm and toasty! I can hear the wind blowing away out there again. When you go into the bathroom in my building, it sounds like you're in the bowels of a ship, with all the creaking and moaning the building is doing in the wind!

Ok, I sewed my first outfit for myself! :lmao: Actually, it only required one straight seam down the back as it came off the bolt like this. You just buy two inches more than across the chest. I was looking for anything with animal print and ran across this. They had about 4 or 5 other types. They also had shorter ones for little girls.

Becky, DD19, says that I have to have straps (and I agree - the disadvantage of not having much on top). I haven't decided whether I'm brave enough to wear it to Animal Kingdom or whether it will be my swimsuit cover for the pool and water parks.

Now for the question: What do I do for straps. The bottom doesn't need to be hemmed because it is a finished edge. However, I can cut some off the bottom to make the straps and then hem it. Or is there something else that I could do for straps?
Great job, Vicki. I agree that it would make a good cover-up. :thumbsup2

things are horrendous here!!

We are not doing a lot of TS meals this trip. At the moment(this could always change :rotfl: )I am planning on booing CP for lunch, Tusker House for breakfast, & WCC for lunch. Plus we will be having dinner at Cape May with you & Bernadette & hopefully Jennifer!

Janet - SUNDAY! I'll set my alarm for 5:45 AM so I can be in place and coherent as soon as the Dining line opens! I'm not even calling for anything that hard to get.:rotfl2: The night we want to go to Le Cellier is more than 10 days into our trip, so I'll have to call back for that.
What TS are you booking?

Vicki you did a great job, love it!

Have any of you cruisers stayed in a category 6? Thoughts?
What Lindsay said! :teeth:
My only suggestion is to make sure you're on Deck 6 and not Deck 5...and from the looks of it you are looking at Deck 6. :teeth: The lifeboats are hung from 6 - so the ships a little bit larger there - thus making balconies a little larger. When you dock in Castaway Cay, you'll be facing the "exit" - if you're on the other side of the ship (Lindsay's side) you face the beaches. 5126 was our cabin on the cruise and it felt like they unloaded right under us at 6am but that is further back on the boat so it shouldn't be a problem.

Vicki that's a great outfit! Straps shouldn't be too hard to make - if not, I'm sure that someone sells premade adjustable straps that could be sewn on quite easily!

Chris - I like the signature! Deb did a great job!

Anne Marie sounds like you got some much needed sleep. Hope you are feeling better soon :wizard:

Jennifer glad the visit to the chiropractor helped some. Hope this is not ongoing for you :wizard:

Latest attempt! I don't like the circle - it looks like I have a shadow on the photo and there isn't one. Maybe I didn't make the picture big enough...
ETA: Yep, that's what I did. And one of the filmstrip pictures isn't large enough either...I need to use zoom more often!!!

Jennifer - I'm assuming that with that one tutorial site you gave us yesterday - where you can make your own post it note - that those are the techniques that I'd use to make a page edge "curl" and show the reverse side of the paper?

ETA: Janet - the paint bucket is the same tab as the gradiant tool. :teeth:

I have been messing around with photoshop today. I have had it forever & never really did anything with it other than editing pictures. So I read a little today & TA DA!
