I had a good nights sleep. Dana has gotten the kids out the door the last few days & that has been great. Today's plan is not to take any pain killers so I can drive again. Being stuck in the house is driving me batty!

So I had some awesome Pixie dust news yesterday. Our OB case manager has a grand baby who is getting close to a year old. They have 2 extra Graco bases that they had for her car and her sons car. She asked me yesterday if I could use them. She said she called Graco and they said they would fit any snugride car seat. I told her yes I could use them. She then told me she would buy one of my car seats if I bought the other. I just needed to pick out a car seat. Well the one I have picked out is a Graco snugride. I was so surprised. But it shows what great people I work with.

Jennifer - Hope the spaced out schedule gives you some pain relief. My right hip has decided to suddenly be out of whack so the hip pain is setting in every time I get up. Oh well, I'll take a few days/weeks of that versus last time's 3 months.

I think we're in the high 50s now. We made it to low 60s yesterday. I'm starting to pull out long sleeved shirts and jeans. I'm also struggling with what to pack for this weekend. The highs will be near 70, but lows could reach the 40s. Chris' Street Rod has no windows other than the windshield so I'm betting I'll be cold riding around with him in the evenings. I might have to break out my parka

Tia, I'm sorry about your hip too. Are you at 37 weeks yet? I just saw a program on TLC that 37 weeks is considered full term Of course 2 of my babies appeared before 37 weeks

I need to run out to pick up Nick at school. When I get home I need to finish cooking for this weekend. I still need to make meatloaf, shephard's pie, potato salad and sugar cookies. I did pick up a cheesecake sampler at BJ's today instead of birthday cake Yummy

We're hearing reports of a fire at Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World this morning. The Magic Kingdom attraction was evacuated first, which was then followed by the rest of Frontierland. There are no details as to the extent of the problem or the cause of the fire.
Update 9/15/10 at 1:55 pm: The ride is reopened, but still no details on the cause of the fire.

We will update this story as more details become available.

Jennifer - That's great for the car seats! I need to go out and make sure that the one I have is going to work okay. Mostly I need to make sure it will fit in my car backward.

Deb - I am 37 1/2 right now so we're good to go anytime. Just waiting for her to be ready herself. Yesterday I felt like it could be anytime, but today has been back to "normal" and feels like it could be another week. At this rate...who knows! I'm just glad that it looks like we'll make it past tomorrow so that Terra can go to her sibling birth class and tour at the hospital.

I'm trying to figure out if I can quickly pull together a dinner of food from The Flintstones. Terra and Phil have been talking about doing it for his birthday for awhile, but we weren't ever sure it would actually work for his birthday today. Of course, I also thought I'd have been luck googling ideas of food that are actually named on the show. Instead, I'm having to rely on my memory for various things Terra and Phil have mentioned. So far I've got brontosaurus burgers, cactus cooler, double rubble bubble cake (or something like that). I was also going to do some "dino eggs". Heck, that's probably good enough right there. Guess I'd better go boil some eggs and get to baking a cake!

So I started reading the 1st book in The Hunger Games...heard so many good things about from people here on the DIS. Daniel is reading it too. It is pretty fast paced & alittle more intense that I had thought but I cannot put it down!!!!
