I'm home. Sinus Infection. He gave me a Zpac. Hopefully I'll start feeling better by tomorrow. I'm heading for a nap now. I'm working tonight.

Beth since I can't decorate a cake to save my life and the stores want a fortune (no real bakieries here) we figured jumbo cupcakes with pink icing and cake picks for decoration.

Thats the thing, I think chocolate is more popular. My sister and I both like white cake with white icing. So I guess I will just make more chocolate then white, thanks.



Hope the doctor will give you an antibiotic and that you start feeling better soon.

Deb - Hope the meds kick it quickly for you!

Heidi - I think a 2 to 1 ratio would be okay. Most will go for chocolate, I'm sure, but many would probably enjoy either. The decorating sounds great to me.

Theresa - I hope that Abi is settling in and doing better soon.

I managed to survive the day. 7mo was clingy and 2yo was a yo-yo - great morning, TERRIBLE afternoon. After that, though we hit Chick fil A for dinner, stopped by Build a Bear to get Terra's cat repaired, grocery shopped and hit Target. I also tried to pick up Phil's paycheck, but the manager there tonight told me that she didn't see it and it looked like he had signed for it. I figured I must have just misunderstood what Phil said or misremembered when we talked about it. Turns out it was neither of those and there's no reason his check shouldn't have been there. So, hopefully in the morning we'll find out it was just a mistake and she missed seeing it. If not, we're out the money for a few days until they can get us a check. Not great considering payday was 3 days ago, but Labor Day delayed delivery. Hopefully tomorrow we'll found out there really wasn't an issue and be good to go. I'm just a little nervous knowing I'll be out paychecks for at least a month and since Deva is acting like she wants to come even earlier, maybe even more.

I think I'm starting to feel a bit better. My sinuses seem to be draining as my nose has been running like a faucet for the last 4 hours. I hope that means a better morning for me tomorrow. I'm glad that I went and got meds. I'm sure it would have kept getting worse otherwise.

You're so funny, Glynis! I should actually be able to take it easy come Friday, but until then I've got a field trip, 2 recruitment nights, dr appt, birth class for Terra and house cleaning to do. The good thing is that my little ones are covered as of the 27th so I'll have a few days totally off if Deva waits that long. Otherwise, if she comes early, I'll have extra alone time with my girls since the others won't come back until Oct 25.

I am having the devil of a time with Magical Express.

I arrive on the 1st on a flight out of Richmond.
Kathrin arrives on the 2nd on a flight out of Boston.
Bob and Kristin arrive on the 8th on a flight out of Richmond.
We all leave on the 10th on a flight to Richmond.

Is that so complicated?!?!?
The first set of paperwork they sent us had Bob and me arriving together on the 1st and there was no paperwork at all for the girls.

I have my original paperwork that has my vouchers (and extras for Bob, but he isn't on that flight).

Bob and Kristin finally got paperwork that is right for their flight on the 8th.

Kathrin has nothing. Not a darned thing. Is she going to be able to walk off her plane and onto a DME bus?? The CM I spoke to seems to think it is easy to do, but I thought you had to have a reservation. I can send her a luggage tag. Or two. I have LOTS of luggage tags!

I don't think she'll have much problem. If you've called and talked to them about the dates they should have them in the computer right even if the paperwork isn't reflecting it. Kathrin should be fine to go to the desk and get checked in for a bus. At the very least they should show her on your room reservation and having ME and then can just adjust the date. I've had multiple people and times before and though my papers weren't right we didn't have any bus issues. I've also changed things midweek without issue (it was easier to do it that way when Phil left early plus also did it when Rachel left early and I had to go back and forth with her since she was a minor). Hope it all gets straightened out!
