Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I finally got my test results back. All of my bloodwork was normal. They found a cyst on my ultrasound in my mid to lower abdomen. I have to have a cat scan done, luckily I could get in 1st thing tomorrow. I of course am thinking the worst. Plus I have to follow up with a specialist. I will definitely need surgery. Not exactly what I wanted to hear.

Bernadette- I hope you have a speedy recovery.

You are always in my prayers! I know it's hard, but try not to think about it now. Wait for the results of the CAT scan! In the meantime, know that the power of the DDA is behind you!

Becky - Good thoughts headed your way today. Kristin and I have both had cysts that did not require surgery. I hope that your tests come back with the best outcome.

Bernadette - How are you doing today?

Today is Kristin's 24th birthday. Where did those years go??

Good morning. :)

Welcome home, Glynis.

Bernadette - Continued :wizard: for improvement. I hope your pain is managable.

Becky - Good thought and prayers going your way!

Happy Birthday to Krisitn!

Good morning, DDA!

Elin - Happy birthday to Kristin!

I have to say, I don't find it encouraging when I'm up so late on the computer and then again so early that I have hardly any email messages, DDA messages or Facebook status updates to read in the morning. On the plus side, I finally finished the excel document for tracking Terra's school work that I have been contemplating for well over a year. I kept getting stuck on how to do certain formulas or carry out certain ideas and would go back to a database I had downloaded before. Of course, then I'd get frustrated because it wouldn't do things the way I wanted them done. But now I've figured it all out! I do have to say, I was quite proud of myself last night. :rotfl: Since as of this school year I am required to be able to show this information if it was ever requested, I'm just glad to have it done.

Becky-good luck today!:wizard::hug:

Deb-sounds like you had a fun time at US. Enjoy your Disney day! Hope your sinuses improve!:wizard:

Yesterday after the numbness wore off my foot felt like someone had attacked it with a chisel and hammer and skill saw....Dr said the numbness would last til about 2:30. He prescribed oxycodone-1 to 2 every 4 to 6 hours. He said I could take motrin in between if I needed it. I took 1 at 1pm before the numbness wore off completely. I soon discovered that was not enough as the foot was very painful so I took some motrin. Then I took 2 at 5pm. I hadn't been feeling great so I was only eating crackers and dry cereal. Then around 8pm I was feeling better so I ate a real meal-steak, mash pototatos and green beans. I took 2 more oxycodone at 9pm. By 10pm I was vomiting. I felt better for a while but got queasy again by 11pm. I wasn't sick again and managed to sleep OK. Surprisingly I wasn't really in any pain last night. I took just 1 oxycodone this morning and pain is manageable so far today. It hurts when I have to go to the bathroom.

I'm optomistic that the pain will be manageable given how it felt last night and so far this morning. Still very optomistic that it will be well worth it in the end!

Bernadette,
What a night you have had! Glad to hear you feel better this morning.:wizard:

Bernadette - Glad you are feeling better this morning after a rough night. I hope the pain continues to subside. :wizard:

Bernadette, if you continue having issues with nausea then ask the Dr. to call in something else for pain. If I take those I can't move my head without feeling HORRIBLE. Glad the procedure went well! Wishing you a speedy recovery! :wizard:

Kristine is having some complications. Please keep her in your thoughts/prayers today.

Becky, sending good thoughts to you for you CAT scan! :wizard:

Bernadette - Hopefully you'll do better today than yesterday. I've never taken those, so I can't sympathize. I'm too afraid I'll get addicted!

Elizabeth - keep us posted if you you hear anything further. Praying for you and Jenna, Kristine!

Thanks for the update, Elizabeth. We'll keep praying for Kristine, Jenna and all of them. :wizard:

Kristine,
:wizard: Keeping you & Jenna in my thoughts.

Becky - You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Bernadette - What a rough night! I hope that the pain stays manageable today!

Elizabeth - Thanks for relaying the message about Kristine!

Kristine - Praying as hard as I can for you and Jenna! We love you both!

Last night was so much fun! My sister and her kids, and me with my kids all went to my cousins house for a bbq/swim party. They had a pool put in at the beginning of spring, and wanted to have a cousins get together before school starts. It was so awesome! The kids all swam, and the grown ups got to visit! Talk about a perfect evening!!! I posted some pictures on facebook. I finally figured out how to upload from my droid! It was surprisingly easy!

Today we are running to the school to return our summer library books, and pick up the paperwork for reduced school lunch. After that, we are heading to my sister's house so my niece can work with Katie on her new full size violin. Katie was accepted into the Advanced orchestra for next school year, and she needs to work on shifting positions, etc. Should be a fun/frustrating morning for her!

After that, I get to try to talk my kids into A) cleaning their rooms and B) going through their school clothes to see what we need. Neither will be met with cheers and gladness!

Good luck with that! I can't even find cheers and gladness in myself to get moving on the dining room. Since Girl Scout stuff starts in about a week, it would be nice to actually know where my things for it are. Guess I'll get working during naptime since I finished my Excel project - no other ready excuses (at least for now ;) ).

Good luck to Katie! I hope that she finds the transition easier than expected.

All I know at this time is that Kristine is in labor and she is at the hospital. She is 29.5 weeks along. I am not sure if they can stop the labor or if they are going to go ahead and have her deliver. I will let you all know when I get more info. Keep those good thoughts coming!

Thanks for the update, Elizabeth!

Kristine - We're still praying!!!

Kristine will be in the hospital for at least the next 3 days. They are attempting to stop the labor and keep her blood sugar stabilized. They have given her steroids to mature the baby's lungs. So for now we just wait and hope for the best! :wizard:
