Good morning!! We are back from an awesome trip!

It was HOT!!! Tour groups were out in full force but none were rude or loud. All they did was mess up the fast past return times so good planning was in order. We had a great time at the DDA meet. The kids had so much fun playing & Dana & I enjoyed hanging out with everyone. :goodvibes

The Beach Club was great as always....I know I have said this before but THE friendliest CM's are to be found at the BC. Everyone was so sweet to us, talkative, & helpful. Love, love, love BC!!:lovestruc

We had our best meal at Tutto (OMG!) & our worst at Coral Reef (bad service & they changed the food). We got the kitchen sink at Beaches & Cream which we did not finish!:lmao:

I am going to try to catch up..I tried to post when I was away but my phone would not cooperate.

Happy moving day to the girls, Elin! I'm sure it will feel strange for a little while, but at least she's close.

Terry - Hope your headache is feeling better soon. :wizard:

Welcome home, Anne Marie! I'm glad you all had such a good time. Can't wait to hear and see more about it.

Tammi,
We looked for you at the pool but never saw you. One night I swam up to this lady who looked like you (I didn't have my glasses on so I was pretty much blind in there) anyway I come up to her & only when I am face to face with her I realized it was not you. She must have thought I was a weirdo. :lmao: We were in the pool every day of the trip except for 2 days.

So how did you like your cruise? Did you do a report yet?

Kristine,
Love the name & glad things are going well.

Tia,
Cool name! So many DDA baby girls coming! :goodvibes

Jennifer,
Hope you are feeling better with the morning sickness.

Good morning. :)

Elin - I'm sure Kristin is very excited though. Do you have all the help that you need?

Anne Marie - welcome home! We looked for you all too, but I guess our times at the pool never meshed. We swam on our arrival day (18th) and for a few hours in the afternoon on the 19th. We went over to DTD on the 20th before our departure. I've done day one of my trip report. I've been trying to get pictures organized before I do any more. I just got the pictures back from my water cameras so I should be able to add to the report this week. We had a great time!

We've had such a great weekend so far. Yesterday we cleaned, not fun but at least the house is tidy (well, as tidy as my house can be ) then we went to our favorite store, Walmart. ;) The kids' daycare is doing a service project. They've "adopted" a military person from our area who is serving overseas and they are sending a care package to him. So we picked up a bunch of stuff to add to it. Things like Gold Bond, shavers, cream, toothbrushes/paste, wipes, soap, shampoo, itunes GCs. They are going to write notes too. We also hit the grocery store and the library. Our area Agricultural Fair also started this weekend, so we went to that last night. The kids had a BLAST. They are used to the tame rides at WDW, but got their fill of real carnival rides last night. They also had fun petting all the cows, sheep, chickens, rabbits, etc. Nicholas even treated Alyssa and I to a DQ afterwords with the money I paid him for mowing our yard!

This afternoon is Nicholas' football season kick-off picnic. I can't believe practice starts tomorrow night, 3 nights a week for the next 5 weeks. There goes my summer break of not having anything to do!

I don't think I am going to have too difficult a time, but Bob is in bad shape. He has been moping around here for the past 2 days and I finally had to say to him this morning, "This day is not about you. It is about Kristin. Don't you dare ruin it for her!"

Let's see if it works....

Fathers do have that special bond with their daughters don't they???
I am so glad that Guenna lives close so we can see her and they can talk on the phone any time they want.:goodvibes:goodvibes

How sweet!!! Hope the weather cools down enough for the start of football.

Leaving soon to go to my MIL's. DH will bring the kids home but I will stay there. My SIL is going to bring me to the hospital in the morning and we have to be there at 6am. Their house is only about 10 minutes from the hospital. I have to say I'm a bit nervous but hopeful the results will be well worth it.

I've been uploading photos so I can work on those while I'm recovering.

Welcome home all!!

Tia- cute name....though I am still having trouble pronouncing it in my head:lmao:

On Friday we went to theSmithsonian's Natural History Museum and had a great time. But boy howdy does it get expensive to even get in to Washington, D.C.

Saturday Mark got a wild hair up his hiney to go to a light house....2 hours is a car to sit there and wait for them to go up and down the steep, gravelly incline. He did stop at another lighthouse on the way home but still. While at that second one a lady went by me and said "I feel your pain, I fell off my flip flop and sprained my ankle." Took all my power to not roll my eyes at her and calmly state that I was 5 months post surgery for 3 broken ankle bones...but thank you for the sympathy.

Bernadette - GOOD LUCK!!

Tammi - I love that Nicholas treated you all to DQ!

Welcome home, Anne Marie.

They are moved in and our house is nice and quiet. :teeth:

We're home, the bags are unpacked and the laundry is done. Unfortunately the alarm is set for the morning for work, :sad2:.

Bernadette - best wishes tomorrow

My shoulder did really well this trip, I was taking prednisone the entire time, and it's a good thing I did with the heat, we still ended up taking a cool off break everyday but that was fine.

Here are some pictures from our trip. I put some on FB as that is so much easier than dealing with photobucket.
