So my favorite cousin and a friend of hers are staying at my house the next two nights. They are in the U.P. on vacation. My sister was shocked and couldn't believe it didn't bother me. When she asked if she could stay there, I asked Chuck if he minded. He said he didn't. She was my matron of honor and is like an older sister. She has spent a lot of time at our house in the summers on her vacations. She usually ends up working on my garden. I know that my mother and other friends have said something like this to me in the past. Is this strange?
My brother woke up me nice and early and we went and did 45 minutes run/walking....now i can relax a bit!Welcome back Tammi!!!
Debbie - I hope you are having a good time, regardless of the crowds and the dirt!
Deb - Your relaxing way of doing Disney is inspiring. I don't think I could do it! Glad you enjoyed your date night!
Vickie - I would definitely be ok with it. Family is family. I think that as long as Chuck is ok with it, you shouldn't be too worried about what others say.
Today is another laundry day here. We are leaving for a week long camping trip to Bear Lake on Monday, so I need to get all the clothes cleaned and ready. We also need to get the trailer put up, to see if there are any repairs that need to be done before we leave. I'm making a ton of Chex Mix to take with us for the kids to snack on at the lake. I'll probably also make some cookies, and brownies to take along as well.
Tomorrow is a state holiday, so Alan is off. We are going to spend the day together, doing the food shopping for camp, and we'll also take in a movie and have lunch together. Should be fun! Although, Timothy is in the separation anxiety stage. He hates me to go even into the next room without him. He screams and cries and his face goes bright red. I really hate this stage! Luckily, it's summer, so I don't have to get a babysitter, as Katie is at home. She can get him calmed down pretty quickly.
Have a great day, everyone! I'm off to fold and put away a load!
Glynis have fun camping.
Thanks, Jen! I really enjoy this camping trip! The lake is so beautiful, and it's very peaceful for me! Now that I have older kids, I won't have to watch Timothy every minute! I'm stocking up on books to read, and just plan to relax, and apply sunscreen to kids at various times throughout the day.
Watch for pictures when I get back! It's a beautiful place!
ray, was also waiting for us. We had never had a car service before so it was fun going out of the airport on the OTHER side of baggage. All of our luggage fit (barely) into the Suburban, and we were off to Port Canaveral. There were 2 other ships besides ours at the port, Disney Wonder and Carnival Sensation. After departure we never saw the 2 again. After a smooth check in (and pictures) we went straight to the Windjammer for lunch (buffet). It was now around 1PM and we were all very hungry. The kids were very anxious to try out the pool and splash zone so we let them swim for awhile before the Sail Away party.
Anyway, after the show we strolled around the ship some more and then headed to bed since we had such a long day. Let me tell you, cruising with kids is a lot different than cruising without. No late night partying going on for us!
So I resorted to calling my DH a chicken on his facebook page and told him if he deleted it I was going to keep posting until he called the Dr and made his appointment with the Dr. to discuss having his Vasectomy done.
