They now have Disney Cruise Line themed Dooney and Burke bags.

Wow, love them.

Debbie,
I am squirming just reading your post...you poor thing...:hug::hug::hug:

Well I had my first MRI today, and hopefully it will be my last. It was extremely painful, they put my shoulder in a "holder" to keep me from moving it and positioned my arm in a painful position, and then crammed me in a small tunnel for about 15 minutes, I really wanted to have them take me out but I didn't want to have to start over. If I ever need another one on my upper body it will have to be in an open one.

Congrats on the trip Beth, our trips will overlap by one day. We're at OKW in July but we're going to give BC a try in November.

Thanks for the congrats!

I'm sorry that the MRI was so horrible.

Maybe we need a past disigners unit thread

Thanks, but really I was just having a pity party. I am doing much better today. I'm beginning to think it was the Zyrtec. I don't know if that is a possible side effect or if it was effecting my sleep which in turn effected me emotionally or if it's all coincidence. I didn't take a Zyrtec last night, and my allergy symptoms are getting bad again, but I feel like a different person (or should I say back to my normal self), and I didn't have all sorts of strange dreams all night like I have been.

September cannot come soon enough. I will definately be getting one of those bags even if it means I give up other things on the cruise. :woohoo:

I wondered how long it would take one of you to respond. Where is Stephanie?? :rotfl2:

Is there another allergy med that you can try? Those sound like some not desirable side effects

Debbie I hope that you can get your shoulder fixed soon. I know that you have been struggling with this for a while now.

Yesterday was a bright and sunny day. The temps only hit 60 degrees, but the sun was so warm that I was able to lay out on the deck and absorb some vitamin D :rolleyes1 This morning we woke up to snow on the cars

Today is the first day of April vacation for the boys. I don't think we'll do anything today with the cold, snow/rain. Chris is also home sick.

Nick and Hunter both made honor roll, but not high honors this time. Oh well, they still did well. I had Colby's conference yesterday afternoon and I actually think it went well. She does understand that a side effect of the med that he is on is the lack of desire to eat during the day. I assured her that he eats when he gets home. I also explained that he has the genetics to be morbidly obese like Chris' entire family and I do mean 100% of Chris' family. She now has an entirely different view of things. We also talked about ways she can accomodate Colby in the classroom. She has been complaining for the last 2 years about him chatting with his neighbors, yet it never dawned on her to move him to a desk or table by himself when he needs to focus  We also talked about using a timer so that he can see that an end is in sight when he needs to focus. (we use that technique with some of the special needs kids that I have worked with) I'm hoping that these small changes will be a big help to him. He is already ahead of his grade level in math so we really are focusing on reading and writing now. He will continue with one on one speech as he already has an IEP for that.

Good morning, DDA!

Debbie - Ouch on that MRI! I hope there's no need to repeat that again. :wizard: that there's a cancellation and you can get in sooner.

Deb - Glad the conference went well! Sounds like you've got some good plans in the works. I hope Chris is feeling better and that you get some good weather for vacation week.

Beth - Good to see you having a chance to post more! I hope the allergies clear up or you can find a more cooperative medicine.

Tammi - Yeah for Nicholas' game!

Becky - I'm sorry for your family's loss, but sometimes the togetherness it brings is nice.

We've got a (hopefully) quieter day today. Only the baby today and she's been asleep since she got here. At noon, Terra has her first day of soccer, assuming that it doesn't decide to start raining. Luckily, this is supposed to be the beginning of some more normal temps. We've been hovering in the mid to upper 80s every day for over a week. I'm so not ready to be pregnant in summer. I did find a pair of shorts yesterday, finally, so I'm a little happier. Now to just find one or two more so that I'm not stuck in jeans on laundry day. ;)

Well, I've got a baby calling to me now so I guess I'd better run! Happy Friday everyone!

I'm trying the Claritin again. It didn't really do much for me in the past, but I'm giving it a little more time to build up in my system and see what happens.

I read somewhere this morning that the first permanent resident of AK was a 1.5 year old giraffe named Miles. My Miles was thrilled by that.

I am quivering, crying mess of a human right now....

seems Jim called the wrong number...or didn't call at all and I got a personal visit this morning from a gentleman telling me that they have started the eviction process. I have nowhere to go, no money to go anywhere, no job, no nothing.

I am hoping I can get things together so that I can get us out by next Thursday...than at least they will give us a little bit of relocation money.

The good news is that I can walk on my ankle.
