Good Morning

I don't have to work today Last night was super busy for the bar and I was alone more than 1/2 the night which made things interesting. I get to enjoy the day. My only must do is Colby's conference.

Chris thinks he has Hunter's tummy bug so I expect him home from work any time now. I hope that I don't catch it.

Thanks for being excited for me, everyone! I am so happy to be able to go to WDW again.

Nicholas had his first soccer game of the season tonight. They won, 4-1, which surprised him, because he kept saying the boys on his team aren't very good. They all looked pretty good to me!

Sounds great except that we'll just miss you. We go home 7/27.

Have you play with the Disney math to see if it might be worth it for one of you (you of course) to get an annual pass? You would save over $100 on the hotel-40% AP discount vs 35% you have, you would get free parking if you went to a Disney park your first week, you could buy the Tables in Wonderland for 20% discount on most table service meals and a few counter service ones too. Just something to play with.....

I'm sorry we'll miss you! I know there are a lot of DDA trips in July, but we had to work around 5 schedules plus availability of the time share.

We'll be in Orlando some of the same time. We get back from our cruise on July 31 and head home on Aug 6.

For some reason, I thought that your trip was earlier. That's cool!

Morning! It's going to be a busy weekend for us, starting today! My brother and his family are going to be here tonight through Sunday!! His little boy, Shaun, was born 9 days after the twins, so we're going to celebrate that, plus the 3 of them are all going to be baptized on Saturday. My sister and her family are coming, and my dad is also going to be there, along with all of Alan's family! We are having a barbecue with my side of the family tomorrow night, and a huge party after the baptism on Saturday! Quite an exciting time for us and those 3 little kids!!!

So, if I'm not on as much as I usually am, you'll know not to worry.

By the way, I've posted new pictures of Timothy on facebook. He's a little ham!

I ordered photo books for my mom & MIL for Mother's Day. I put together pictures of the cruise & wdw & am pretty happy with it. This is the first time doing it so I hope it looks nice. I have no idea what to get the moms so this seemed like a nice gift especially that they do not see the kids much anymore.

Snapfish is offering buy one get one free on the classic photo books. Code MOMLOVE. So of course I got one for me too.

Walgreens is also offering a discount now but I do not like how my Walgreens prints stuff (too dark) so I went with snapfish.

I have been happy with Snapfish. I think that I prefer the quality of Kodak Gallery slightly, but I get better deals with Snapfish, so I use them, too. I received the e-mail about the buy one, get one for Mother's Day, and I need to decide soon if I want to do that. I did just get one done with the $10 sale for Snappy's 10th birthday (with tax/shipping it was just over $18 which doesn't sound quite as good as $10).

So long as he's happy. I guess we should be glad that he's doing something he's more comfortable with. But seriously, he was the "Tim Gunn" of Food Network... there's a big shoe for her to fill. I have yet to see her host; I'll have to DVR a show and see.

You know... I can't tell if he sounds happy in that interview or not! But I can tell you one thing... I cannot STAND her. The entire feel of the show has changed and her voice just grates on my nerves. I bet she won't last there.

I thought it was just us, because we are all a bit resistant to change around here. We were not happy with the two episodes that we have seen.

I just noticed this, but what happened to our birthday thread? If the new designers wanted a birthday thread that's fine, but couldn't they add to ours? Or if they wanted their own, did they need to have our birthday thread deleted? After all, we are the founding DDA members, and we've just been erased.

Well I had my first MRI today, and hopefully it will be my last. It was extremely painful, they put my shoulder in a "holder" to keep me from moving it and positioned my arm in a painful position, and then crammed me in a small tunnel for about 15 minutes, I really wanted to have them take me out but I didn't want to have to start over. If I ever need another one on my upper body it will have to be in an open one.

Congrats on the trip Beth, our trips will overlap by one day. We're at OKW in July but we're going to give BC a try in November.

I know that the Boards in general are going through lots of changes right now. They are putting time limits on how long you can keep a dining trip report open before it is locked, stuff like that. I bet a moderator cleaned house and deleted any threads that appeared to be "unused."

I know wendypooh and she is a very nice person. In fact, she came over to this Board because I told her about it. She has posted a couple of times on the DDA thread but cannot keep up with us!

If she started the new thread for DDA and DISigner birthdays it will be fine. I honestly do not believe the DISigners had any ulterior motive in setting up the new birthday thread. just my opinion, though...

I am sorry it was so painful for you, Debbie. I hope they can find out how to help you as a result of the MRI, though.

I hope you are all doing well. I have had an on and off headache for a few days, my allergies are a mess, and I klunked my head getting off the train at Hersheypark on Sunday.

I don't think I posted this if I did I apologize. I had a crazy busy weekend with family from around the country for my Great Uncle's funeral. They were from CA, NY, MA, NH, ME, IL, KY, WV, TN and I am sure I am missing a place or two. We had a great time together but why does it take a funeral to bring everyone together?

They now have Disney Cruise Line themed Dooney and Burke bags.

Thanks, Elin. I agree with you on all accounts...I was just feeling a little sensitive about it when I noticed. It's almost like I never existed on the board as a designer. I shouldn't feel that way, since I don't actually design anymore. It's just me being silly again.

September cannot come soon enough. I will definately be getting one of those bags even if it means I give up other things on the cruise.

I'm sure there wasn't, but it just would have been nice to leave our sticky there and lock it. I posted on that thread inquiring and she gave a good explanation of why.

When will you get the results?

The doctor I chose is very good, unfortunately because of that he is also very busy, my followup isn't until the 30th. I'm hoping he has a cancellation before then.

The MRI was just to rule out a rotator cuff tear, the surgery is pretty much a done deal, and after yesterday I'm definitely ready.
