I am not certain what I am doing differently but I am getting PIN code emails from WDW out the wazoo these days. Too bad I cannot see my way clear to use one this summer!

I've been getting them too!! Wonder what "cookie" Disney has put on my computer to know that I can't come right now? I'm glad the girls enjoyed the dessert buffet. That's one thing I'm really hoping will stick around through next year so that we can go!


Beth - I'm sure Laura will do great! Best of luck to her. Enjoy your lunch together.

Tammi - Enjoy their visit. How nice that it conincides with Mom's day at school. The kids must be thrilled to have you both there.

Well, I'm going to head to bed and hope to sleep away my crappy day. Of course, it was highlighted by a wonderful night of bowling with Terra so at least it had it's highlights. Mostly, though, it was just annoying peppered with my crabbiness and my frustration with a certain sister (and not the one it usually is, just the other one it sometimes is). Guess mostly I'm just feeling under appreciated, which tends to happen from time to time, but I never feel like saying anything (other than to Mom who might say something and might not) because I don't want to cause more issues. Argh. Gotta love family life sometimes.

Oh no -- I hope today is a better day.

And then sometimes God likes to show me that my problems are really nothing.

I just got another update from Jennifer...

Good morning.

Today is our Mornings with Moms at school, so my mom and I will be heading over there in a little while. Then I think we will be off to do some shopping.

Laura just left for her US History AP. Her English teacher told the class not to come in today, since all but one are taking the US History AP today. She has lunch as soon as the test is done and then English right after that, so I am going to pick her up for lunch today. I hope she does well. She was all over the place on the practice tests.

Thanks for the good luck for Laura. Honestly, what's the worst that could happen? She gets a 1 on the exam. Life won't be over. She isn't looking at the most competitive colleges, so it probably won't hurt her too badly there either. It will be nice to have lunch with just her. (Miles wasn't happy, though...guess I'll have to plan something with him soon.)

I am sitting here pretty numb, I am trying not to cry right now as the girls are up. I don't want to upset them. Espically Olivia. She told me yesterday to tell the Drs. to move her PaPa to a different floor so she could go see him.

We've decided to let DS go ahead and take a stab at 3 pre-AP classes next year. Hopefully he will rise to the challenge. Today was the deadline to submit any requests for changes. We were supposed to get his course recommendations last week, but they never came. I called the school Monday and the counselor e-mailed them to me. YESTERDAY the hard copies finally arrived. Postmarked April 27 on the front, and marked May 5 on the back. I HATE our mail. I have no clue where those papers were for the past week.

I had a nice lunch with Laura. Two AP exams down and three to go. Then she'll have a month to relax a little before Regents exams. She is also retaking the SAT in there. Ugh, testing! She said that she thinks she did ok on today's test.

Elin, I hope the girls have a great trip! I'm glad that they liked the Wishes dessert buffet. We looked into it, but it just seemed too expensive for our family of 5 "adults." Maybe someday... I am thinking of booking three of us on Keys to the Kingdom. I already have dh and the older two scheduled for the Around the World Segway tour. I haven't done Keys to the Kingdom, because I don't know about having two things that Miles can't do, but he and dh could have some good time together. I'll have to see where it would logically fit into our plans and then see if there is any availability.

Jennifer - I'm so sorry that things are not good with your dad. He is in my prayers, as are you and your family! Please know that I am with you in spirit.

Tammi - Tell Alyssa how proud I am of her! This is a big thing! How wonderful that your parents are here to share in it with her!

Beth - Yikes! All those AP tests would drive me nuts! Tell Laura congrats from me!

Elin - Glad the girls are having a good time! Wish I could experience all of it! Someday!

Tia - Sorry your day, yesterday, wasn't so good! It's not a good feeling to do as much as you do, and not be appreciated! I hope your Mother's Day is wonderful, to offset yesterday!

Today was the last day of bowling for my league. We had a fun bowl day! It was awesome! We laughed, visited, bowled and ate! Great fun!!!

Other than that, things here are just the same as always! Planning for our trip in 3 weeks, and that's driving both Alan and me crazy! Oh well. Hopefully the memories will be good ones!

Thanks for all the congratulations for Alyssa. She is very excited, and tomorrow is going to be such a busy day.

First she has dance portraits at her dance studio at 9AM. Nicholas has a soccer game at 9:30 that Bob and my dad are taking him to. Then Alyssa has a hair appt at 11, Mass at 1:30, a portrait session of her in her dress and veil at 3:30 and dinner at the Melting Pot (her choice) to celebrate.
