I know! I have to resist the urge to run over there. :rotfl:

They arrived early, got right on ME and their room was ready at Pop when they checked in at 9:30. They are in the 90s area so it is a long walk. But they are young!!
I think I will have to go over there tomorrow!

Where are they eating tonight?

Beth - congratulations to Laura!!! The next week or so will be busy for you, but after that you should be on summer vacation!!!!

Good morning, DDA!

I never made it back the last day or so to respond so hopefully I can remember what I was going to say.

Elizabeth - Good luck with the neighbors. I hope things settle down!

Deb - Congrats to Hunter on his goal! I hope Colby is recovered and the tooth pulling goes okay. Good luck with the rooster.

Debbie - I'm glad you've got your surgery set. I'm sure you'll be ready to go for your trip!

Theresa - I'm glad that you got moved out okay and feel a peace about the situation. Good luck with the big move. I know it's best for you all.

Bernadette - I hope you're having a great trip!!

Tammi - Have a nice time at your parents'.

Glynis - I'm glad you had a nice trip with Alan.

Elin - I hope the girls have a great time!!!

Beth - Congrats to Laura and YEAH for having Matthew home!

Deb,,,,hate to break the news but when the rooster gets to crowing, the sound carries forever:headache: Our one neighbor has a rooster and now has two peacocks!!! :headache::headache: Between them and the wind chimes, there is a lot of noise coming from his house. I thankfully don't hear any of it because I use ear plugs at night. Who knew peacocks could be so noisey and they can fly too!!! :lmao:

I knew that peacocks were noisy as there used to a flocks of them at Fort Wilderness. They had to move them because they are noisy and are a nuscience bird. They would peck at people's campers.

Beth it's great that Matthew is home and fabulous that Laura made National Honor Society. I remember when I made it:goodvibes

Elin I'm glad K and friend made it safely. I'm sure they are living it up now.

Colby's extraction went well. I cannot believe the amount of novacaine they gave him though :headache: First they filled a cavity then did the extraction. I swore that they were extracting 2, but it was only 1. He is still bleeding, but otherwise he's fine.

Jennifer just messaged me that her mom called and they are getting ready to start the milder of the two chemo options on her dad. I don't have anymore details on the length, etc, but the lung doctor said that it may be the only thing that can save his life.

Thanks for the congrats for Laura. She was happy that she made it. It seemed like a much more arduous process than when I did it (a lot of years ago). She had to not only list all of her service work and leadership but also have someone in charge of the group sign it.

I realized at the preschool Mother's Day tea today that I am closer in age to some of the GRANDMOTHERS than the mothers. That made me a bit :scared1:. I thought maternal age was increasing, but we must have a group of fairly young mothers. Yeah, that's it...they are young mothers and grandmothers. ;)

Thanks for the information. Prayers going up, now!

They ate at Yak & Yeti for lunch around 1:30. I don't know what they had planned for dinner, but they are at the Wishes Dessert Buffet as we speak!

Is tomorrow your Saturday or Sunday? Are your parents still here?

The latest update from Jennifer:

"dad looks bad did not tolerate the chemo had very difficult time breathing"

Lots of prayers for you all, Jennifer. :grouphug: :wizard:

Well, I'm going to head to bed and hope to sleep away my crappy day. Of course, it was highlighted by a wonderful night of bowling with Terra so at least it had it's highlights. Mostly, though, it was just annoying peppered with my crabbiness and my frustration with a certain sister (and not the one it usually is, just the other one it sometimes is). Guess mostly I'm just feeling under appreciated, which tends to happen from time to time, but I never feel like saying anything (other than to Mom who might say something and might not) because I don't want to cause more issues. Argh. Gotta love family life sometimes.

And then sometimes God likes to show me that my problems are really nothing.:guilty:

I just got another update from Jennifer...

"the cancer is stage 4 his breathing is so bad they have him on a bi map machine"

Sounds yummy. I want to live vicariously through you through them!

It's Saturday for me, and yes my parents are still here. Alyssa has her 1st Communion tomorrow, so that's why they came down. I think they are staying through Monday.

Good morning. :)

Today is our Mornings with Moms at school, so my mom and I will be heading over there in a little while. Then I think we will be off to do some shopping.

Tia, I'm sorry you had a rough day.

Jennifer, I am so sorry. I will continue to pray for your dad and your family.

Congratulations to Alyssa!

Laura just left for her US History AP. Her English teacher told the class not to come in today, since all but one are taking the US History AP today. She has lunch as soon as the test is done and then English right after that, so I am going to pick her up for lunch today. I hope she does well. She was all over the place on the practice tests.

Jennifer - I hope your Dad is more comfortable this morning.

Tia - for your crappy day. I hope it is better today.

Tammi -:yay: for Alyssa's big day tomorrow. And how nice to have your parents here to celebrate with you. My parents used to come to everything the girls did too. :goodvibes

Since I have a $30 coupon I may just have to give in and check out our Coldwater Creek today!

Beth -I am fairly certain that Laura will be fine on her AP test today.

I got a text from Kristin in the middle of the Dessert Buffet that said the whole thing was "Soooooooo Coooool!" :rotfl: I am glad I booked it for them!
