Have a great trip Elin.
Hope you have a wonderful time Elin!
Sounds like you and I are on the same page, Deb. Cruisecritic has become my friend.I'm torn between 2 dolphin swims in Cozumel (Dolphinaris and Dolphin Discovery). I'm also reading a lot of reviews about a private tour company in Ocho Rios. If I can find reliable tours/excursions that are NOT offered through the ship, I would rather book those and save some $$$.

I hear you. I've already booked Victor Bodden Tours in Roatan, Honduras for a zip line canopy tour, monkey experience, glass bottom boat with snorkeling.
We're looking at Native Choice for their ruins tour with an afternoon at a private Lagoon in Costa Maya.
The boys want to go to Paradise Beach in Cozumel. We've talked about the dolphin experiences, but they weren't overly excited and my Mom is a non swimmer. She'll wade in the ocean, but I'm sure she wouldn't get into deep water with dolphins. This is the link to Paradise Beach

I've been on cc a lot lately too, researching our ports for Randy's birthday cruise and just learning more about the X line.
Deb -- we've been to Paradise Beach and loved it. Get there early so you have a front row view. We had drinks, and chips and guac (I know, they say to be careful of food in Mexico, but we had heard that people that ate there weren't getting sick) and they were very good.
Ugh, I can't sleep. I had a run in with my boss last night over working Mother's Day. Needless to say he is an idiot and has a very warped scheduling system. He calls it seniority. Unfortunately I've been there 18 years and I'm at the bottom of the list because I have only waitressed the last several years and apparently all those previous years of service aren't important in his eyes. He has zero waitstaff that wants to work Mother's Day and he can't seem to understand why. I think we have all determined that we have lives outside of the restaurant and since the money isn't there now, we'd rather spend time with family then at a restaurant not making money. I've worked many Mother's Days in so many different capacities. At one point I can remember making $300 by working a double on mother's day and now it will be amazing if anyone walks away with over $100. Furthermore I worked on Easter which was "mandatory" yet not everyone had to work. I told him those people should be up first, but he thinks that is ridiculousIf it wasn't for our extended summer vacation I would start actively looking for a new job now instead of in August. Maybe I should look anyway and just tell a prospective employer that I will be unavaible for 23 days this summer? Then I would still have the issue of Nick graduating on a Monday and Colby's dental surgery and Hunter's MRI. Why does life have to be so complicated.
Sounds cool!!!!Good morning.
The kids and I went to see the Kenny Chesney 3D concert last night. It was amazing. What a concept, to put together a movie of your tour, in 3D no less, and show it in theater for people who can't get tickets, can't afford tickets, or don't like the crowded concert scene. Brilliant! The 3D made it so believable, like you were really there.
