My dad applied online for a p/t bus driver position at WDW! I can't believe it! I wonder if he'll go if his application gets accepted?!

Well they lymph node isn't nearly as sore today. It still feels inflammed, but didn't hurt when it hit the pillow this morning. Last night I couldn't lay my head down on that side. Maybe it's clearing up on it's own I also noticed some sinus stuff when I laid down last night so maybe the 2 go hand in hand. The weird thing is that I feel fine and have ambition to get things done around here

I'm anxious to hear if he even gets an interview! He's had a PA CDL for years so I know he has the qualifications. And each time we go down there he talks about it. My mom and I tease him that he would get fired after the first day, because he doesn't tolerate people well.

Yesterday I was reading on the DIS about someone who got an email from Disney that they were taking applications. She posted a link to it, and said her DH got an interview. So I forwarded the link to my dad, not really thinking that he would actually do it! Imagine my surprise when he then forwarded me the auto reply he got from Disney that they received his application!

His biggest hang-up is having 2 homes. I think the logistics of being a snowbird have him confused.

I am still hanging in but no bites on the job front. I really miss not having lunch with Stephanie and talking about our cruise which is coming up in 150 days!!!!!!

Right now I am having inner ear problems. I have been getting very dizzy feeling like I tied one over when I sit or lay down. I went to the Dr and got some medicine which makes me very tired. Hal has been fantastic and making supper at night for us. I just hope this goes away soon.

Right now I am having inner ear problems. I have been getting very dizzy feeling like I tied one over when I sit or lay down. I went to the Dr and got some medicine which makes me very tired. Hal has been fantastic and making supper at night for us. I just hope this goes away soon.

I hope the medicine quickly starts doing more than making you tired! That doesn't sound like fun to deal with. Lots of on the job front as well.

I had a great week-end. My favorite cousin was here. She helped me decorate my apartment. I went for a relaxing beach theme. It looks pretty cool. She was appalled by my bare walls. She is the cousin that did my landscaping at the house. She is very artistic (so much unlike me). Our moms are sisters. We spent a lot of time together growing up.

Her son also lives in Lansing. I knew he must be close. He is exactly 2.69 miles from my apartment. He is 26 and a very independent individual. He is one of my girls favorite cousins. They spent a lot of time together with my mom & Aunt Lola when they were growing up. I love him dearly but didn't want to interfere with his life. He invited me to go to Sunday morning breakfast with him sometime in a nearby restaurant. I'm hoping that we'll see more of each other now.

I'll post some pictures eventually of the apartment and Disney. I'm working on getting my Disney pictures on Facebook. I'll get some on photobucket after that so I can post here. However, my family and other friends are waiting for the Disney pictures so I need to get them on Facebook first.

Well, to be honest, I didn't really check my contract to see if I was allowed to add stuff to the walls or not. I just know that when I lived here 12 years ago, they had stuff on the walls.

Good Morning

To Terry and Theresa on the job front This is such a tough economy to be searching for a job. I will be looking in August and I am already dreading it.

To anyone not feeling well. It seems that the hot cold extreme weather has fostered a new round of sickness in our area.

I'm head is feeling much better though the node isn't completely back to normal. It does make me wonder what virus or other illness is brewing in my body

I need to get a load of laundry going then we'll start on Hunter's room. His is the last bedroom to deep clean this week. I still have plenty more to do around the house, but at least the bedrooms will look orderly.
