The boys went off to play tennis before it gets too hot..going to be in the mid 90's today. We will be taking Daniel out for his birthday dinner..he chose Japanese food so we found a place like Teppen Edo where they cook your food in front of you. He is having his friend/movie party next week when the Karate Kid comes out....we would have done it today but there are no good movies out this weekend.

Have a great Saturday!:)

I have a feeling there is a trip to Universal in our future. We have never been and have never had any desire to go. But I think the lure of Harry and his World may call to Kristin.
I'm planning an overnighter for our first night in December. Flying down going straight to US, staying there the first night and then going over to WDW late the 2nd night. That will give us 2 days at US/IOA, midweek, in cooler weather!

You know now that you made me stop and think (hehe) progressive. He said they would be very easy adjusting too.

Heidi - did you get trifocals or progressive lenses? I have had my progressives for 15 years and never had a problem adjusting.

 :cool1: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :cheer2:

So I had a Drs. appointment today, Jeff and the girls were originally not going to go. But we decided to go ahead and tell my mom today as the nausea is getting hard to hide. Was concerned Olivia would say something about my upset tummy. So we told Olivia this morning about the baby and we all went to the Drs. appt. Can I just say God must really have a sense of humor. We saw 2 heartbeats and 2 separate sacs.

I'm so glad you all are excited about the twins. I am so NOT yet excited about them. All I keep thinking is oh c-r-a-p

I'm very sorry to hear you say that. :sad1: I'm sure there is a loving adoptive family out there that would welcome them, if that is something that you choose.

I'm sure once the shock wears off I will get excited, but right now I'm still coping with the shock of the pregnancy and then the shock of twins.

I guess I should have put yet in their. I am at work and was typing this when I had to go do something.

Good morning. :)

Nicholas has potentially 2 soccers games today. The first is a semi finals game at 11:30. If they win that they plan in the final at 2. Those boys are going to be so HOT. It's supposed to be in the low 90s. Heck, I'm going to be hot just sitting there watching.

Good luck to them! I hope that the heat isn't too bad.

I'm sure once the shock wears off I will get excited, but right now I'm still coping with the shock of the pregnancy and then the shock of twins.

I'm sure that's it, Jennifer! The twins news came pretty close to the big shock of being pregnant at all. Combine that with everything else that's been going on lately it's all a bit overwhelming, I'm sure. In the end, I know that it will all work out wonderfully!

Well, we are home from the girls' recital. Everyone did a great job! Some random dad even stopped Rachel to tell her how she really stuck out in her group with both her smile and dancing well.

I, on the other hand, almost didn't survive it! I was the backstage mom for Terra's class and it was SO hot. The room we're normally in was under construction so we were supposed to be in the school's commons. We get there and the commons has no A/C. The janitor called the school district to turn in on but that and the cool-down would take time. So, we set up the kids in the hallway instead. It wasn't bad at first, but then all of those bodies in an area no heavily vented got REALLY hot. I thought that I was going to die by the time we left.

On the way home, I decided that it was definitely time for ice cream. Who cares if we hadn't eaten lunch yet. Now I'm hoping Kristi gets here soon so that we can go swimming. Of course, I don't know what I'm going to wear to go swimming, but what does that matter.

thanks Tia

I'm with you on that one! The lure is definitely too strong for me. We'll be going in the next year or so.

Congratulations!! Congratulations!!:goodvibes:goodvibes

Yikes, this is during the time we were at SSR last year. :scared1: Of course stealing my CC# wouldn't do a thief a bit of good. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm celebrating my 28th wedding anniversary alone. We were supposed to meet at my mom's for the week-end but Chuck got crazy busy with work. We are going to have a long week-end camping next week instead.

Jennifer, with everything that you have going on, it isn't surprising that you are still in shock and not excited yet. Once things settle down, I'm sure you'll be thrilled.

Jennifer - I hope the shock wears off soon, and that you are able to enjoy this pregnancy and look forward to your little bundles of joy.

Vicki - I'm so sorry you are spending your anniversary alone. Hopefully you and Chuck will have a fun time camping to make up for it.

I'm so glad you all are excited about the twins. I am so NOT yet excited about them. All I keep thinking is oh c-r-a-p

I have been thinking of you all day. I would have loved to have had twins with my first pregnancy or even my second, but by the third I would have needed some adjustment too. Do you have room in your house for 2 more? I can put this into perspective for you though, my third pregnancy ended in a miscarriage which was devastating in and of itself, but they also told me that it looked like I miscarried twins. That was incredible hard to deal with. Remember that being sick usually means a healthy strong pregnancy

Happy Anniversary. I'm so sorry that you didn't get to spend it together.

I managed to get all of my projects done that I took along camping. I've got 4 t-shirts ready to tie dye, Nick's party invites made out and Colby's pants shortened. We also played mini golf, shuffleboard and spent 2 hours at the pool. We had a few showers, but at least it wasn't a wash out.

My Dad fell out of my brother's camper before we arrived yesterday and he is in tremendous pain. I think he'll need to go to the doctor's when we get home tomorrow. I think I'll probably have to drive his truck and camper home tomorrow. I hope he heals before our trip.
