Please add our family friend Nadine to your prayers, she lost her husband about a year ago, and was in Birmingham last weekend for her MIL's funeral when her 48 year old SIL had a massive heart attack, her sister was with her visiting him in the hospital, they went back to her daughter's house for a rest, her sister said she wasn't feeling well and laid down on the couch, she had a heart attack and died, that same afternoon her SIL also died. So she has now lost her husband, MIL, sister and SIL, I don't know how they are going to manage but my heart breaks for them.

She will definitely be in our prayers. What a horrible run of events. :grouphug:

New restaurant in Mexico. (from the DIS home page)

New restaurant for Epcot's Mexico pavilion

Visitors to Epcot's World Showcase will have a new dining option in the Mexico pavilion this fall. Cantina de San Angel, Mexico's quick-service restaurant, is being torn down to make way for a new, larger venue. The new 12,000-square-foot waterside restaurant will have 400 seats and will offer table service as well as counter service. The current restaurant is much smaller, at 3,500-square-feet and only offering 288 seats. The new venue is expected to be completed by the fall.

Wonder what kind of Illuminations seating this might offer now?

Gary is being stubborn & will not have his foot/ankle checked out. It is swollen very bad & I think is more than a sprain. He can wiggle his toes so I guess that means it is not broken???????

It's been what, a week almost? I would definitely keep trying to get him to the doctor. That doesn't sound very good. A bad sprain can be even worse than a break sometimes so an air-case or brace might be needed.

Well, birthday, part 2 didn't really go as planned. At first, it seemed like Timothy was much better, although he was coughing and his nose was running like a faucet! However, by the time we left, his fever was up again. I gave him Motrin, sucked out his nose, and put him down for a nap.

I'm glad Lesley is better this morning. Hope Timothy's clears up soon!

I realize I have not been posting a ton lately....between illness (think poor Leslie's illness with a fever) and melancholy and scheduling of "stuff" I have been reading along just not posting.

I was checking e-mails today and I have an interview either Tuesday (my first choice to give me more time to get to as close to 100% as I can) or tomorrow so I would love prayers that if this isn't "my" job that it would surface soon as I am just on the precipice of a breakdown.

ETA: Please know that you all are in my constant thoughts and prayers.

Lots of :wizard: and prayers for you, my dear. I'm glad you're feeling better at least and hope the girls are quickly.

Jennifer - I like your hunt! It sounds great. I wish I had something to add or something for DS. I'll have to think about that one and see what I come up with. I used to have a photo scavenger hunt or something like that. I'll look later and email if over if I can find it.

Oh look, a handy folder in my Disney folder called "Scavenger Hunts". I don't remember what everything is as I haven't looked at them in at least 2-3 years. I'm emailing them all to you now, though, Jennifer.

Well, I need to get myself to the craft store. I still need 6 little wood suitcase boxes for my Daisy meeting tomorrow and I have to paint them red before then so I had better get there ASAP. Have a great day everyone!

Janet remember when I sprained my ankle? I was on crutches for about a week and then in an aircast for about 2 months. It was a very severe sprain they said like a 3rd degree sprain. try to get him to the dr. I also had my Chriopractor adjust my ankle as well. Every time I see him he checks it to make sure its still in alignment.

Germany get your photo taken at the snow white fountain.

Italy find the mask shop and get your photo taken wearing one.

America go in the shop and pose wearing Lady Liberty hat and torch.

Disney’s Yacht and Beach club find the special carousel that no one can ride take a photo beside it.

Grand Floridian Search the hotel for a house – not just any house – but a house that you can eat. Once you find the house and have your picture taken.

In Japan watch Miyuki - the Japanese candy artist molds hot candy into animals!

Morrocco pretend to be a belly dancer?

France get your picture took in the Library?

United Kingdom get your photo taken in a phone booth.

Canada get your photo taken in the cutouts.

Try to pull out the sword in the stone

any other ideas?

just wondering if any body sees my posts.

I have asked a few questions and nobody has responded on here.

Jennifer - I went back about 8 pages and found these posts. I do remember you asking if anyone wanted to buy GS cookies. I didn't respond because I have already ordered.

The first post above didn't look like a question to me and the link didn't work so I didn't respond.

The last long post had lots of info in it, but I missed the question clear at the bottom of the post until I went back to read it. And I am sorry but I don't have an answer for you because we don't travel with little ones anymore.

Did you ask other questions that I missed? Also many of us couldn't get on here at all last night because the DIS wouldn't load.

Elin, thank you for the lovely ecard! :goodvibes

Theresa, best wishes for this interview!!! :wizard:

Jennifer, it sounds like you have some solid ideas. I really don't plan things like that right now, based on the ages of my kiddos. We're generally too busy juggling rides, character meets, and shows around eating, naptime, etc. We're lucky to remember to get the "milestone" pictures taken each trip! :teeth:

And, I think you already know Alyssa is a Daisy Scout, too. Good luck with your cookie sales! Keep in mind, Olivia's cute little face will sell way more cookies than you asking people. Kids are pretty irresistible! :thumbsup2

I'm trying to be productive around here, but noses are dripping like faucets and the coughing is just yucky. Alyssa woke up in the middle of the night claiming her ear hurt, but she said it felt better this morning and she went to school. I'm really hoping I don't end up back at the pediatrician this week with another bout of ear infections and pink eye!

Hope you all are having a decent Monday! :wave2:

actually I was just saying that Olivia was doing a good job selling her cookies. I figured every one had someone to buy from,

I have asked other questions before with no response or posted something for you guys and was not sure if people saw them or not. I wonder why the link did not work. It has several coupons for Landry restrauants. I found it on the budget board. I read that people were having trouble getting on here last night. I am having trouble acessing the apps on facebook.

thanks Amy,
we really don't see many of the shows so just thinking of a way to change it up a bit on Olivia.

I have a bad habbit of missing a lot of post sometimes. :upsidedow

:sunny: The rain has stopped, and my basement is drying out! :thumbsup2 Fortunately, it's only one little area that gets wet.

Just back from the interview....it was a group interview....yes, we were interviewed by 3 people but it was a group of 6 of us being interviewed. It was odd. I just hope I had enough sparkle to shine over about 3 of the others interviewed (3 just weren't up to snuff...I didn't think:rotfl:

Jennifer if I do not respond it is because I have no answer :goodvibes

Glynis hope everyone is on the upswing & felling better!

Theresa crossing my fingers that your interview brings good results!

Beth sorry about the water in your basement.

Amy hope your kiddos stay sick free as well!

Gary says his foot/ankle feels a little better today, so we will see how it goes. I can't force him to see a Dr. unfortunately ;)

The rain & ice is gone, but now we have snow & strong winds. I am REALLY ready for SPRING!!!!!!!!!!

thanks Deb,
did you buy it on line or at one of the book stores?

I bought it online. I'm not sure that it is available online.

We've had rain all day. Now it is extremely foggy. I wonder if the kids will have school tomorrow?
