I'm beat, and I only have one piece of the crown molding up, looking for a burst of energy anyone know where to find one?

If you find it could you send some this way? I managed to sand the wall patches, but did not paint at all. Tomorrow, maybe tomorrow.

Beth, our students are not supposed to do product comparisons, but I ALWAYS see them. There are LOTS of things about it that chap my tushy.

The economically disadvantaged kids typically do ALL of their projects at school, in groups. Which is not really fair to the kids who are expected to do the entire project AT HOME, BY THEMSELVES. But whatever.

We DO have winners, but there are so many flippin' categories that the awards ceremony takes FOREVER. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Honorable Mention in 25 or so categories. Wears me out.

My next crafty project is to make 8 tie dye Mickeyhead shirts for a friend. She made us food while Hunter was sick and I want to do something nice for them. I need to buy t-shirt when I find them on sale.

I don't think I'm making shirts for our next trip. Since we will be doing so many varying activities it would be hard to have themed shirts. I did buy everyone a custom made id badge holder with a cruiseship on it. We can use those at WDW and for our cruise cards. If I could come up with a family logo shirt vs WDW shirt that might work for all of us.

Um, yes!!! He thinks he can recreate the atmospheres of planets with ammonia, helium, & hydrogen....Um NO!

I suggested he do his project on "how does popcorn pop!"

I spent all day deep cleaning my house. I dusted, polished, organized, scrubbed & now my house is so clean you can eat off the floor....well that's if I knew how to cook you something to eat off the floor!

Luckily, neither of my girls have had to do science fairs. They sound like a pain in the butt!

A little birdie told me that Universal tickets are going up soon. The 7 day unlimited for $99 might be going away. (The birdie mentioned tomorrow but it just seems a weird day for a ticket price change...)
Just wanted to let everyone know! I didn't find out until 6pm tonight or I would have posted sooner!

Anne Marie, toxic AND combustible? Big no no. So he was going to do what? Mix them in a jar and put a plant in there? And then stick the jar in the freezer? Nah. The conditions are much too complex to be duplicated effectively. He would need like a biodome for each atmosphere. Not to mention the extremes of heat and cold on other planets are not something you could recreate in the freezer or the oven. So tell him after careful consideration THOSE are your reasons for denying his project proposal.

There was a kid who froze cockroaches. Kept them frozen for like 3 months and when he thawed them out they were still alive! He was speculating about how long the species had been around and wondered if they had survived the ice age.

NOBODY is putting cockroaches in my freezer. But it was a cool project.

it's science fair time here also.....but 2 girls at 1 science fair each in 12 years...I think I will do okay. Abi's such a science geek and thinks so far out of the box that I am betting that I will not be able to help her with hers...oh darn!
