I know that I missed Tammi, but I hope that she shakes that uneasy feeling and that they have a wonderful albeit short trip :wizard::wizard:

I sewed most of the day and managed to produce 12 blankets with the help of my family. We took pictures along the way and everything is boxed, except the photos and those are printing now. I May upload some to photobucket while we watch biggest loser. I'll get to the post office tomorrow and hopefully we'll have our Disney vouchers soon :goodvibes

Tomorrow will be paint the bathroom day unless I get called to sub at school. I'm hoping to knock off a bunch of projects this week and I'm off to a good start:cool1:

That's why I called you! I want to see you too. I've even booked the room coming in on Friday. My grandson is really easy going. He and Chuck will be like long lost buddies in five minutes.

He'll be in Disney World. Without his sister! He will be in heaven. So long as he gets to ride Soarin' and Test Track and gets to talk to Crush, the trip will be a winner for him. Having a meet and greet with Lightning and Mater will be bonus time.

What are your plans for Friday and Saturday? Would you mind us crashing?:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

We would love that. We don't have definite plans at this point for those days. We want to spend time at Epcot because the Flower & Garden show will be happening. I usually like to have my last night at Magic Kingdom. I'll talk to Chuck tonight and let him know. He will be so excited. He could be lurking and already knows.

Please ignore the messes in the background:eek:

Very impressive, Deb!!! :thumbsup2

Tammi, I hope this short trip turns into a great trip! :wizard:

Bernadette, I'm relieved you finally have some meds! I felt so much better after my z-pack last week.

Anne-Marie, great pictures!

Hope everyone is having a good week! :wave2:

Very nice job Deb!!!! However, I didn't see any of you working except for Colby sitting on your lap. Are you sure you put enough effort into it to deserve the credit for yourself? :lmao:

Great job Deb, loved the pictures, it looked like everyone had a great time.

We may end up with overlapping trips this summer, our 25th anniversary is July 27th and we are considering spending it at Disney.

Bernadette hope the meds get you to feeling better quickly :wizard:

Awesome job Deb & family :thumbsup2

Deb,

Very nice! It's great how the whole family came together to work on this project.:goodvibes

Good Morning,

I hope everyone is staying warm, DH's crew hasn't been able to work this week, their main water line is frozen, he still has to go for "meetings" each day, I sure could use his help around here right now.

I've got the Very Pink room painted, I just have to touch up the white stripes, put up the crown molding and touch up all the trim. The carpet will be installed either tomorrow or Friday and then we can load in the furniture and accessories.

I've been having a rough time with this one, even though I'm using low odor paint it is still bothering me, I won't tell DH though or he'll have a fit and insist that I don't start the other room.

I'm hoping that the white furniture and accessories will tone down the pink some, it is verrrryyy pink, DH said he could see the pink glow from the street when he came home last night. :lmao:

Well I have been looking for a volunteer opportunity for our family but most of the listings are for people over 16. Some are just too far away...I can't make a bed much less make a blanket:lmao: so I am still searching. Besides the Disney day I think this would be good for my kids.

Anne Marie, keep checking back. One link I clicked (directly through the Disney site) said opportunities are only listed for the next 60 days, so I got the impression that it will update. The things I looked at from the volunteering site had a wider variety to choose from, but not much for kids. I don't think we are going to knock our brains out to meet the guidelines for the ticket. We aren't renewing our APs this year and the tickets expire I think 12/15/10. Since they are non-transferrable we can't do much with them. If we want to volunteer we can help with the AIDS walk or the breast cancer walk in October and not worry about the free ticket.

Deb - Your blankets look wonderful, and it looks like your whole family had a great time making them. That's so awesome!

Debbie - Sorry about the pink room! I feel your pain! Jacob insisted he wanted green paint in his room, and it looks like Kermit the Frog threw up on his walls! But he likes it, and that's what's important! Now, I just have to convince Mary that she really doesn't want red and black on her walls!

Good morning, everyone! It's gotten really cold here, again! We went through a warm spell where the temps soared into the 40's, but now, we're really cold again! Luckily, I don't have to go anywhere today, or do anything outside the house! So, I'm hunkering down! I may make some bread today, if I get motivated! We'll just have to see.

I just got Katie's progress report from the jr. high, and with the end of the term only 2 days away, I can safely report that she has 7 A's and 1 A-!!! She will be so thrilled when I tell her!!! She has really taken responsibility for her grades this year, even to the point of asking to stay after school for extra help from peer tutoring, and the teachers! I hope it continues!!!

I've got all of Christmas down and put away except for my Disney tree. That comes down this morning, and then the holidays will really be over! I'm glad but sad, if that makes any sense at all. Now, it's just trying to make it through the rest of the winter without getting depressed! Luckily, we've had a lot of sun this winter, so it hasn't been too bad!

Have a great day, everyone! I hope Tammi is having a great time!

I am.... but we are not going to go crazy either. We are renewing our AP this summer either way.

I am betting it will calm it down, but I love Richie's comment! :goodvibes

:yay: for good grades for Katie!

I saw a note that DL has just raised their AP rates ... second time in less than a year. I hope WDW doesn't follow suit!
