I guess we're not the only family who ran out of picture cards!

Noah has pink eye. Luckily, I got him to the doctor and the drops should kick in before we leave tomorrow. I'm pretty sure Matty's getting it too, but wow did he make life miserable trying to put drops in his eyes. This is the boy who has NEVER cried over a shot, but eye drops are apparently torture.

Speaking of recipes, one of my girlfriends brought the most delicious beer bread to Bunco last month, and I finally got a chance to make a loaf for Kevin's office party today. It's the easiest recipe!

RECIPE:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray a loaf pan with PAM
After the oven preheats, stir 1 can light beer (room temperature), 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour, and 1/2 cup sugar until mixed well.
Pour into your loaf pan.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until top is brown

*Optional, spread top with margarine or butter right out of the oven for a buttery top. Mmmm... (Good when serving with dinner, but doesn't make much sense for cutting into cubes for appetizer.)

As for the cheese dip...Mix 1 jar Kraft Old English cheese (found near the Velveeta and parmesan cheese at the store), with 8 oz. of softened cream cheese, using a hand mixer. Heat up before serving to get softer consistency.

Sorry. The afternoon got away from me! I took myself to the doctor to find out why I've been so dizzy and run down lately. Lots of blood tests done, and I'll find out on Monday the results. I'm hoping it's just that my iron levels are down, but the doctor wants to rule out thyroid and diabetes, based on my mom's history.

It was a long day at work today. I got home from the office at 11pm. I'm going to spend a few minutes watching my "Magical Fireplace" DVD from Disney and then head off to dream land. Tomorrow will be another long day.

DS did a snippet of the play on stage last night, then he had his band concert. He is going to be tired today! The concert was boys chorus, girls chorus, drama, beginning band, advanced band, dance team, and 3 levels of orchestra. It lasted over 2 hours.

I know. Good thing I don't plan on having to do anything this weekend. I'm going to try to get my shopping done today. Tomorrow I have designated as "Cookie/Gingerbread House Day". Tomorrow night we have a Christmas party to go to. We'll have to see how the roads are.

I believe Elin drove halfway yesterday. Today she should have just rain to drive through.

My kids still have school on Monday and half a day on Tuesday. I'm sure both days will be spent watching movies. What a waste.

I've had a really rough night and foresee lots and lots of frustration and disappointment to continue for quite a long time to come...please be praying for me as I deal with a situation that has come up with Cassidy.

Off to do a 9 hour stint at Goodwill for the 4th time this week.

I've had a really rough night and foresee lots and lots of frustration and disappointment to continue for quite a long time to come...please be praying for me as I deal with a situation that has come up with Cassidy.

Everyday when we check our mail we are astounded by all the well wishes for our family. You are all amazing people.

AnneMarie and family Hunter and Chris are having fun with his new car. That thing is amazing. He has a grin plastered from ear to ear.

Noah's eye isn't gooping anymore, but it's still really red underneath. Poor little guy definitely has a cold, but he's in good spirits and he's literally undoing everything I'm trying to accomplish today (packing, removing things off the tree, etc.).

We're hitting the road as soon as Kevin gets home from the law credit seminar he had to make-up from his bout with shingles.

Christmas with my mom on Saturday and my dad on Sunday...then home again!
