Have a wonderful, magical trip, Elin!!!

I hope the weather is OK for your drive!
We are still considering Airtran. Definitely for the trip to MCO, because like I said yesterday, delays GOING will just make me mad. Delays coming home would be much, much more problematic because DH gets up at midnight on Saturday night to go into work. We HAVE TO get home Saturday morning, because that was the only reason he agreed to stay Friday night.
Deb, glad Hunter's recovery is progressing well!
Pixie is still fighting a cold. She has been HORRIBLY "spitty" this week, at pretty much EVERY feeding. She has already thrown up all over my arm and my lap this morning, even WITH a burp cloth.

I have a spare shirt in the car so I may throw my shirt in with the girls' laundry. When I get to that load. Princess wet the bed (because I JUST changed her sheets yesterday, and that is the rule - NEVER pee on anything other than sheets that have JUST been changed) so her stuff is in the dryer. I have whites in the wash now because we have been averaging 8 burp cloths a day. Good thing Pixie got a TON of burp cloths as gifts! Luckily we don't have any errands or anything today so I can concentrate on laundry until it is time for carpool.
Glynis, DS had this LUDICROUS science project due today. He was supposed to use 141 science vocab words in a game to get an "A" in that category.

He worked on it literally ALL DAY Sunday because he had play rehearsal all day Saturday. When he stopped Sunday he told me he had 100 words done, which was enough to give him a "B" for word usage. I told him to please do 15 more cards each night Mon, Tue and Wed so he would have 145 for an "A". I do NOT think his overall project will score higher than a "C". So last night he announced that he only had 108 cards.

He either miscounted on Sunday, or he lied. Even though he did more cards the past 3 nights he STILL only has enough for a "B". He also had to do abstracts of 3 science articles, due today.
He was supposed to write an essay for English, but the essay pertained to a movie the class watched when he wasn't there! He was supposed to cite specific examples from the movie, so there was absolutely no way to fake his way through it. I have no idea how he will resolve that.
I told him he has a TON of work to do over the break and he better not oppose me or whine about it. It HAS TO be done. In January we will start getting into serious play rehearsal, PLUS audition material, PLUS campus tours and that sort of thing. Unfortunately ALL of this stuff still counts for first semester, and his first semester grades are submitted with his application. The guidance counselor said it is more about fine arts than academics over there, so we'll hope that is true. The thing is, if he is equal on audition with someone else I want his grades to be enough to give him the edge.
