If you could keep my friends and their son Mason in your prayers that would be appreciated. Amber went in yesterday for a standard non-stress test. She ended up delivering Mason yesterday via emergency c-section about a month early.

They knew head of time that some of his intestines would be outside of his chest. So he had surgery to repair that early this morning. The doctors are positive about his prognosis but any positive thoughts are appreciated for the whole family.

Deb- The prayer bears are so thoughtful.

So the snow is almost all melted just in time for more snow and other fun :rolleyes:weather tomorrow.

I should go work on decorating the tree. So the boxes can all be put away.

Remember Prep and Landing is on ABC tonight at 8:30pm EST.

I am so sorry to hear this. I'm sure that family is in unimaginable pain right now. We will keepp them in our prayers.

Deb-Hunter remains in my prayers. So glad he's feeling more comfortable about things. I think you've made the right choice by staying close to home. The surgeon sounds perfect and I think you will get better/more compasionate care in a smaller hospital then you will in a large Boston hospital.

Becky-prayers for Mason and his family.

Don't forget to watch the new Disney animated special that is on now!

Becky - sending your friends good thought!

Hi Bernadette! How was your trip?

I'm watching The Biggest Loser finale. I flipped for a little while to the Disney special but I figure it will be on again and I enjoy watching the finale.

I'm home. It was great seeing everyone! Wish we could have spent more time together! I have to say I was actually ready to come home. It was really hard to leave Emma. The weather was a mixed bag. I got sick.

When I got home I found out that DH didn't send Emma to school at all when I was gone. He didn't think he should send her while she was on an antibiotic. When I talked to him on the phone he would keep telling me he was going to send her the next day. Then I found out this morning that even though I told him the dosing of 3 times a day meant morning, noon & night NOT every 8 hours he still went by the 8 hour thing so she only got 3 doses two days I was gone-every other day was only 2.:headache: Emma had a follow up appointment today and I went with them. He did ask the doctor about the 3 times a day thing today-why didn't he ask when he took her last Tuesday????? Anyways...she is doing well-still has a cough. She needs to have another chest xray a month after her first one.

On Friday I got a call from the school nurse that Joe was sick. She couldn't reach DH. By the time I got a hold of him he was already on his way to get Joe. He took Joe to the doctor Saturday and he had an ear infection and the flu. They did a nebulizer treatment in the doctor's office and by the time they got home Joe had an alergic reaction to the albuterol. He did ok with benedryl. He's on an antibiotic and tamiflu. He seemed pretty good by the time I got home Monday.

I am so exhausted. I really need to go to bed.

Becky prayers for your friend & Mason

Sadly, my hibernation was interrupted by my scatterbrained son who informed me he needed supplies to make a gingerbread house by 7:30 am! So out I went, wearing my fuzzy lounge pants, a pink coat and boots....I did however make him go in and buy the supplies.....so at least no one saw my insane outfit. :scared1:

Aw come on, you should have went into the store :rotfl:

Welcome back Bernadette! Hope everyone is feeling better soon :wizard:

:hug:I'm sorry that your trip was so stressful. I hope that you can get some rest now and that the kids are on the mend. I hope you still managed to have some fun on your trip.

We did try the new sum of all thrills twice. That was a lot of fun!

I think I might have concured my fear of ToT. I had promised Lizzy I would do it with her if she got her teacher to sign her assingment book every day. She did that so I had to keep my end of the deal. On the first ride Ralph tried to take a photo of the open doors but didn't capture it too well. The others all wanted to ride again so I had to go and try to get a better photo! Then I rode a 3rd time a few days later with the DDA crew.

I got to ride Everest 5 times in a row in the dark at EMH on Wednesday night.

I got to ride Toy Story Mania 4 times on the trip!

We had lots of very nice meals. Flying Fish was really wonderful. We had an awesome table at California Grill. We all really enjoyed Coral Reef.

And it was wonderful to spend so much time with Lizzy!

I hope that you can use the wine charms. They were fun to make:goodvibes

I am pretty sure we will put them to good use. ;) Kristin looked and them and said, "That was exactly how I thought they ought to be made!" :thumbsup2

Bernadette - I am glad you are home safe and sound. I wish Joe and Emma were feeling better and that you weren't sick too! It sure was fun to see you again and to mee Lizzy and your friends. They fit in quite well with all of us crazy DDAers! I told someone today that it was like sitting down to Sunday dinner with one big family. :goodvibes
