Yuck! Glad your 13 days in a row is over.Hi,
I survived my 13 days in a row of working.
I missed some of the following so Happy Birthday, feel better, Happy Anniversary, I am sorry for your loss, hugs to you and lots of pixie dust.
I have a discount code for Aeropostale, it can be used online the code is ffnov and is good through Sunday, November 22nd.
I think I am going to be lazy but I need to go shopping and get some things. Have a great weekend.
Hope Laura had a great time! Congrats to Miles on his swim meet. Sorry about the movie at school. I am always shocked that folks let their kids run around at the band concerts at schoolLaura is in Washington, DC today with the high school history club. I think it's basically a "free day" provided that they stay in groups. She texted to let me know that she is having a terrific time. They left at 4:20 am and will return after midnight. Dh took her to the bus this morning, and I'll pick up. This is one time that I really wish she had her license!
Miles had a swim meet this morning. He did pretty well and improved at least a little on his times for each of the events that he swam. His relay team DQ'd, but at least it wasn't his fault.
We went to Miles' elementary school last night for a showing of Polar Express. It was noisy and chaotic. Despite the fact that every student needed to have adult supervision, few actually watched the movie and instead ran around and talked. Of course, there were many adults chatting loudly, too. Miles still thought it was fun to see a movie at school, so it was all good.

I renewed my membership through my office. I had to do it by mail and the form said it would take 4 weeks. I was happy to get the email that they did it in less than 1 week. I paid $35 for 15 months instead of $45 for 12.I got a coupon book for BJs. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday they have an Acer AS5534 Laptop 15.6" LCD, 4GB RAM, AMD Dual-Core, Windows 7 Premium. Price after $100 coupon is $399.99
Too excited to sleep????It's 3:39 in the morning. Why am I awake?![]()
Hope you enjoyed your concert!!!Today I plan to get out my carry-on and give some thought to what I need for my quickie trip. I won't need much as long as it doesn't rain!
I also need to get some Thanksgiving food shopping done but we haven't discussed what we are making yet.
And then tonight is the choral concert at UMW. We are singing Rutter's "Gloria" in honor of the upcoming season and it is a very powerful piece. I can't wait to hear it with organ and brass and timpani. I wasn't at dress rehearsal yesterday so I don't know what it sounds like yet!
It should be fun and it ought to put me in a better frame of mind. I don't like feeling like Eeyore! I much prefer my usual Tigger-like outlook. How do people who are perpetually sad or looking at the half-empty glass exist on a daily basis? It is draining and I am bound and determined to get out of this funk.
Hope you had a nice dinner! I'm sure Chris enjoyed his Kitchen Sink!We have the big family dinner tonight. Turkey is in the oven and all the ingredients for the Kitchen Sink is in house. I need to do some more cleaning and hopefully I'll find time to work on Christmas Ornaments.
Congrats on getting the painting done!!!I'm definitely not as young as I used to be!
Two days and three coats later the room is finally painted, the trim is done, the new shelves are up, the wallcrashers are up, and the new blinds and curtains are hung. I had hoped to have the furniture moved in but that's not going to happen, I did do my shopping for Thanksgiving, and some of the shopping for the two meals I will be doing at work.
We had the kids for a few hours this afternoon so that slowed things down some, but I would rather spend time with them anyday.
Now I need to clean the kitchen and take a long bubble bath. . . . .
I should go take some motrin. My back is hurting from being hunched over the sewing machine all weekend. I got the Pop T's for Lizzy & I stitched. I made Lizzy a Minnie T with Santa cap-I was going to make me one but after making her's I just wasn't up for it. I don't know if I will be up for it this weekend or not. I made name pillows for Halley and Eleanor and worked on one for Emma. Both of my girls were sick today so I didn't get as much done as I had hoped.
Lizzy stayed at a friend's house Friday night. When she got home yesterday she went to bed-I figured she didn't sleep well. She said she wasn't feeling well this morning so she stayed home with me while Gene brought Joe & Emma to church. They weren't gone long when Lizzy started vomiting. Forturnately it didn't last long and she has eaten some crackers and jello and kept that down all day. Then Gene came home early because Emma had a fever of 102.5. We made an appointment for Lizzy to go the pediatrician tomorrow because has some sort of rash on her scalp that isn't going away. I might have to call to see if they can see her later in the day so I don't have to miss too much work-not sure we want to drag Emma out if she still has a fever.
I haven't started packing at all yet. I don't like accuweather's long range forecast. Highs in the 70's with lows in the 40's. weather.com only does a 10 day forecast but they are showing lows in the 50's.
