Good Morning

Deb - I'm glad you're getting some answers

Elin -

I have a full schedule this weekend, today I have to get my bills paid, make a trip to the post office, laundry, and paint one of the bedrooms so that it can be turned into the "Bama" room. I promised Richie that once our DD moved out he could have it, I did tell him that I would be in charge of decorating, I don't want it to look like a teens room.

After that one is done I have two more bedrooms and a half bath to do. We replaced a few of our kitchen cabinet doors and drawer fronts yesterday, hind sight is 20/20 and had I known then what I know now I never would have gone with the one I picked out. I found a company online where you can order them, I was very pleased with them, they are slightly different but I don't think you wold ever notice. These will do for now but I think later on down the line I will replace all of them and give the kitchen a whole new look, their prices are really reasonable.

Good morning-

I dont have anything I HAVE to do today so I think ill get some shopping in--I need to get some christmas presents and some things for my class for next week so I think ill just get it all done today!

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

I am off to judge lots and lots of jazz!

Good Morning.

Hunter had a bit of a restless night last night. I was able to see a pattern of him stirring, making a chattering noise with his teeth followed by a moan. I suspect that it was some sort of mini seizure. I witnessed it at least 7 times and most likely slept through a few. I suspected that he would awake more tired this morning and I was correct. It is amazing how aware we become when we are actually paying attention. Any information that I can provide to the doctors will make dialing in the diagnosis that much quicker.

Tammi & Jen-good luck shopping!:wizard:

Debbie-sounds like a busy day. Good luck with the painting!:wizard:

Deb-:hug:hope you can find the right meds for Hunter very quickly!:wizard::hug:

I'm off to get sewing and maybe some packing done!

Hi,
I survived my 13 days in a row of working.

I missed some of the following so Happy Birthday, feel better, Happy Anniversary, I am sorry for your loss, hugs to you and lots of pixie dust.

I have a discount code for Aeropostale, it can be used online the code is ffnov and is good through Sunday, November 22nd.

I think I am going to be lazy but I need to go shopping and get some things. Have a great weekend.

OK, first coat is done and I'm having lunch while it dries for a while, I'm hoping to get away with only three coats, but the dark red over teal is gonna be a tough one.

Hello, DDA!

Elin, I am so sorry to hear about another loss. It does serve to remind me about being thankful for what (and who) I have!

Deb, I am so sorry! I will hope and pray that you find the right medications quickly so that you don't have to always worry about the next seizure. :wizard: that Nick feels better soon, too.

Laura is in Washington, DC today with the high school history club. I think it's basically a "free day" provided that they stay in groups. She texted to let me know that she is having a terrific time. They left at 4:20 am and will return after midnight. Dh took her to the bus this morning, and I'll pick up. This is one time that I really wish she had her license!

Miles had a swim meet this morning. He did pretty well and improved at least a little on his times for each of the events that he swam. His relay team DQ'd, but at least it wasn't his fault. ;)

We went to Miles' elementary school last night for a showing of Polar Express. It was noisy and chaotic. Despite the fact that every student needed to have adult supervision, few actually watched the movie and instead ran around and talked. Of course, there were many adults chatting loudly, too. Miles still thought it was fun to see a movie at school, so it was all good.

I am going to try to get Christmas cards out this year. (Please note that I said try. ;) I'm notoriously bad about getting my act together with Christmas cards.) I have only the old DDA contact list. I'm not sure who all has moved since then. If you are interested in being on my list and think you have a new address since then, please PM me your new address.

Thanks!

It took us 3 coats when we paint dark colors. Even if you use a dark primer it takes 3 coats in the end :confused3

I'm glad that Miles did well in his swim meet.
I think Jennifer put an updated list on google documents at one time though I bet there have been more changes since then.

Chris watched the boys so that I could take a nap today. It was wonderful to have time to myelf. The boys are playing together now so they are watching each other. Colby and I put up our Thanksgiving inflatable and now Colby is putting up some window clings. Maybe tomorrow we will try to get some outside Christmas decorations out. It was beautiful here today. I need to work at the restaurant tonight for a couple of hours. I had agreed prior to this weeks happenings and since things seem stable I will go. I hope to run a few errands after that. If I manage that then I won't have to run out tomorrow. We are still planning to have a party tomorrow night for Chris and Colby and I plan to cook a Turkey and make a kitchensink so being home all day will be nice.

I'm glad that you were able to get a nap in, Deb.

I'm not sure where the google documents are or how to access them. Sorry.

I got a coupon book for BJs. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday they have an Acer AS5534 Laptop 15.6" LCD, 4GB RAM, AMD Dual-Core, Windows 7 Premium. Price after $100 coupon is $399.99

Amy,
You had asked for places that give an extra when you buy giftcards from them either here or on Facebook. The Container store currently has an offer if you buy $100 worth of gift cards you get an additional $25 free.

It's 3:39 in the morning. Why am I awake?:guilty::rolleyes1
