DDA Chapter 23

Alex lost his game this Saturday in the 2nd round playoffs. We had to play another Grayson Ram team. It is always difficult to play against your friends from your same association. But...they beat us good 18 - 0. I'm not sure I can go watch them play on Saturday. Alex said he wants them to lose but I told him he had a bad attitude about it. I told him it would benefit the Grayson Football Association if one of our teams won the championship. Of course he didn't see it that way.....:thumbsup2 thumbs-up for Nicholas for being a good sport.

Lynn
I'm sorry that they were eliminated. It's funny though, because that's how we lost too. Our city has too many kids that want to play so they make 2 teams....Fburg Orange and Fburg White. We lost to the Orange.

Tammi - Do you think my 7 year old girls would be able to handle Christmas Carol? I'm torn about taking them.
If you subscribe to my theory that "you have children for entertainment value", then yes. If you want to shield and protect your child from everything that is out there, then no. ;) Kinda like at dinner afterward when I gave Bethany a teeny piece of a Jalapeno and told her it was a pickle. :rotfl: Of course, I did explain to Alyssa the plot of the movie, so she knew about the ghosts ahead of time. I think they'll be okay. Bob didn't have to sit in the lobby with her, so if she survived it, I think your kids will.

Today is Nicholas' last Robotics club, so they have invited parents in for the kids to show what they've been doing. Which meant I got to leave work early. Now I'm heading over to the school.

Oh, and my parents made it onto their ship, after missing their connection in Atlanta. My dad is a bonehead. He thought he had to get his bags in Atlanta, causing them to not get to the gate on time. They got put on the next flight out. I told my mom "kinda like the Amazing Race, huh?" :rotfl:

Tammi here is what the vinylmation pins look like, I just think they are creepy looking.

What onboard gift did you decide to get them?

Glynis,
Sophie is very brave & not scared of much but she had a hard time watching Christmas Carol. Her eyes were covered for most of it. (shes 8) Daniel was fine & he is 10. Katie said it creeped her out.

I cannot begin to tell you the drama we have had with our new Driod phones. We bought them Saturday & last night both stopped working. Dana's kept shutting off & I could not get mine on at all. So I bring them both back to the Verizon store & they returned Dana's but not mine because it has a scratch on it.:headache: I sat in the Verizon store for over 2 hours while 2 employees made calls trying to get someone to authorize the exchange (which they could not). So now I have to go to a Verizon headquarters & have them look at the phone tommorrow & see what they will do. 3 days & the phones died. Unreal! There was another couple in the store with a complaint as well.

So just a warning to anyone looking at the Motorola Driod, wait awhile until they get the kinks worked out on this one. Its a fun phone when it works.

Thanks, Tammi! They've been to see live productions of A Christmas Carol that were pretty scary, and they were ok with that, so hopefully they'll enjoy this, too. They can always do like Bethany and close their eyes at the scary parts. I still do that sometimes, myself!

Thanks, Anne Marie.

Woo Hoo, Monday is officially in the books :cool1: The restaurant has definitely slowed down and we closed early since we hadn't had anyone come in for over an hour. I ended up doing okay though. I wonder how tomorrow night will be?

Debbie-glad you're enjoying AKL! Hope the weather at home & at WDW isn't too bad and clears for your party!

Jen-congrats on the Christmas shopping!

Heidi-look at your ticker!

Stephanie and I had a chance to meet some Disney friends from the Magic Meet. Here we are with their puppies Zak and Zoe. They are just the sweetest dogs ever. You clap your hands and Zak shakes his head with his Pluto in his mouth. Their owners are Carol and Gary who are regulars on the Tagrel site. Elin, I am pretty sure we introduced them to you. Gary was the one who won the cruise
What a great photo!

I am reading rumors many places that the Lights of Winter in Epcot may not be there this year. :(

:sad2:So sad! I have telling Lizzy how cool these lights are. I haven't told her we probably wont see them.

Tia-hope you're feeling better!

Deb-glad you survived Monday! Hope the rest of the week isn't too bad.

Not good. Thanks for the heads up. Good luck!

Good Morning

It's Tuesday for me  At least it's not Monday ;)

Yep...Grayson Green and Grayson White.....we lost to green. During the game you couldn't yell out....Go Rams....because they were both rams. We would yell out...Go White. Not quite the same though.

Good Morning....it's Friday to me since I'm off tomorrow. Bank holiday for Veterans Day. But then I have another Monday on Thursday.....but then there is Friday again. This will be a quick week. :cool1:

I LEAVE TOMORROW AFTERNOON!!!!! :woohoo: :cool1: :dance3: :cheer2:

Could you all send some pixie dust that we don't have neighbors that come in arguing every night, like we had on our Feb. trip.
