Good morning!

We have been getting messages from our electric company for about a month letting us know that they were updating service in our area and that they would be turning off our power for about 2 minutes on certain days. I was impressed that they lest us know this in advance. Only problem is... they never turned it off.

So the last message, sent Monday, let us know that our service would be interrupted for four (yes, I said FOUR) hours today. From 10-2 the power will be off! That is a long time when the temps are at freezing!!

Of course, maybe they figure no one is at home in the middle of the day anymore.

So after we have checked out our room we head to the MK. Now we are summer guests so we were ready for the rush to get fastpasses..well it was not crowded at all & up until 1 or 2 pm there was no need for FP's. Most things all morning were walk on or wait up to 15 minutes max. This made for a very relaxing pace which we cannot enjoy in the summer.

After some fun & lots of rides (BTM, POC, Buzz, Philharmagic, SW, Carosel, Pooh, Peter Pan, IASW, Haunted Mansion, Indy speedway, Teacups) we headed out for our dinner at Chef Mickey's. By the way the new TTA which we used to love is not as much fun with the new recording. Wish they had left that one alone.

Celebrate! Everydays a party!

We had a great server who was from the town we used to live in. He was quick refills & the buffet was very fresh. The rest of the week when we ate breakfast at the Contempo (which is right next to CM's) we would take our paper napkins & "celebrate" there too when we heard the music.

They gave us an anniversary cupcake.

We hit the pool for a quick swim. The pool was alot of fun. They added a sprinkler area with little water cannons & splash zones. The main pool was freezing. The lifeguard told me there was a problem with the heating so we ended up in the quite pool for a bit which was warmer.

Showers & bed. I slept closest to the window & watched the castle change color all night long...I literally could not sleep because I wanted to keep watching the castle. Goodnight MK!

I go to WDW in 30 days! Four weeks from Saturday I will see a lot of you!!

And this weekend I am doing two fun things: Saturday we have tickets to see Disney's "A Christmas Carol" at the IMAX theater. And Sunday we are going to the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show in DC. Most of the celebs from the Food Network will be there too, as well as good food and wine. I have also managed to turn it into a DIS meet, of sorts too. Another beltway-area DISer will be there and we will finally get to meet.

Nope, no more "Paging Tom Morrow..." Now it is just a guy telling you about the rides you are passing. It had so much character before now its just not the same.

Tammi, glad to hear you had fun at the concert. We have yet to even introduce her to Alyssa, though she's aware of "Hannah Montana." I worry that Miley is going to turn into the next Lindsay Lohan.

Thanks for the compliments on our Halloween pictures! I was happy with my handiwork (especially since I don't own a sewing machine), though Glinda was pretty lackluster, since I ran out of time for my own costume.
