DDA Chapter 23

Katrina came home late on Sunday. I'm not sure if she is there to stay. She is looking for a job in Iron Mountain. She has not officially broke it off with the boyfriend but I expected that. It is a step in the right direction.

That sounds like a step in the right direction. :cool1:

Hunter is sleeping peacefully, I wish I could say the same for me. Because of his med schedule and the fact that he was in a lot of pain even on the meds yesterday, I feel like I'm sleeping with one eye open. Of course the kids only have a half day today and the Comcast guy is supposed to show up between Noon and 4 PM so that means no nap in my future. :headache: Maybe he'll come early. My Dad is coming to sit with Hunter when Chris goes to work this morning. After work I'll take him into school to pick up his backpack and any assignments that we can get. I don't think he's in any shape to work on them, but we'll have them and hope for big improvement over the next couple of days. He sees the ortho on Tuesday.

Vicki - I'm so glad to hear that Katrina is home. :wizard: that she stays, and that the job search is profitable.

Tammi, we have no swine vaccines. :confused3 I think a few thousand doses total have made it statewide. The news is saying January for us. I figure by then we will have survived it or died from it. Either way, I won't need a vaccine in January!
I don't think there is any rhyme nor reason as to how these things got divied up. It doesn't make sense. :sad2:

Tammi,
That's great they offered the swine flu vaccine for your kids throught the school.

We have no swine flu vaccines here. They had the mist but ran out. I didn't want the mist anyway. My kids had the flu shot (seasonal) but not the swine flu one yet.

Life is crazy here & no I am not packed!;) The way it has been here lately this trip just can't come soon enough. :rolleyes1

Yeah for small steps. I hope she finds a job and cuts the cord completely.

That sounds like a step in the right direction. :cool1:

I'm glad Hunter is getting sleep and that a nap does happen for you.

Tammy -- I'm glad you were able to get the kids the vaccine. They were saying on the radio this morning that Texas is 49th out of 50 states in terms of number of vaccinations received by the state vs. population.

I agree Elizabeth -- by the time it gets here it won't really matter.

I hope those under the weather are feeling better.

Look who I ran into!!!

Good Morning, I'm spending another day at home, but hopefully I'll be able to get a few things taken care of around here.

I've put together our schedule for November,

6th - Work half day, leave for Tallahassee in the afternoon

7th - arrival, Epcot in the afternoon with dinner at LeCellier

8th - KTTK tour at 8:30 am, dinner at Tonys

9th - No real plans, no ADR's, most likely will spend part of the day at DTD with CS lunch at WPE

10th - dinner at Biergarten, Osbourne lights begin

11th - dinner at Captain's Grille

12th - dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe followed by MVMCP

13th - Richie's bday, dinner at Big River Grille

14th - Breakfast at Boma, spend half day at a park and depart later for Tallahassee, home on the 15th

With just a couple of exceptions I don't have the park days planned, I think we are going to slow this one down and play it by ear quite a bit.

Debbie you will enjoy the slowness of this trip, John and I really enjoyed ours this past Feb. and we are not the commando type to begin with.

I see I managed to post 3 times this morning even though the DIS kept telling me there was an error :headache: I don't know why I try to post before work, it never goes smoothly.

Hunter still has a lot of pain and he started vomiting this morning, probably from lack of food in his tummy. My Dad tried to get him to eat, but he wouldn't. I made him scrambled eggs when I came home and he ate those, so far so good. I took him to school and got his backpack and missing work. Hopefully he will feel well enough to work on it as some point. One of his friends said that she will come over and help him this weekend:goodvibes She was the one kid that stayed with him when it happened and actually talked to him and tried to calm him down while the other kids made comments about how mangled his shoulder looked. She was very upset when they wouldn't let her stay with him until I got there. Very sweet girl.

Now we can sit and wait for the Cable guy to show up sometime between Noon and 4 PM. Nothing like a vague appointment.

Which background do you guys like? For baptism invite...

I like the darker one.

Colby accidently bumped Hunter and he is in agony again:headache: I hope it passes soon. I've talked him into taking nap so hopefully that will help. Comcast has come and gone.

Got a question for you all....

Should your child be expected to dance the dance to the song "Thriller" in Spanish class?

Yes I did just write that sentence.
