DDA Chapter 23

I've seen him on FB some lately. They seem to be doing okay.

Always pie! YUM!!

Terra hasn't really asked for much. I know she really wants a Wii so I might see if the inlaws will do that, especially since the price has come down. I've been thinking about getting her a video camera of some sort. I don't want to spend much at her age, but she's been obsessed with making movies lately so I thought that might be good. Mostly though, it will just be a few Webkinz I got cheaply over the summer and some games or books.

I will make you a special copy right before I list them on eBay!

I saw one of the kiddo type ones that was HM or HSM clearanced at Target.

I would want apple crisp, Heidi!

I cannot believe you got snow!

Well Lizzy had asked my SIL to get her a notebook computer but I thought about if for a long time and have asked her NOT to do it. She can use my computer and by the time that she really does need one for school the one my SIL would have purchased this year will be obsolete. So I asked SIL to buy our family a Wii instead.

I will get Emma some small plastic dogs she wants, I got her a very cute book on the artwork of Disney dogs. I also spent way to much on the new Santa Buddies movie that is coming out in November with a set of 5 stuffed animals but she will absolutely flip out when she sees those!!!! Her birthday is in January so I have to think about that too-um....not that a trip to Disney isn't gift enough! I did find the perfect game board for her-"walk the dogs"-it looks fun!

I got Joe a CD set of Disneyland music-again rather expensive but he will love it-even though we've never been he likes the "history" of the place. I got him a book on the artwork of Pixar short movies, and an almanac. His birthday is Jan 10th so I really do have to think about that. I am going to order him a geography game too.

I'm sort of stumped on Lizzy-I did order her a down vest as she has a vest that she likes now that doesn't really fit anymore. Not sure about it though as the vest she has now is easier to wash than down will be. It was on sale at Land's End for $14.99. I guess I'll see what I think of it when it arrives. I can return it to a Sears store if I don't like it. I did order her the new first ever official sequel to Winnie the Pooh and a nice hardcover set of the original Pooh books.

Joe wants that too!

oh I did not realize that was coming out. Olivia would love that. where did you order it from.

Tom has occasionally posted on facebook, but not as much as he used to.

Has anyone heard from Lindsay? I am worried about them.

I saw it first on Disney Shopping but ordered it from Amazon with free shipping. The movie isn't too expensive but it wasn't easy spending that much on the set with the stuffies but she will totally flip out! I'm thinking the Santa thing can't last too much longer so I felt like I sort of had to do it.

I went to disney website after I posted. Not sure I want to spend that kind of money on the plushes but your right she would love it. She has a stuffed dog that she calls rosebud. And she likes to pretend shes a puppy every so often and her puppy name is rosebud.

Tia, I bet Terra would love a Flip. They aren't that expensive, and it's really easy to use. For as small as it is, it really is a decent video recorder.

I think Bernadette can vouch for this, too. :)

Thank you for your continued prayers and well-wishes for Kevin. Marci and Anne-Marie, thank you for relaying your own experiences with Dana and Randy. As for Kevin, his face still has the terrible blisters, but his pain is finally subsiding. He intends to go to work tomorrow, and hopefully he won't overdo it.

I wish I could say I had an ideal experience at my ultrasound today, but we have a bit of an issue. Our baby boy has two choroid plexus cysts on his head. My doctor is optimistic that these will most likely disappear throughout the rest of my pregnancy, but they need to take precautionary steps since it could also be a "marker" of other things. As a result, I had to give blood for a quad screening, and I will need to go downtown on Friday, October 30th for a level 2 ultrasound.

I'm trying to tell myself that this happened for a reason...Kevin didn't get to go with me, so the baby wanted to make sure Daddy gets to see him, but you know that's easier said than done. Thankfully I had Julie (she used to post here a long time ago) with me!

Alyssa doesn't seem too terribly disappointed another boy is on the way, but Matty is insisting we name him Trevor, since his friend Justine has a new baby brother with the same name. We've picked out the name Samuel Ethan...Sammy for short. :)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! We're 20 degrees below normal here in Cincinnati, and I'm just not ready for the cold. Luckily, we have a trip to WDW just about a month away. :goodvibes

Amy congrats on Samuel. :wizard:that those cysts will go away. Glad to hear Kevin is doing a little better. for all of you.

That's the one I was thinknig about. I seem to remember having heard decent things about them. Really, I don't need super great, just not terrible and easy for her to hold.

:grouphug: I hope the further tests show nothing to be concerned about. Either way, I know everything will work out for the best. 3 boys, huh. You're going to have your work cut out for you. ;)

Good morning. :)

TGIF!!!!

Amy - I'm glad to hear that Kevin is feeling better. I wish your ultrasound had been a better experience for you. Lots and lots of prayers that everything will subside and you will have a healthy baby. Try not to worry too much. I know, easier said than done. Congratulations on another boy.

Well so much for the 2-4" of snow we were supposed to get.

Amy congratulations on another boy! Prayers that all goes well  Glad to hear Kevin is on the mend.

Well I either lied to Elin in the PM this morning or John cleared off the deck railings once and there is more snow then what I just measured.
4 1/2" of very wet heavy snow, yuck. (I hope I just lied to Elin, cause I don't want as much snow as I thought there was).
