That works for the moment but an hour later, you hear it again. I get tired of repeating myself over & over. I just started ignoring her. Chuck is ready for me to go back to Lansing because he's not enjoying himself with both of us here.

I sounds like she might have early Alzeheimers  I really hope that is not the case:wizard:

I thank and encourage anyone to put us on their prayers lists, chains and anywhere else they can think of. We'll take all the prayers that we can get  Thank you all.

We had a good day yesterday, very busy. Hunter hasn't had any apparent seizures in a couple of days so other than being tired he is acting totally okay. This makes the thought of surgery even harder.

I hope you have all been having a good weekend.

Deb- You and your family are still in my thoughts and prayers.:wizard::hug: It is important not only for Hunter but for your entire family, especially Colby and Nick that you continue to try and live as normally as possible.

Debbie- How has your TMJ been?

Glynis- Glad you had a productive visit.

Tia- I hope you are not having another bout of Diverticulitis.

Everyone who is sick I hope they feel better soon.

For all of you leaving soon, good luck getting everything done.

Me too, please.

I am getting my Christmas card list together. Would you all mind PMing me your names and updated addresses? I promise not to post them anywhere. Thanks!

Can someone going to Disney soon, pleasee pick something up for me?

I am sooooooo angry! The dumba$$ father of my children just gave Nicholas a cell phone for his birthday. Why on earth would anyone in their right mind think a 10 year old needs to have a cell phone. The kid is never alone. He is always with me or Bob or his dad. He doesn't stay home alone, he's not a latch-key kid, he doesn't walk to the school bus alone, he doesn't even ride the bus! He uses the house phone or my cell phone whenever he wants to call someone. When I asked why he did it, his response was "well he's been bugging me for one for awhile now." Yeah, well me too, but I've grown the parenting backbone and said NO!!!!! I wonder if that means that when Nicholas starts bugging him for a car he will get that too. This has just opened up a parenting nightmare for me. Plus now I get to worry what Nicholas is doing with it when he is at his dads, because I know that HE won't be paying attention to his son. AAARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Vicki,
My kids have the Wii. It comes with the console, a controller, & a game called Wii Sport. You would need at least another controller so you & Chuck could play together. 1 or 2 more games too. Some fun ones are Wii carnival, mini golf, & of course Toy Story Mania. Dana & I play with the kids & it is a lot of fun.

I've been looking at Wii Carnival and mini golf, so it's good to see that you like them. I have a very strong suspicion (ok, I know) that I'll be getting Toy Story Mania for Christmas. We also like Mario Kart racing and Mario Party 8 as games that the whole family can play (or at least 4 of us at a time).

Vicki-I am sorry you are having trouble with your mom. Have you told her that you've heard that story before and don't need to hear it again? I find that if I do that most people stop repeating the stories.

I am so exhausted....physically and emotionally. I actually nearly fell asleep on my feet at ARC (another succesful day....though I don't know how 8+ pairs of the same size jeans can only yield one pair that fit:confused3)

Did you happen to have my daughter there? Jean shopping with her is a nightmare!

Emma is sick. She got a fever last Sunday. Seemed to be pretty well over it Wednesday but now the fever is back (101.5 so not crazy high) and she can't stop coughing. We gave her cough medicine last night and it seemed to help and she slept well but we've tried giving it to her twice today and it doesn't seem to do anything for her.

I got all the Christmas decorations out today. Got the Christmas photos out-the kids love to see those! Got the nativity set up and my Santas out. Hopefully DH will feel up to putting up the tree tomorrow but I'm pretty sure we'll be at the doctor with Emma and I have to go to work too so I don't know if that will happen. I promised Emma we would put it up before I went away.

I still haven't pack or made backups of my photos so I can reformat my memory cards or charged batteries.....

I did do the book for my mother in law-but didn't order it yet-I need to order a few prints too and should do some Chrismas cards......

:wizard: that Emma feels better soon!

Good evening everyone.

Just hanging out on the computer for a little bit and enjoying the finally quiet household. Also sitting here hoping that the rumblings in my tummy are just a temporary thing and not an oncoming attack of diverticulitis. :scared: I don't want to have to shell out money for the doctor again already.

It looks like maybe we will need to though for the dog. :( She's got a lump on her belly that looks like maybe a blocked and infected milk duct or something. She's also been yelping more when Terra pets or holds her like there is serious pain involved. When I touch the lump she doesn't react so I'm not sure if the two things are related or not. She's an 11yo chihuaha who also seems to have cataracts starting. Poor thing. I think Rachel is scared that there is something really wrong, not to mention Kristi and Erin.

:wizard::wizard:for both you and the dog!

Daniel is sick & all this H1N1 stuff has me in a tizzy. He had a fever last night, cough, runny nose...so I gave him tylenol before bed. I checked him at 3am & he felt cooler so I let him sleep. This morning he is coughing & has a fever again. However he is his usual self, sweet, helpful & of course bouncing with energy. I am going to call the pediatrician & see what she says. He did have the regular flu shot but I am nervous.

:wizard: for Daniel!

Morning, everyone! It's a beautiful fall day here. Wish I could enjoy it, but I've had the chills all day yesterday, and again today. I think I'm coming down with something, as my throat is scratchy, and I have a wicked headache. I'm going to get the family off to church, and then crawl back into bed. I may detour into a hot bath, but we'll see!

Anne Marie - I'm sorry that Daniel is not feeling well. A call to the pediatrician is probably a really good idea! Pixie dust that it's just a quick bug, and not H1N1.

Bernadette - Sorry about Emma, too! Sounds like she also needs a call to the pediatrician! Here's hoping that you don't get it (Lizzie, either)!

Kristine - I've been loving your TR. Sorry you have to come home! Hope the flight is ok! How fun that you met up with Marti and Paul!!!

Have a great day, everyone! I'll check back later!

:wizard: that you feel better soon, Glynis!

no...those jeans were all for me...1 pair fit great. Poor Abi...nearly nothing fit her and she needs more jeans because the ones I got a little less than 2 months ago are getting too short. Cassidy did find a few that fit (Jennifer if you are reading...one pair was a Gloria Vanderbilt) but she was only allowed to get one pair.

Clothes shopping isn't too bad with the girls...as long as we spend some of that time looking for them...heaven forbid it's only me that needs clothes. :rolleyes1

 I am so sorry that you have to deal with that. Miles has told me that a lot of kids in his class (5th grade) have cell phones. Fortunately, he hasn't asked for one yet.

I really need to do some clothes shopping for myself, but since I don't look good in anything, it's hard to want to do it. Laura is fun to shop with except when we need to find jeans. Everything is too loose or too tight, too long or too short, too baggy or too fitted, too this or too that. Even when we look at the same brand and same size only one pair will actually fit right. She currently has only 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of dress pants, and a couple of pairs of sweats, so I just do laundry a lot. I need to anyway, because I only have two pairs of pants.

Tammi We just gave in and got the 2 older boys cell phones. They don't need them, but with the ordeal that we are going through we feel that it will be easier for them to contact us or if something should happen to them our numbers are stored as ICE so someone could get us. I have always been opposed to it, but not so much now.

We got outside and worked on our Christmas decorations. We're probably a little less than half one, but at least it is a step in the right direction. :thumbsup2 We're finishing up dinner now then we're off to the viewing party for Extreme Makeover Home Edition. This is your reminder that the Episode is on tonight.

Sadly I am not surprised in the least. We have Daisy aged girls, K or 1st grade that show up to council events with cell phones. Why does a 5-7 year old need a cell phone? It is a huge issue with summer camp. As we do not allow them and the policy is very clear on the paperwork that must be signed but they still show up.

I've given up on finding jeans or that look decent, if they are long enough and kind of fit they typically come home with me. Otherwise I would never have pants.:rolleyes1
