Kristin and I are headed into DC this morning for the cooking & entertaining show. I also get to finally meet another DISer (TDCNala) that I have been talking to for years. She lives less than an hour from me. Sometimes our small world can seem awfully large, you know?

This is very late in the year for a hurricane. My parents leave tomorrow out of Miami for a Panama Canal cruise. I hope it doesn't affect them too badly.

The sun is shining, but it is still cold here. I need to go grocery shopping and pick up some craft supplies. I finally had an inspiration for this years homemade ornaments.
