I'm hoping the return of my head stuffiness is the fact that the Claritin has already worn off. The times I've taken it, it doesn't seem to last more than about 8 hours. Has anyone else experienced that? Otherwise, I may have to break down and treat this like the cold it may very well be. Dang it! I hate when they come out of nowhere like that!

What a good day today. We went to the Rascal Flatts/Darius Rucker concert. We got there and sat in our seats and could not see a thing. They had set up these cameras right in front of us. About 20 of us from the section went to guest services and they upgraded all of us!! The three of us ended up 16 rows from the front. It was amazing! We had a bit of train drama getting home so i just walked in the door--bedtime!

That explains how I felt the night before last. No cold like issues just suddenly hit a wall and almost couldn't function. Woke up yesterday with the throat and now it's the whole head.

Brandon is supposed to have his first football game today but it doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate.

I haven't sewn in years but I'm going to try and make a cheerleading outfit for Aubrey, we'll see how it goes.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well, Tia, and I saw on FB that Tom is feeling lousy, too. Nobody is 100% around here: Kevin has had a cough for weeks, kids have runny noses, and I have some sinus issues.

But, the show must go on...time to get ready for soccer!

Plans hve been changed here this morning, my SIL is out of town so my daughter is a single parent this week, Brandon's game will be played rain or no rain so I'm going to keep Aubrey, I hate missing his game but we don't want a sick baby either.

I finally went back to the dentist for my cleaning and check up, being paranoid of the dentist like I am it's been waaaay too long since I've been, I was shocked when she didn't find anything that needed to be done
a good shock though. I think I'll keep this dentist, her office is gorgeous,you have your own tv to watch at every chair, her staff is great, she's the best I've been to as far as "chair side" manor and to top it off they give complimentary hand massages. Not to mention that she's on the PPO list of my insurance, hopefully this will help me reform my ways.

Did you get a pattern for a cheerleader? Joanns has Simplicity patterns on sale until today for $1.99. I bought Lizzy #4040. The smallest size is a size 2 but I didn't find any smaller than that. Would you like to pratice on a bigger one first. I don't know that I've ever done a zipper on my own and this pattern has 2. I'm going to have my own chant "It is JUST a costume, it is JUST a costume!!!"

My child is going to drive me to drink.

He is CERTAIN that his friends do fabulous and exciting things on the weekends. He has no idea where they go or what they do, but he is SURE this takes place. So he has been HOUNDING us to let him go with his friends. Go where? He doesn't know. With who? He doesn't know.

At 9:15 AM he was ready to go and do whatever this mystery activity is. He was admiring himself in the mirror. He has NO PLAN.

He decides he might want to see a movie. He doesn't know what movie. he doesn't know what time. He doesn't know if he wants to eat at the food court before the movie.

He calls one friend and leaves a message. He decides that's it. I tell him if he is assembling a GROUP he needs to make more calls. He calls ONE MORE person. Then he stares at me. This is NOT rocket science! Call some friends and ask if anyone wants to meet to see a movie.

I wonder how many more photo-ops we'll get with Alyssa in Minnie's chair before they start demolishing Toontown.

Hopefully they'll still have a free-standing Dumbo, too, since Noah is only going into his second milestone picture in November.

And, this seems like as good an opportunity as ever to tell you that we'll be looking for a 4th milestone photo spot soon. I'm 14 weeks pregnant!
