There is a thorasic surgeon that comes in to swim every morning. He goes all out and is totally wiped by the time he gets out of the pool, then he heads off to preform surgeries.
How can he be on top of his game with his surgeries, if he is tired from his workout?

Of course, in there I've got to see what I can figure with my/Terra's troop. My co-leader is driving up the wall and upsets me again with each new email. As much as I hate to admit it, I just don't know if I can make our personalities mesh with me as the leader. I'm going to talk to my other co-leader tomorrow (her troop from last year and ours merged for this year) and see what advice/ideas she has. Depending on that and how the next meeting goes, I may go ahead and move us out of that troop. I am leading Kassie's 2nd grade troop so I'll just officially register Terra with them and let the current co-leaders assume our 1st grade troop. I really like working with these girls and I really hate to think of abandoning the troops, but I also don't want the issues I feel exist to put any damper on their year either. I know it sounds silly, but any prayers or pixie dust for the wisdom to do the right thing for all involved, but especially the girls, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, guys!
Oh yeah, one last thing before I head to bed...We had such a good time with Wendy, Michael and Danae today. It's amazing how far Michael has come since I first read his Make a Wish trip report and first met them here just before his big surgery almost 2 years ago. He's grown a lot, matured some and is improving in lots of ancillary ways as well now that the major issues are resolved and/or able to be better managed.
Pedicure will be tomorrow after my last day of work. I was able to at least convince her to let me finish out the week at work if I kept my feet up a lot more than normal...so I'm really gonna try. I wonder how much I should be "off my feet" when I'm at home...I never really clarified that with her...can I take walks? She didn't say I was on bedrest, just to keep my feet up...
I plan on stopping at Walmart too and picking up a pineapple.
Bill's mother is doing very poorly...I am wondering if the end is near.
She has been on and off sick for 3 weeks....she seems so unresponsive and her hands have begun to turn black.
Bill is the only child...so I feel bad for him.....
I am so hoping for a peaceful release..and soon.
I have an issue with my Daisy co-leader. Needless to say, tomorrow night will be her 1st and last meeting as such.
I am off to spend the day submitting applications. Hopefully, I'll find something.
I am fairly sure you can use the pass to get into the park and then go right to guest relations in that park and get full value for the ticket! Or turn around and walk out of the park and use that guest relations-I'm pretty sure once it is used it immediately has full value.I posted this on my PTR but I know not all of you read those things (I don't always read them either, if they are on a different thread!). But I wanted to ask opinions about our AP purchase next month so I am pasting my entire post here so you all don't have to go find it. Thanks to anyone who might have first-hand knowledge of this situation!
Life has spiraled out of control with work, sports and homework, but I have started a trip report and will hopefully post soon.
I was freezing when I left work tonight!I'm planning on taking the family to the Aquatic Center tonight. Chris wants to take a spinnning class at 5:45 and I want to take a poolates class at 6:30. The kiddos can swim. I also need to dig out some warmer clothes as the highs for this weekend are in the low 60s. We need to pack for the Great Escape, the water park and for the evening cruise at the car show. Some indoor activities and some outdoor activities and not too warm.
They made 5th grade chorus optional! Yay!!!!Think someone is stalking me here?
They did change the way that band and orchestra are done. Instead of missing class time for large group practice, they need to miss recess once a week for each, and one other time during the week, they'll miss time at the end of the day. They still miss once a week for small group lessons. Miles is just thrilled not to be doing chorus, and he has also decided not to try a band instrument.
Laura had almost 3 hours of homework last night. She wants to know what is up with that much homework on the first day of school! She may also be giving up synchronized swimming but hasn't fully committed to that yet. She is pretty sure that she won't have time for synchro (which is 10+ hours of practice time per week...more like 13+ hours if you add in drive time, changing time, etc), and she doesn't really love it any more. It is hard for her to imagine not doing it, though, so she needs a little more time to decide.
I went to preschool and cleaned for over 6 hours today. I need to go back for more tomorrow. I have a headache from dust and cleaning chemicals.
I wouldn't know. How does anyone do a strenuous 60 minute workout then turn around and go to work? Second Wind?
Elin, did you see the Jazz in the Courtyard event at Ingleside next weekend?
Hi, DDA!
Quick fly-by post to let you guys know that Austin arrived safely at 7:57 this morning. He weighed 6 lbs, 5 ozs and was 19 inches long. We are just thrilled with him, and appreciate everyone's prayers and PD.
I will post pics as soon as possible, but as I'm still being treated for BP issues (with the dreaded mag drip), I can barely keep my eyes open and am not mobile as of yet. But I have high hopes for tomorrow.
Good night, DDA!
