Good morning everyone---the first thing i did this morning was check the weather--its gorgeous out! Its a jumping day!! Now that it is here, im REALLY nervous!!! We are meeting at 10 to start hte drive to the place so I just want to get moving so i dont get so scared!!

Good morning everyone---the first thing i did this morning was check the weather--its gorgeous out! Its a jumping day!! Now that it is here, im REALLY nervous!!! We are meeting at 10 to start hte drive to the place so I just want to get moving so i dont get so scared!!

Clean your room, do a load of laundry, unload the dishwasher.... do things that will keep your mind off what is to come. and have a ball!!

Anne Marie, holy cow! I hope Katie is OK!

Stephanie, yes, we have a Shoe Bag. I think I ended up with 7 pairs of shoes on our August trip. There were other things in that bag - ponchos, a tripod, glow sticks, a beach towel, the full size wrinkle releaser spray, the Purex laundry sheets (DH liked those), 2 bags of ground coffee, sunscreen, probably more stuff I can't remember. I don't bring any curling irons or blow dryers, though the blow dryer at AKV was definitely not my favorite. It got REALLY hot but didn't put out much air.

I wore capris and one of those tops with the little twist in the front to Flying Fish. It isn't super dressy - capris were fine.

Thanks for heads up on the hair dryer. I try not to use one much when we're away but it's good to know to bring the one from home in case I do want to use it!

I know im crazy but thats okay..Elin, I took your advice, did laundry, put fresh sheets on the bed, etc ...So i just sat down and turned on the tv and the movie The Bucket List was on..and it was at the exact part that they are going up in the plane to skydive..I had to go wake my brother because the timing of it was too funny!

Good morning, I posted on facebook but I also wanted to post here...

Katie was running the mile outside during PE & fell. She hit her head on the concrete & scraped her leg up pretty bad. She says shes feels better today but still has headache. They gave her a CT scan yesterday & dr said she had concussion & thankfully nothing more.

In the hospital there was a incident where an adolesent male had to be restrained by 4 armed guards in the hallway which freaked us out...

Katie fell during gym on concrete running the mile. Went to the pediatrician who sent us to ER. 6 hours later...she has a concussion. I am having a bowl of chocolate ice cream for dinner & then bed!

I see you posted she's feeling better today, poor thing, I hope she's 100% soon.

Jen - have fun, that's something I would never do, but those indoor skydiving places look like a ton of fun.

I am loving all the creativity and speculation that is coming from the Disney/Marvel purchase.

This song is hilarious, before you listen to it with your kids make sure you listen first and approve. Worse words are on TV, but I do not want anyone to get any surprises.

Worth1000.com is a photoshop website that has lots of Photoshopping contests. They have designs in a Disney/Marvel hybrid contest. Some are awesome and super creative.

I am heading to bed. I need to clean sometime this weekend. I also may go to the Hamburger festival. Yep, lots and lots of hamburgers, 20+ different hamburger vendors. Not sure yet.

Chris and the boys loved all the Disney Marvel mutations. Now they are coming up with their own ideas. The latest was can you imagine a hulk/donald mutation. The Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets and Donald is always angry

It is a gorgeous day here. It will be in the low-mid 80s for the next three days. What a lovely way to end the summer.

She was just too happy yesterday!!!

A co-worker went home at lunch and was not slated to come back. Stephanie drove over to her house just to give her a hug because she forgot to do that before she went to lunch!!!
