Katie fell during gym on concrete running the mile. Went to the pediatrician who sent us to ER. 6 hours later...she has a concussion. I am having a bowl of chocolate ice cream for dinner & then bed!

That is a BLATANT violation of the Packing Rules!!!

That's OK, I almost booked a cruise today that leaves next Saturday from FL. So we would have left next Friday. We came to our senses but the quote technically does not expire till the end of the day to book it.

But we are not going. Instead we are probably going to the beach in DE. I am trying to convince my Mom to go parasailing. She loves Soarin' and I truly believe she would love it. She is just scared about the fact it is on water, as she is afraid she is going to drown or get hurt because she does not know how to swim.

I told her she most likely will not even get wet and I would go in the air with her if she wanted me to. I'm still working on her.

Chris and the kids are starting their 3 day weekend. Unfortunately I work one of my jobs each day so no break for me. We are going away next weekend so I'll get a weekend off then.

Elizabeth, I hate packing. Hate it. I looked at the stuff in my Owners Locker and first tried the medium suitcase. But even with no shampoo, no soap, no slippers, no toothpaste, I still have to bring the large suitcase. You usually have one bag just with shoes don't you? I'm trying to cram 1 pair of sneakers and 3 pair of shoes in with the tshirts, underwear, socks, laundry stuff, makeup kit, jeans and shorts hair dryer, curling iron and InStyler. I'm having a terrible time.

Anyway, what shall I wear for Flying Fish???

Stephanie, yes, we have a Shoe Bag. I think I ended up with 7 pairs of shoes on our August trip. There were other things in that bag - ponchos, a tripod, glow sticks, a beach towel, the full size wrinkle releaser spray, the Purex laundry sheets (DH liked those), 2 bags of ground coffee, sunscreen, probably more stuff I can't remember. I don't bring any curling irons or blow dryers, though the blow dryer at AKV was definitely not my favorite. It got REALLY hot but didn't put out much air.

I wore capris and one of those tops with the little twist in the front to Flying Fish. It isn't super dressy - capris were fine.

it does seem to be coming together, doesn't it??

If I can get it off the ground I am calling it TmT Photography (my maiden initials) and what I used to put on all of my art. It's been too long since I've done anything truly artistic.

Could you store more things in your Owners Locker?

Shorts/Capris/pants and a nice shirt, although you could probably get away with a t-shirt

I saw that you had posted that on facebook but you never said what happened. Poor Katie. And poor Mom! Chocolate ice cream sounds like the best thing for dinner. (I am assuming she came home.)

I am loving all the creativity and speculation that is coming from the Disney/Marvel purchase.

This song is hilarious, before you listen to it with your kids make sure you listen first and approve. Worse words are on TV, but I do not want anyone to get any surprises.

Worth1000.com is a photoshop website that has lots of Photoshopping contests. They have designs in a Disney/Marvel hybrid contest. Some are awesome and super creative.

I am heading to bed. I need to clean sometime this weekend. I also may go to the Hamburger festival. Yep, lots and lots of hamburgers, 20+ different hamburger vendors. Not sure yet.
