recipe for banana bread please
It's a slight adaptation on Vicki's "Great Aunt Bess' Banana Bread"
Mix:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup oil (Vicki's is for shortening)
2 beaten eggs
4 T milk
dash salt
Add:
3 soft bananas
Add:
1 t soda
2 cups flour
1 pkg chopped nuts (optional)
Bake 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. It's done with toothpick comes out clean. Makes one large loaf.
**When I have 4 larger bananas or 5 smaller ones, I make a batch and a half and bake it in two pans. The loaves are still nice sized that way. Plus, I usually add about 1/2-3/4 cup of chocolate chips to one loaf per Terra's request. It is really yummy and our favorite recipe! THANKS VICKI!
Janet I hope you feel better quickly
The boys had good days, no complaints anyway. Colby said his day was really quick and he got to play on the Spider at recess. Kindergartners can't play on the spider so that was huge for himThey came home with lots of homework for me, none for them though. I was a good girl and had all my homework done by 3:30 so I decided to do our budget and pay bills
That's one crappy job done.
Good job on finishing your homework quickly, Deb! Amazing how much homework Mom gets during that first week, huh.
Hi, everyone! Popping in to say I was thinking of you all. Hope all the kiddos are good and settling back into school (I guess some may not be back yet). And I hope all of YOU are doing well too!!!
Hi Denise! We miss seeing you! How are the kids liking 3rd grade (that's right, isn't it?)? How's work?
