How is your daughters toe?

Riley is fully healed, just a few scabs left & luckily I do not think he will have any scarring!

The said bicycle is going in the trash. Garrett decided to ride it yesterday while with his friends & it did the same thing to him. Thank goodness he had better control of it & was not hurt. The bike is cursed lol

Her toe seems to be healing nicely. We will find out more tomorrow morning when she has her follow-up with the doctor.

I just realized that 30 days from now Bob and I will be headed to the airport for our flight the next morning. Wow, that came up fast all of a sudden!

I have a question for DVC owners. I saw a post on another thread by a DVC owner who had wanted to visit BLT while they were at WDW next week. She figured they would not be able to because "BLT is on lockdown." What the heck does that mean??

I have a question for DVC owners. I saw a post on another thread by a DVC owner who had wanted to visit BLT while they were at WDW next week. She figured they would not be able to because "BLT is on lockdown." What the heck does that mean??

You can only access BLT with a KTTW card. Meaning, you have to have a room key for there to be able to enter the building.

And honestly, there is nothing to see there. No shops, no restaurants. Just hallways. I guess the only thing one might want to look at is the pool, which you also need a room key to enter, and the Top of the World lounge, which again, is only available to guests staying at BLT.

So I've been thinking about this Marvel acquisition. When I took the KTTK tour last month our guide mentioned something about the old 20,000 Leagues area, and that Pooh's Playful spot only takes up what was the queue area of that attraction. Then he mentioned the wooded area behind it. We were talking about this because we were looking at an aerial view of an old map that still showed 20,000 Leagues. Anyway, he made mention of Disney announcing, in the next 2 or so months, plans for that area. He couldn't say anymore. Maybe the will build Comic Book Land.

Hmm. I don't know. But I can find out.
I do know you can NOT just go in and wander around in there. They did have models open from 2-4 PM for current DVC owners, but you couldn't just go and putz around unchaperoned.

I have read rumors about expanding Fantasyland, but not anything relating to Marvel. I am not a fan of comic book heroes, so we'll see where they go with this.

Janet-you are right....as long as they are clean it shouldn't matter...it was the tattered and extreme casualness that I am not used to. I will say I have been to more casual funerals...but that was more because of who the deceased was...Carol was a very prim and proper lady....that is the part that threw me off.

Abi decided to go to the funeral....she wanted to after having a dream last night.

Theresa - It just has to be the last thing you say out loud the night before and the first thing you say out loud in the morning.

So I see Dec. hours are out! I am pleased with the way the hours line up with our plans for the most part. I will say that since MGM closes at 8 PM on Saturday it will be tricky to get to dinner and the Osborne Lights. We may need to rethink that. My Tusker House breakfast has been derailed by AM EMH, but hey! I'll take an extra hour of park time!

I got my return flights, at a good price too!

I was looking at the refurb rumors. My kids are going to be mad. It looks like CP will be closed for Jan/Feb. Maybe it won't close until after Jan. 6.
