The two of them came up with that when we went to visit Kathrin in Boston last summer. We need to keep them separated or they will most likely re-invent our language!

We were to have been there 12/5...sniff....sniff....

I know... I was so looking forward to seeing you again and meeting Jonathan. Oh, yeah... and Austin.

Also, does your new car by chance have an audio input jack? If so, get a cord that will plug in to your iPod that way. I have yet to find a FM transmitter that is worth the plastic it's made of - I have one, but it's nearly impossible to use in any sort of metropolitan area with a decent amount of radio stations. The only place I can somewhat use it is Kauai, where there are hardly any stations! I use the tape player adapter in my car, as I thankfully still have one! Jonathan's car has the audio jack.

My car has the audio jack but I also discovered that my phone has an FM transmitter built into it! And it actually works. Who knew?!?

That's ok the more that post the better.

I know you've already made your decision but I would make that 3 who thought it was just OK. Of course we were up at 4am the day we went and didn't actually stay for the fireworks. I think you would be very hard pressed to eat $18 worth of desserts.

That is what I thought, and even though John has a mega sweet tooth not sure he would like half of what is offered. As for me - 3 Oreo cookies and I'm done so definitely not worth the money for me.

We did both last time...and enjoyed both of them. The kids & I liked Blue Man better.

Bernadette - I hope Joe will agree to try karate after he watches the girls a few times! Good luck juggling the furniture! Good luck with the car, too.

There is a little girl from Princess's class last year who will be in her class this year. Her mom has approached both Momboss and me about carpooling. Um, hello? NO ROOM once the baby comes! I told Momboss if that other mom wants to buy an SUV for me I would consider driving carpool. But really, that would mean Momboss would have to go get the other girl in the morning and I would have to wait for the other mom to bring Princess home. OR the other mom would pick up Princess in the AM and I would have to pick up the other girl and take her home. Which would be a huge pain if I wasn't planning to go straight home after school!

We will have to keep pondering the December meet. We definitely want to eat at Yachtsman. We also definitely want to meet Elin!

Lindsay - I am sorry your December trip has been nixed!

We will have to keep pondering the December meet. We definitely want to eat at Yachtsman. We also definitely want to meet Elin!

If you are all over at Yachtsman for dinner (and it looks like you might possibly be leaning that way) I could come to you too. The Crew's Cup is a very nice lounge and there is so much over in the BW area. Or, we could meet at the Osborne Lights right when they open, possibly. Although I think that "dusk" will be somewhere around 6:00.

We will keep throwing ideas out and eventually one will stick to everyone's walls!

Mine are off as well! Randy was dropping them off. We aren't supposed to accompany them in to school, but he said he saw Emmitt Smith taking his two in. UMMMM I'm thinking he probably won't get in trouble for bending the rules...

Elizabeth - Princess sounds like Chase. She wasn't very happy that the kids got to go back to school and she didn't. Of course, she also isn't this year, at least probably not. Kristi may got back to working at the Mother's Day Out/Preschool until she finds a job, but doesn't know yet. If she does, Chase will get to go too.

there is room, I think. We met a friend of my brother's there at our 2007 family reunion trip. There were 9 of us and lots of people watching baseball or football all over the place.

That sounds like it would work out fine!
So unless somebody comes up with something better, for now we will say Crew's Cup, followed by dinner at Yachtsman for all interested DDAers. We just need to make sure we have an accurate head count for dinner so Bernadette can call for the ADR as soon as her booking window opens. (No, I am not shirking my duties. Her ADR window opens before mine. )
